This is pretty much the best thing Watertown has to offer for these kinds of services. I've been coming here so many times just for a mani and pedicure and have yet been disappointed. The staff here is friendly and literally take their time with you and don't try to rush you out like some places I've been in the area while they see a crowd. They are well staffed and just simply professional at all times. They offer you light refreshments such as juice or water and even a snack while you wait or being worked The salon itself is always very clean and sanitized throughout the day and after each client. It's a great feeling when you have the assurance that the instruments are properly being cared for as well. I can say, all of the techs do an awesome job but my favorite is Ms. Helen, she's always who I recommend and request when I come. It's literally worth the money, I know some areas the prices may be a little cheaper but what I always say is you get what you pay for. It's definitely worth every penny. They also have rewards cards so after about 9 visits you receive a 20% discount off your service or a free manicure or waxing.

The second time I came here, I did NOT have a good experience. I came in for a gel mani. During the nail trimming I asked about a gel matte top coat. I was told it costed 5$ on top of the gel manicure. I thought that was really expensive in comparison to other nail shops so I declined to add it. My nail tech didn't speak very much English (not a problem), it seemed, so the male nail tech next to her kept interjecting in our exchanges and interrupting his own client to answer my question. I appreciate the help with the language barrier but I felt bad that he kept stopping the work he was doing on the lady next to me. During the whole matte top coat exchange, he kind of laughed at me for saying it was really expensive. Then he translated to my nail tech and they giggled together. I know they were talking about my question because he specifically said "matte gel". Then when the owner (I'm guessing) came over, the male nail tech told him about my question and they all giggled again. It was rude and kind of off-putting. After my nail tech had done the first coat of the color I'd chosen I noticed that the color on my nails had more of a pink hue to it than the neutral grey/beige I had picked out (see photo). So I told her it was really pink and asked why it didn't match the gel swatch I had picked it from. Once again, the male nail tech interjected and told me that it's the manufacturers fault. He asked if I wanted to take it off but I honestly didn't have time to start all over again. Usually a nail tech will show you the color on your nail after they've done one nail to make sure the color is what you were looking expecting. My nail tech did not do this so I didn't realize the color was wrong until it was too late. I was visibly disappointed and held up the swatch next to my hand so they could see that it didn't match. They just kinda shrugged and asked, "so it's good?". No. It's not good. Now I'm stuck with a color I don't like and the nail techs didn't even try to fix the situation aside from starting over. They did not offer a discount or a credit or any kind of apology at all. I'm not looking for a hand out, but at least try to make your customers happy, instead of laughing at them. So now I'm stuck with a color I don't like and the polish seems kind of thick, so I don't think it will even last as long as it's supposed to before it starts lifting. This visit was not worth the money. And I probably will not go back or recommend the business to friends.

Decent salon for the area. Got a mani and pedi there for the first time. Caroline did a very nice job. I thought the place would be empty because there are no recent reviews but I think people go by word of mouth. That was the case with me, at least. Prices are ok for the area. The place is clean. Nothing outstanding or horrible. Just your average salon for a small town.
Came here with my sis and her daughter for Mother's Day. They were happy with their services tho I think the gel polish is uneven. I got a gel pedicure and the tech was very rushed and did a pretty crappy job on my polish. Her nails kept pinching my skin, she filed my skin off and kept twisting my toes in painful directions. She ended up getting most of the gel polish on her hands and the inside of the light box. I would have asked to have them done over by someone else but I'd already been there for an hour and a half and was pretty fed up.

I made an appointment at Top Nails for yesterday (the day before Valentine's Day) and I received top quality service from Kathy. She's the sweetest nail tech. She gave me the exact design I wanted for a great price. The nail salon is so calm and relaxing. I'll definitely be returning! read more

Decent salon for the area. Got a mani and pedi there for the first time. Caroline did a very nice job. Worst pedi I have ever gotten. I paid $65.00 for this. My toenails chipped because she messed up the polish and fixed it without taking the polish off and putting it on top of the final gloss coat my big toe looks smuggy and so does my middle toe polish sucks, lame foot massage and my feet calluses were barley scrubbed off! I don't understand why this place has so many stars. read more

