I went today & got gel nails.... Nail polish on skin... Nails filed crooked some of them .. I thought I had an option to get pedi after mani but when I was finished with my nails I was told they have no openings & I need to make an appointment but they never told me I needed to make a decision at the beginning of my appointment as the nail tech communicated to me after my service was finished. The check In station is in a congested area where there is barely enough room for people to pass by each other comfortably to get to the restroom or to get to the color choice selection area. Awkward unprofessional atmosphere particularly "Sam". My sisters acrylics came out thicker than any nails I've ever seen. It was very obvious we were being spoken about the whole time and laughed at. They took about 10 minutes to complete a WHOLE set of acrylics( the thick pink ones) He was very careless, and rude. Aggressive in the way he did our nails and didn't like critique. Felt like a burden trying to explain my unhappiness. I was quite literally angry paying because I asked for round nails and got bumpy, square, messy nails. So this place is absolutely horrible!! I gave it about four chances before writing a review. The first time I went there no one even said hello they said what do you want and told me to take a seat. All I wanted was a gel manicure I asked how long the wait was they said ten minutes once it hit forty minutes I left. The next time I made an appointment to avoid this from happening again. When I walked in to check in for my appointment the guy told me it would be fifty dollars for a regular gel manicure I said okay because I wanted to see if the work was actually good quality. Boy was I wrong the gel polish had hair in it there was bubbles in my nails and he refused to wipe them afterward so when I got in the car they were ruined. I came back in and asked for them to be fixed he gave me an attitude and told me to go else where because he didn't have time. The third time I came here also by appointment I was told that it was a half hour wait even though I had an appointment. They proceeded to tell me that they had other clients. So they took people without appointments before me the whole reason I made an appointment was to have my nails done at that time. The dip powder I got was chunky and bubbly and she put four coats of dip on it was disgusting it looked like I had marshmallows for nails I didn't tip and she tried to force me to tip her. The last time I went also by appointment I wanted a full set the guy was rude and told me THREE different prices. First it was 45 then 60 then 90! I told him if it was 90 dollars I wasn't interested. Considering it was just a normal set with gel polish he told me that he would make it sixty. He did a terrible job with all the nails uneven and poorly shaped he asked me what I thought about the nails and I said I hated them and that's not what I wanted at all he said oh well there is nothing I can do. When I asked to speak to the manager he told me the manager was not there and I would have to come back next week and pay again! Then he went to cash me out and charged me 90 dollars! After he said he would make it 60 he argued with me and called me stupid. I will NEVER ever return here even if it was the last nail salon on this earth. My daughter received a full manicure while I only asked for a massage and for my toes to be cleaned (being a man, I did not want my nails painted). The salon is absolutely beautiful inside the way they have it decorated, which brings out a relaxing atmosphere. It actually gives the appearance of a spa and not just a nail salon. It's also incredibly clean, every surface is immaculate. I had been to this salon years ago and just went back for the first time again yesterday and it has been totally redone with many more seats for customers, which minimizes wait times. There were about 9 or 10 technicians there doing nails and pedicures. I went on a Saturday and in the past used to have to wait at least 30 minutes before I could be seen but this time I had no wait and was helped right away. The technician I saw did a beautiful job on my acrylic refill that I wanted and kept checking with me to make sure everything she was doing was to my liking. I always get nervous at salons when my cuticles are trimmed because I have been cut pretty badly before at other salons. She was very careful with me and didn't scrape at my fingers. This scores high with me. The price for a refill wasn't bad. It was $17 and another $5 for the French tips. I also noticed a full set cost $27 (I had a full set put on at another salon for $40, wish I had come here first!). They also now offer student discounts (the prices are advertised at the dying station) but only 25 years old or younger can get it. I am a student but 28 so I couldn't get that unfortunately. Very disappointed with top nails lately! Have been going here for a bit over two years but lately have seen a decline in their work and I'm super frustrated. Just got a gel manicure Friday, by Sunday my thumb totally peeled off. So I returned on Monday to have it fixed, they fixed the thumb and I pointed out how it looked like the pointer, middle finger and other thumb polish was lifting. They repainted a top coat on my right hand and fixed my left thumb. Tuesday morning three more lifted up. I'm a nurse and work long shifts - three days on consecutively - so could not make it back AGAIN to get them fixed, and am now going out of town for an event for the weekend (with nails that are a mess) so don't have time to stop by again and get them fixed. Total waste of money. And shame on me for tipping twice. Will be trying somewhere new. read more

