I was trying a new salon with my girlfriend today and we were so nice to the workers and owners of this business. They were very aggressive with our nails, hurt our nail beds, also it burned really bad and I said, and I quote, "we are very nice girls and we will get a refund if we don't like the way we're being treated here or if we don't like the way the nails turn out" and I understand their language, but I didn't have to tell them that because I already felt so so disrespected especially when this happens to me and my friends so much. Given that, it hurt my feelings much more to hear them say such mean things about me and my sweet friend. I was nothing but nice to them because that's the kind of person me and my friend are. I'm even on video:) I will never ever go here again, and I want a refund because my friend is still not happy with her nails and I do nails so I could've done mine better. They were also trying to make me pay more and more and I even left a tip just cause. I don't want to ever come back here, and I would never recommend this place to people because although they can be nice sometimes, it was not acceptable in any way shape or form the way they treated us. It was a lot of money. I have my own business so I don't appreciate the way my friend and I were treated.

Extremely disappointed. I expected more from the nail salon based on previous reviews. They get a lot of business because they take on everyone that walks in and completely rush through everyone. The lack of consideration that some of us go in to relax and genuinely appreciate a good experience passes right through them. I am more than happy to overpay for a good experience and completed work, yet was asked to pay for my half botched pedicure after the lady that was doing my manicure was made to go help someone else.

I would not come here if I were you. I showed them what I wanted and I walked out extremely disappointed. The shape I wanted was a rounded out with length and had to add a few tips and normally its with dip powder so it's not so thick on the nail- they use old school acrylic. I asked him to fix the shape probably about five times and it just wasn't happening. also- they advertise cash discount when in reality there isn't any discount. they charge roughly 4% fee if you use any credit card so they claim youll "get a discount " if you use cash. not the nail salon you want to go to.

Always enjoy coming in here to get my nails done! I recommend this spot. Hung is the best!

I hate writing bad reviews but a simple and basic pedicure should't be that hard to do. Did people just simply get used to low standards and willing to pay money for a mediocre nail services? I was in and out of this salon in 15 minutes. I wanted a pedicure, I haven't had one in months so yes as a manicurist you need to spend time on clipping, cutting and polishing each nail and working on each toe. None of that was done. I got nail polish yes, 30 second foot scrub, and a light massage. On a way out I was asked to pay in cash or at least provide a tip in cash. Not coming back here, below average service

Made an appointment for two manicures, came in and there was a super long wait and they didn't really say much to us. We asked if we should come back and they said yes so luckily we were both hungry and went next door to Swamis to eat. They came over while we were still eating to tell us they were ready for us. We told them we would come by after we finished eating. My friend got dip on her nails and they chipped the very next day.

I've been going to Leena now for around 5 years... my nails have never been healthier. They a long and strong... everyone is always surprised they are my real nails and I only get gel manicures! Leena did my nails for my wedding and honeymoon. They were beautiful and natural! Definitely call in advance to make appointment! read more

I love this nail salon. All of the ladies are so nice and always ask questions to make sure you get exactly what you want. They smile, make you feel welcome, and do an amazing job every time. I always call ahead to make sure they can take me if I plan on walking in, but they also accept appointments, which is super convenient. I get both natural nails and fun designs, plus pedicures too. The space itself is open with a lot of airflow, which is great since nail salons can sometimes get a bit fumey. There is also a ton of natural light, which makes it feel even more inviting and clean. Overall, 10 out of 10. Highly recommend! read more

I LOVE coming here!! i've been coming back for about 6 years now! Everyone is so nice and accommodating. I've never had an issue here. The prices are reasonable. Lena does my nails and she is so talented I always leave happy. I keep forgetting to take pictures of my nails, but i've had some beautifully executed designs from them. I go to Lena for pink/white French nails. She does an excellent job. Always accommodating. Everyone in the shop is friendly and smiling. I've taken my family there when they are in town visiting and we all have a good time. I think of Lena as a friend, as well as my manicurist. Today I decided to have some fun and changed to black tips for Halloween. I just love what Lena did and they are beautiful! I've been coming here for about a year now and it's by far my favorite nail salon in the area. It has a very relaxing, someone hidden vibe which I love. I go to see Lena every 3 weeks for a fun new set! She's so good and very attentive to what I'm wanting! She's very flexible with her schedule and can usually squeeze me in last minute. This is the second time I've come here. The service has been good. Ppl have been nice. I must say I am disappointed that after $120 for mani/pedi including 20 tip not fully earned, I come home to see this. You are entitled to speak your beautiful language But when you do it In front of a customer who doesn't speak her language, it is considered very rude in this society. If I ask you to file my nails a certain way and I grab the file and do it myself because I see you're not going to do it that way, WhY am I paying $$ + 20% tip!?!? I prefer you figure out how I like my nails filed and you do it since I'm paying you (not paying me). read more

