Yet, just because people state something - I still had to do my own research, and I got multiple estimates from different shops. Based on what I was told - I honestly liked what and how things were being replaced. Through out the repair process - they kept me updated via multiple e-mails every other day or so. They were actually sent the wrong body part early in the repair process and even sent me a picture of it, just so I knew they weren't making it up. After my vehicle was repaired and I needed further documentation - they still kept me updated even though they had already been paid by the insurance company - and had nothing to gain. I also actually spoke to the insurance company in the beginning - and they informed me 'Tanner was a good guy.' Now you can dismiss that - but the fact the insurance company is on personable terms with the body shop - that's a win/win for me. It may sound weird, but I'm actually glad I was in an accident as Tanner's made my vehicle look better than before they got it.

I talked to Paul the week before and he gave me a time that I could come in to have my vehicle assessed. I told Paul that the time conflicted with my class, and he told me that was okay, transportation could be provided.Samantha made sure that I got back and forth from school, just like Paul had assured me. My experience was professional, courteous and comfortable! I've been having a really hard time finding a decent mechanic being that I lack knowledge for vehicles . Paul drove the vehicle around, and even had someone else check behind him for a second opinion. My check engine light has been on for months, even after I took it to Jiffy Lube, in which wanted to do a transmission flush that would have totaled to $80.00. Paul called me and told me that I only needed an oil change that wouldn't even cost half the price of the service Jiffy Lube claimed that I needed. Paul was right because for the first time in awhile, my check engine light is not on! As a matter of fact, I'm just going to be honest, Paul said the oil change was on the house, and that he understands that I am a college student trying to graduate. I was prepared to make another appointment when I could pay him, but he insisted that he took care of the issue so that I could continue my daily commute to campus. It's simple things like this that mean so much to me. I graduate this May, but this journey has not been easy. It seems that everything in my life was trying to stop that from happening, including car problems that have prevented me from attending class several times. The fact that the mechanics took the time to be honest with me about issues, and not adding to it for personal gain, means that Roe Body Shop has strong core values such as integrity and honesty. Mike was the first to get back to me, and the second shop (Vega's Auto Repair) that replied said, "Give Hysom auto body shop a call for that!" Mike gave me a detailed estimate for how much it would cost to completely repair the chip, which included re-painting the trunk lid. He also said he could do a quick touch up instead for 30 dollars. I decided to go with the quick and cheap touch up. I figure if I decide to go with the complete repair it would still be worth it for 30 dollars to find out if I would be fine with the touch up repair. I think I will be fine with just leaving it as is with the touch up. However, if I change my mind or need any other work done in the future Hysom's is where I will be going. Quick/painless/honest/friendly service makes it an easy decision.

I drive 50 thousand miles a year and want good brakes. I told Larry that I wanted Manufacture parts on my brakes and when I picked it up the brakes squeaked and I called and Larry said that I said I didn't want manufacture parts because it would be more expensive. told him that I would never say that because the brakes squeak. I was rear ended in October exiting the highway and had no idea where to even begin when it comes…read moreto repairing a car or assessing damage. After exchanging info with the person who hit me, I began my journey with insurance companies and on a recommendation from Molle Toyota (where I have my cars serviced) I found Hendricks. I was encouraged when I saw the Yelp reviews and made an appointment. When I arrived they did a quick assessment of the damage and then told me they'd be in touch with next steps. Now, this was mid October and I had to follow up with them several times to get any feedback on where we were at (which was annoying), and then by the time November came we had a new baby so life got pretty chaotic. They eventually got back to me mid November letting me know that they thought that the car had sustained more damage than Allstate agreed to pay for so they were asking for more money to do the fix. Since the car was still at our house, Allstate sent someone over to evaluate and luckily for us they agreed with Hendricks and we more than doubled what the insurance was initially willing to pay. I can't speak to repair work or timeliness on that front but I am very grateful for these folks as had they not challenged the quote from the insurance we wouldn't have gotten as much for our car.
