I've been here a few times for full sets, fill ins and pedicures. The staff is always friendly. The place is big with one side for nails and one side for pedicures. I like a place that doesn't feel crowded. The parking is plentiful. The prices are pretty good. They have a nice selection of colors to pick from. I only gave 3 stars because of the quality of work. My nails always look pretty but it seems like to much acrylic. My nails look kind of thick and wide. I return because it's my friends favorite place and we go together sometimes but I don't think I'd go on my own. read more

I am SHOCKED by my experience here yesterday. I walked in, and every single employee was in the back. They had a new employee do my pedicure, which was fine, until she CUT MY INDEX TOE, didn't square the nails or really file them at all, and then came and interrupted my dryer time to start feeling to see if they were dry. I go out to my car after tipping $10 to be nice, AND THERE'S A HOLE IN THE BIG TOE!!! I go back in to have her fix it, and she removes the polish THEN PAINTS OVER THE NAIL POLISH REMOVER!!! Causing it to look AWFUL!!! Not to mention, GETS PAINT ALL OVER AND DOESNT PAINT THE ENTIRE NAIL!! Biggest waste of $40 in my entire life, I'll never go back. read more

Not quite a 5-star place, but it's absolutely a favorite of mine for a quick mani/pedi. Plus, they have been in business almost 20 years so hey...I have been coming here for MANY years (I think they had just recently opened when i started). The equipment is not brand-new and maybe slightly run-down, BUT it's clean and functional. What I like is that the staff isn't super-chatty to the customers, but they are friendly and polite. When I go I don't have to request a certain tech because they all do nails in a uniform manner. The owner/manager is very friendly. Also it's pretty spacious so if I must wait for a tech to become available there is always a place to sit. There are plenty of work stations so it isn't t often that I have had to wait, as long as there is enough staff working there. I like the location because there is a large parking lot available. I always only get a simple mani/pedi so my service has always been on point. They do the mini hand/foot massage and my nails look great after... This place is not near me, still I make it a point to go here because it's a no-frills place that gets the job done efficiently. It's not a spa-type place (but so?!) in and out! If you're just looking to get your nails, brows or whatever fixed up in a timely in/out fashion, this is your stop! Poor customer service. This is my second issue with this location and my third issue with the franchise. The business opens at 9AM per Yelp and the website. The owner and a companion pulled up at 9:45-10:00 am. While on the phone(as usual), the owner casually walked to the door, sipping her coffee. Life is not a game and time is valuable. At 9 AM every employee should be in the establishment work ready. I can not complain about their workmanship but with constant poor customer service, the quality of work means nothing. At least compensate clients with 5.00 off...free shellac...something small to let them know that you sincerely apologize for being AN HOUR late. The fact that there is never an incentive confirms the fact that OUR patronage is not valued. read more

AWFUL, TERRIBLE. Do NOT come here at all costs. I used to come here about 6-7 years ago & I remember why I stopped coming here! I was in a pinch this week and couldn't get an appointment for my regular nail salon. Do NOT have the older woman with the shaved head do your nails, she will make every nail a different shape. I demanded my money back and was told "oh next time it'll be free" we don't do refunds. I said oh there won't be a next time! My fingers nails are RAW. Owner Lori goes oh I'll have my brother fix them. As he's "fixing them" he's laughing because he sees how awful her work was. My time isn't a joke, thank you for wasting 3 hours of my life. The last 2 visit were terrible! I usually only get a pedicure but I have tremors so I thought I would get a manicure. Big mistake! I just got them polished, looked like a toddler did them. I could have done a better job. Yesterday my daughter went to get a fill in, new dip color she picked out dark pink chrome for the majority of her nails and chunky pink sparkles for the rest. She never had dip powder done before so she trusted the process she ended up with green chrome and white chunky sparkle. She was so upset but I told her to have them fix them. She did but told them to only do the dark pink chrome . Needless to say she ended up with baby pink with leftover black from the green previous but refused to get them done for a third time. I was totally disappointed. We couldn't sit there all day to have them re-done. They have a sign on the wall which reads "Life isn't perfect, but your nails can be" Not even close! Will never go back. Maybe if they could speak English they would understand what the customer wants. read more

The worse service ever, not professional, an Expensive, after she said 20, they charge 40 for the worse manicure ever

This was the absolute worst manicure that I have ever gotten. I went in to get a simple manicure and pedicure with regular polish. This entire session took 2 HOURS. The nail salon states that it opens at 9 am, however none of the nail techs arrived until 930, and customers were waiting outside. When I finally was seen, the woman barely spoke English and I could not effectively communicate what I wanted to her. After she understood, the went so slow, and kept messing up so she had to keep redoing them. She tore apart my cuticles. A week after this appointment, my cuticles are falling off of my fingers, and they look worse than they did before the appointment. When she was finally done with my nails and I was sitting underneath the dryer, she came over with a brush covered in oil and proceeded to put oil all over my barely dried polish. This ruined the whole manicure, and what was left had brush strokes in it. Please do not waste your time or money here. read more