I used to think this place was good, but the last time I came here it was so loud and incredibly stressful. Getting your nails done should be a self care activity, an opportunity to relax. I was so stressed out by one of the nail techs literally yelling across the small space that I couldn't stand waiting to get my gel color on and decided to leave with bare nails. For just removing the gel I had on my hands and toes, cutting my nails and filing them, and a 30 second massage on hands and feet, they charged me $65. Ridiculous. Never coming here again. read more

The woman who I had to do my plain manicure don't know here name. She's the one with the tattoo on her left forearm. I told her please cut them short and I need them round or oval not squared please. She said ok. My fault, I left without looking. They were squared and not smooth. I felt like she was rushed, no one was waiting. My nails not only squared but not smooth. Her attitude, cold and angry. The woman who did my pedicure was fabulous. I will go back for her but refuse service from tattoo forearm woman read more

I have waited a few days to right this reviews so I could try and be less upset about the current state of my nails, I can't say it helped much. Last Thursday (8 days ago) I stopped in for a dip mani and pedi while in San Diego. I'm the last 8 days, SIX of my Ten fingernails have cracked and torn or massively chipped at the tip about halfway down. I have worked SO has to keep my nails at the length and condition they were in when I arrived at Top Nails,now sadly it looks like I have to start all over. On top of that almost every toe nail is chipped. Paid for an extra massage, owner? Manager? pulled out her phone and was scrolling through using one hand for the massage, I should have known this was not the right place, the woman doing my dip was so rushed and visibly nervous while doing my dip mani. Ugh what a waste of money. read more

Salon is ok. Nothing to write home about. Unfortunately it looks like I've had at least a week of nail growth after I was done. Another customer didn't want the paraffin wax so her technician took it back and left it in the bag. Only to offer it to me for $7. Just odd to me. Also, my friend showed her a photo of what she wanted and her nail technician laughed and said "good luck". Very odd experience overall and over priced. Not going back. read more

I scheduled a 50 min "Enhanced" facial with nano infusion and red light LED therapy. The Nano infusion is a deep hydration. The red light is anti aging and boost collagen and reduces inflammation. I figured it was just me being sensitive -- but later that day, I noticed a red burn mark forming right in the middle of my face. By the next morning, it had started to scab. I called the salon the next day to let them know what happened. They said they would inform the technician who worked on me, but honestly, they didn't seem very concerned about it. There was no apology, no offer to make it right -- just a casual acknowledgment and that was it. This was not the level of care or professionalism I expected. Accidents can happen, but the lack of empathy or accountability made the whole experience worse. I won't be returning.

I rated 3 stars because I was less than happy with my manicure. Bubbles were left in the gel polish, and the gold sparkles that I asked for ended up looking messy and unprofessional. I had to guide her as she was doing the sparkles, and in the end it still didn't look that great (even though I showed her a picture of what I wanted). The manicurist was also rude, impatient, and very snippy with me--a fact I would've just overlooked if she had done a good job. My pedicure was great, however. The gal was very sweet and gentle. She got rid of my ingrown toenail and did a lovely job with the gel pedi. read more

Wendy....I'd follow her anywhere to do my nails or toes! I did not enjoy this process until I met her. It was just necessary. Now, I look forward to it. Wendy keeps a book with your previous color picks, she knows if you want to talk or just be quiet, she teaches me Vietnamese words and we often have a laugh. She never hurts me with those crazy tools, and she offers great advice on colors. She even asks about my mom.... Schedule with her at Top Nails and Spa. I was visiting a friend in the area and came here based on the good yelp reviews. The staff was very friendly when I walked in the door and sat me down to begin right away. I got a gel manicure and am really impressed! It is the best gel manicure I have ever received. It has lasted me weeks without peeling up at all. Normally the back starts to peel up when I get gel and then I end up ripping it off my nails. Not the case here! I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking to get a gel manicure!