I usually really like this establishment. i've been going to them for the past four years and have never had an issue in the past, however, i went today to get my acrylics soaked off and one of the employees started tearing the fake nails off causing one of my real nails to rip. she proceeded by laughing and continuing my manicure when i had to force her to stop and clean my finger and get me a band aid. read more

Absolutely no nail salon compares to Top Nails in the Watertown area. They know exactly how to use their products but their attention to detail is the most outstanding in my experience of other salons in the area. Don't let the location fool you, you'll step into a great place. read more

After lookin up nail shop reviews this was the one with the best ratings. I took my chances and got a pedicure and my acrylic fills here. As a new customer when I walked in no greetings or acknowledgement that a customer walked in. I wanted for 5-10 minutes before deciding that if I didn't speak up I wouldn't get any service, mind you it was a slow day. For my pedicure I got the Jelly pedi. I don't remember who did my pedi and fill but it was one of the ladies. First off, my pedicure was great. But when I got a fill... it was horrible. Personally I'm a nail tech myself and my husband decided to treat me to a pampered day. While my pedicure was amazing my nails was a bit of a horror story. I understand my nails were a bit lifted because I haven't got them filled in a month due to traveling... but the tech insisted me to take off my one nail that was lifted and I agreed but she later on just decided to patch the lifted nail with glue & filled it... using her efile tool she filed consistently at the same area on my nail bed which created a lot of friction that caused a burning sensation and I draw back my hands and told her my nails are burning but she continued as if she doesn't care... after she was done with my fill the gel polish was blotchy and I got clear glitter which shouldn't be difficult to paint. But after 2 days my gel polish started to peel off, on the thumbs and the end of my nails. Another surprising thing was she talked to her fellow coworkers about me being "cheap" and "bitchy" in her native language... little does she know I'm bilingual and I can understand Vietnamese. My bill was $65 and I tipped her $20... I wouldn't recommend anyone who really value the appearance of their nails & customer service. read more

What a pleasant and relaxing experience! They offer so many different options for nail care and waxing! Came here with my parents for pedicures after my mom tried a manicure and enjoyed her experience. The staff is polite and the facility is clean. All tools come from new, packages that are sealed. They have a huge wall of color to choose from. If you want to get your money's worth out of nail service. This is the place. read more

It is not often that I give any business five stars. This Nail Salon was everything that I could've asked for and more. I have spent months looking for a nail salon in Watertown. Their location is easy to access, the customer service was amazing, no one was rude or grumpy, they offered beverages, a huge selection of polishes and designs, and best of all, the nail tech paid very close attention to what I asked for and got it perfect. She was not pushy and did y nails exactly how I love them. I would definitely recommend TOP Nails to anyone in the market for an amazing Nail Salon. read more

I'm new to the area and needed my nails done, which by the way are natural and very strong. I am very particular about the care of my nails, therefore I did an extensive search of local nail salons in the area and read reviews thoroughly prior to deciding on Top Nail salon. When I got to the salon (16 Jul 18), I told the guy that did my nails that I wanted gel polish and I didn't want him to use the electric file to remove the old polish, which he stated he was only going to use it to remove the top layer of polish. He then put aluminum foil and cotton swabs on each of my fingers and placed them under the UV lights to remove the remaining gel polish. After about 10 mins of sitting under the UV lights, he filed the beds of my nails to remove any excess gel. When he was done, my nails were very cloudy and flemsy. I was so disappointed because I knew my nails were ruined. Five days later my nails have started to breaking off and cracking at the bed of the nails after months of me growing them. I'm so disappointed at the guy and myself because I expressed to him that I didn't want my nails filed and should have spoken up when he was doing it. I definitely will not be going back to this salon. read more

Since moving to the area I did a lot of research for a decent nail salon and fell upon TOP Nails. I made an appointment and so glad I did, and I would highly recommend! If you don't expect to wait awhile, although it was a Saturday. I got in quick, showed them what I wanted from Pinterest and she did wonderful! I'll defiantly be back again! *My nails were a little off because of them breaking before hand and me choosing to use my natural nails, nothing that the girl did wrong* read more