I started getting my nails done in 1991, before it was even COOL to do so, and the only place you could get them done was Merle Norman... LOL I haven't had my tips done in a while and wanted to start again. I usually go to Nail Elite, but they aren't open on Sundays. Too bad for them I guess. I went here on my anniversary and Lori worked with me as well as her daughter. I got gel tips, a pedi, and my eyebrows done. SEVEN weeks later I finally made it back in for a fill and Lori was happy to see me!! I was even happier to show her that I hadn't broken, cracked, or even split a nail. In fact, 6 weeks in and I was still getting compliments on them... seriously!! The place is big and there is room for lots of people. (that I know of) I was going to Bianchi's on 16 mile and John R to get my eyebrows waxed, and they did a great job...but not only was it $20, you can't even add tip when you charge your card! Found this place on a recommendation from a friend...conveniently down the street, and only $10 for a quick eyebrow wax. Just a word of warning, if you use your credit card, they'll charge you an extra dollar. I only waited about 5-10 min...only because there was one customer ahead of me. Nail tech was very rough w my hands (my hands do not relax easily) she squeezed fingers and pulled on my arm while grunting and huffing. She was very rough while course filing as well as using the block file, sides of fingers have cuts the next day. I requested 3 times "polish" and she applied gel. Nails look 1/8th inch thick. The hand massage was rough, before I knew what was going on she jerked downward on my right arm several times causing discomfort for entire day (I've been going to therapy for shoulder issue for three weeks) NO gentleness, no compassion felt, not very friendly. Advise listen to customers requests and make them feel cared about and they will return and recommend, neither will happen for me. read more

This is one of my go-to spots for my mani/pedi for a few simple reasons: -I have never had more than a 5 minute wait (for a busy gal- this earns HUGE points in my book) -You get great looking acrylic nails (thin, perfect round/square tips, not trashy looking like i've gotten & seen from other places). -The pedicure lady is scary (I am convinced she is really not a foot kind of person or a people person, but she does a bitchin job so if she looks like she wants to saw my foot off mid-pedicure I just tip her well and hope she doesn't this time). -It's priced pretty well. I think last time I paid less than thirty for a full-set and that included a good tip to the manicurist who would rub my hand and saw 'awe, sorry it hurt' when I would say 'ow' (while taking off TERRIBLE gel nails- he wasn't the cause of it hurting). It's not the trendy place, but the price is right and they do an amazing job so I'll keep going. read more

I haven't gotten my nails done in years and was just looking for a place to go nearby. I got a full set and they recommended a gel so I got that as well. The guy was nice enough although I couldn't understand what he was saying at all (my own fault) My nails were a little longer than I wanted and way too square for my taste. I needed to fix them when I got home. But they look nice and seem like they will last. The shop is huge and there are multiple stations. The staff was very nice and the other customers seemed happy. Not sure yet if I will return when I need a fill, I felt a little odd having a man do my nails and I definitely would like to understand whoever is doing them. I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and my nails done. I go in and sit down. They were pretty busy. As I am sitting there, I look down and there was a disgusting half painted finger nail on the ground. The lady calls me to get my eyebrows waxed. She puts the wax on, then turns around to talk to her son. I am sitting there with hot wax on my face while she has a conversation with her son. She finally gets back to me and does my eyebrows. I pay and leave without getting my nails done. I get home and my skin is red, swollen and has burns under my eyebrows. I have been getting my eyebrows done for years and never received burns from it. I went to Top Line for years. I've even recommended this place to friends and family that became loyal. What killed it for me was that I came back for a repair on my chipped shellac on one finger that was only 3 days old. Laurie said we don't have that color anymore and left me sit there for almost an hour. I told her I'd be ok if the color is similar. Customers continued to come in and she assigned them to nail techs while I sat there waiting. At least 6 people were given service. I didn't know why I was still sitting there. So rude. I ended up leaving upset. She sent her little daughter out after me. I simply sad too late, no thanks. I refuse to ever go back. They are overpriced, rude, unsanitary, and their work is not quality. read more

Wow. Yelp, you super steered me wrong. I went here based on the great yelp reviews - but I guess my standards for a nail salon are higher than the other reviewers. I had gotten shellac at a great place in Dearborn, but wanted to get them redone closer to home. I walked in on a Sunday, which was nice that they were open, but my instinct as soon as I got in The door was to turn around and leave. There was at least 7 people there, 3 kids, and only two people actually working. There were men sitting around watching the hockey game and talking loudly - probably to so they could hear over the kids yelling. Not a good start. Then, onto the manicure. Instead of using the machines that I have seen everywhere to take off my gel polish, I was subjected to four rounds of soaking and scraping - while the manicurist was gentle, I couldn't understand why he was doing it this way. Especially after I saw another manicurist using one. The water I was supposed to be soaking my hands in has stuff in it (dirt? Old nail polish?!) and all of his tools he took out of his desk - not sterilized, or opened up from a new package like most places. Overall, the place is the opposite of relaxing. Crazy dirty carpet, nail polish bottles everywhere, and when my manicurist was done scraping my nails, he took the towel and waved all the polish bits onto the floor. GAH ROSS. Fluorescent lighting, drop ceilings - you could not PAY me to get a pedicure here. My nails came out ok, but not that great. I just wanted to get out of there.
