I won't go back. I called to see if they had time for a pedicure. They said yes but when I got there they were too busy. The owner was in the other room the entire time while someone else just kept bouncing between me and another client. Oh I just love sitting for 20 minutes with one foot done and the other not done while u do someone elses nails. Like I didnt exist plus is that sanitary. I Went to top nails in Phoenixville about a week ago, before my vacation to the beach. I called for an appointment and got me in right away. The owner kept asking me where I've gotten my nail done before, very judgmental and made you a little uncomfortable. Telling me how her work is the best and how her nails last the longest. It took two hours for a refill. Only have had my new fresh set of nails for only a WEEK and this is what happened. I honestly wish I never went there and I stuck with my original nail salon Enchanted nail in Royersford. Cleaner, nicer, nails last longer, and over all a better environment there. I hope the owner which I think is Hannah can figure a solution, why nails are falling off so fast. Really upset I paid 55$ for a refill, that she said was supposed last longer than 3 weeks, which is RIDICULOUS!!!! So upset and honestly wouldn't recommend to anyone who need there nails done. read more

I called around to find a place that could take me for a pedi right away and they could. I never get to do something nice for myself and had an hour before picking up my kids. I got there and they left me in soapy water for over 20 minutes. At one point she said two more minutes, and I sat there for at least ten more then stepped out of the water and said I was leaving. Best Pedicure around for the money. I discovered this little place when I used to live in Phoenixville. Everyone that works there is family. Now that I live in the city, I still make a point of driving here for a pedicure from Kevin or Van. The pedicure is around $40.00. Good quality massage chairs. VERY clean. Best of all is the slow, deliberate, strong foot and leg massage you get from nail techs Kevin and Van. Their oldest sister (I forget her name) also gives a great foot massage with her pedicure as well as a great manicure. Mainly based on the reviews and locale being close to home. Well, we were very pleased to have such fantastic service with both mani and pedi. We were treated like queens! The massage after the pedi is delectable, and the mani is just as soothing. My mom got regular polish, but I always go for the gel, as it lasts much longer. My mani lasted over 3 weeks and I only had to go get them redone at that point because my nails started to grow. No chipping or problems whatsoever. Thankfully I arrived early because by the time my pedicure was finished there was a line! Obviously I was not pricy to this places popularity! The pedicure was great - with a good massage. However, they don't use hot stones like my go to salon! The manicure was great. They push back cuticles rather than cut them which is so much healthier. The girl who did my french tips did them free handed and they were nothing short of perfect! Overall, Top Nails is a little more expensive but well worth the price. Visit #1: I walked in at 3:45pm on a Saturday to make an appointment and they took me on the spot even though they were supposed to close in a few minutes and all the chairs were full. They gave me a wonderful pedi that lasted until I went back about a month later. Visit #2: I called to book a party of 7 for my bridal shower just a week before the shower date. The whole family came into work on their day off to work on us. Every mani/pedi was thorough and high quality. It's been a month and my pedi looks almost as good the day I got it. I've gotten a gel manicure at many different salons and Top Nails did the manicure the same way, nothing extra- but they charged me $40 for the manicure that is normally $25-$30 other places, and also charged me $2 extra for using my debit card. I liked this nail salon. The prices are as reasonable as nail salon prices get. But the lady that did my nails was very nice. I asked her if I could get a design on my gel nails (I'd never had this done before so I didn't know if it was possible) she wasn't sure and was more than happy to try it. Luckily it worked and turned out great. And like a jerk I completely forgot to get cash to tip and she agreed to take my tip via card which was much better than me having to run out and find an ATM. I decided to go to Top Nails on a whim after being unhappy with my service at the salon I was going to previously. Great decision! It was 2-3 days before Christmas and I wanted to have my nails done for the Holiday, and it was the only time I could squeeze in before going home for Christmas. They were SUPER busy. They took a lot of time and care on my nails (despite being so busy), and fixed all the awful mistakes my nail tech made on my nails at my old salon. Now I go every 3 weeks and rarely have any issues at all with my acrylics and gel color! They have the BEST selection of gel color I have ever seen! Any color you can dream of - they have! The girls are so nice - I recommend any one of them! You will get a great manicure and friendly service. I have even brought my mom in for a manicure when she has come down from New York to visit me, and she loves it. Top Nails can get very, very busy so I always try to call a day ahead to make an appointment. They are more than accommodating to walk-ins, but I still would call before hand to make it easier for them and you! They take credit, but bring cash! The actual nail care was good. My pedicure was done very carefully and toes were painted neatly. The massage portion of the pedicure was not so great. I was surprised when my nails were painted first and then my legs were massaged briefly. Because I had wet polish on my toes only the tops of my feet were massaged. The foot massage is usually the best part! I also was pretty surprised that they charged $35 for a pedicure. I thought that was expensive. DO NOT GO HERE- WISH I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS !!!!! I have been a customer of Top Nails since January and always loved my nails. I did think they were pricey, but my nails were really nice. I never checked the bill as I always just trusted them, but today I did check it and they had overcharged me $10. The amount I paid today was the amount I had been paying since January which means they have overcharged me since that time, totaling over $100 in overcharges. When I questioned the girl about the services my daughter and I received, the girl told me it was a manicure that was in addition to the $50 I paid for pink and white gel. I asked her what the additional manicure was and she told me it was the soaking of my nails and clipping my cuticles. I asked her to show me this additional charge on the "Price List" and she could not show me where it was listed. I was shocked. My daughter was charged $40 for a gel refill and was given the same soaking and cuticle care as myself and not charged for it which confirmed that Top Nails was totally ripping me off. I was extremely disappointed and definitely will not return. If you decide to stay with them, please check your bill very closely as this is an untrustworthy establishment. read more

I've been going to Top Nails for almost 3 years, and in my opinion, is the best nail spot in town. I say that as quality is the most important variable when making this assessment. I've shown up with terribly damaged cuticles and two weeks later, my manicure is still holding up. Like other spas they have a menu of services, I typically only do the Basic pedicure and either the gel or normal manicure, spending between $60 and $80 before tip. This business is run by a lovely family and various relatives all who live in the area. The salon and tools are very clean and they treat both new and old customers the same, which is another important factor for me personally.