I have been to this nail salon about 6 or 7 times now and I have to say I have gotten more and more disappointed each time. My first experience was good but since then it has been frustrating to say the least. On three occasions I have called days ahead to make an appointment only to arrive and still have to wait. What's the point in making an appointment if they're going to make you wait anyways? One of these experiences they had both myself and my friend sit at the pedicure chair even though only one person was available. By the time I was finished my pedicure and halfway done my manicure, they JUST started her pedicure. And they had her feet stay in the (by that time) freezing cold water. Almost every time I've had a manicure they have accidentally cut me while trimming my cuticles. Not only do they not even look up or apologize but they continue on, only pausing to pour some blue disinfectant liquid on it that stings like hell. It's always really inconsistent. Sometimes you get a manicurist/pedicurist who takes their time and does a really good job. But most of the time they rush through it and try to get you in and out as fast as possible... Even if there is no one waiting. Also there is no one there to greet you when you walk in. You just sort of stand their awkwardly until some one finally looks up from doing someone's nails to say "yeah?". The only really good thing about this place is their prices are pretty reasonable. It's the only reason I've gone back as many times as I have. But enough is enough. I will not be going back here. It's not worth it. read more

I really like this place. I never have an appointment, so I can't complain if I have to wait. My pedicures usually last a month, so I'm very happy with the quality of the work. The girls are always pleasant to me. Not sure why all of the recent one star ratings. I went to a different shop for my last pedi. After going to this place for the third time I am done. The first two times were good, the last time horrible. I am going on vacation in two days and went in to have a powder dip. I was trying to match the polish on my toes and the woman who was doing my nails pulled a color that wasn't even close to what I wanted and told me that was the color. I told her I had a specific look I was going for and showed her the accent nail color and needed to match it. She pulled about six jars and kept saying "this, this". You can't tell what the color will be from the jar of powder. She even made a comment to one of the other techs as he walked by and pointed to all the jars. I finally picked one from the sample ring and we got started. I asked to have a tip put on one which was significantly shorter than all the others. She said "yes, yes" and never did it. Fine, I've been living with it for a month so no biggie. She then did all my nails, doing the last two accent nails. I thought the color looked funny but again, it looks different until the top coat went on. When she did the top coat the color was TOTALLY not what I had picked. I have light mauve nails with a brownish accent nail. Horrible! I'm now trying to find someplace else to redo two nails but will have to take my chances as a walk in. And lets not even get into how bumpy they are. Don't take your chances - the quality is not worth the money. read more

Why do you have an inexperienced nail tech doing expensive 40+ dip manicures. She couldn't even file my nails right and managed to ruin 3 months of nail growth in 2 minutes. I will never visit them again. I have been doing my nails there lately. Sometimes I am satisfied and sometimes not. It depends on who does your nails. The last time I went, their debit card machine broke and some people had to leave to retrieve money at a near by machine and come back and pay. I was the only one left and the lady who was doing my nails asked me to leave something valuable before I could leave and get money. I have been going to this salon for about three years. My experience with them started off good. However over the years their service and attitudes have gone into the toilet. My favorite technician used to be talkative and friendly but she has become withdrawn especially when the owner is around. They only know how to do "basic nails" if you're like me and you want something funky and fun...perhaps a design that you might have found on Pinterest they won't be able to do any fun designs.
