First time using this moving company. From the outside looking in from most of these numbers you dial off Google search seem sketchy. Most will text back only or call and give you a quote price and ask for a deposit. But the reviews speak highly of these businesses. Some are good reviews and some are outrageous. But you have to go with your own intuition when you communicate with them. These folks seem as if the are working from home when you call...I called multiple local movers and they all sound the as if the share the same number. 65.00 up front deposit for scheduling, which is suppose to go to your balance of priced quoted. They price quoted me w/two men 125.00/hr. In totaling, 340.20 estimated for a two hour window. From my storage unit, a 10x15, moving into a 1 bedroom apartment with a second floor unit. I was satisfied with the price quote but not paying upfront. Seemed sketchy at first but went with my gut, then they sent the invoice Estimations, (hourly, deposit, and total). I felt comfortable after seeing that within 5 minutes. Remember this is a local small company. I had a schedule move for 6/1/26 and then when I called by 9ish to confirm because I didn't received a call at all on the day that morning before 10am. When I finally spoke to someone they told my move from 10-12, they would have to move it to afternoon, like around 2ish. He said the work load before my schedule was going to push my time later, or we can do it the next morning Tuesday guaranteed. I WAS FRUSTRATED NOW, cause my time is money, and I wanted that Monday window. So I agreed on Tuesday from no other options. So I literally went to Walmart to shop, and had my mine on Tuedsay now, and like 15 minutes later the driver called me saying he'll be there early 10am. (That change so Dang quick). I had to almost quit my shopping to try to meet the driver at my storage now. Breaking my neck now. SMH. So I finished my light shopping and was not going to be rushed for their changes that quick. Met at my storage lot and explain everything from my end and the two men made up for this unpredictable morning. The moved fast and I didn't have much but bedroom furniture and living room furniture. Enough to be charge for 125.00/hr plus 75.00 maybe half the other hour. At least under 2 hours estimated. So we get over to my place, and explain the layout of my rooms for the move. They moved fast again. And the driver even told me and myself looking at it, knowing it was going to be under two hours as he stated and I seen it too. Move was almost done...the driver thereafter said his Bossman was going to call me to pay the remaining balance over the phone. I got a call, not from the business line, but another number. Conversation started and Bossman said sir the balance is gonna be 270.00. My take on that, I fell less than 2 hours. But they still kept it at the 2-hour mark, even though it was an hour in a 1/2. I knew my move was 5 minutes to get from the storage and my furniture was a less than 2 hours move. Driver knew it and said it. That part...I didn't agree on with Bossman. But now my take on this moving company, just from my experience...Pros, move fast and will accommodate customer during moving. Cons, don't honor less if lesser time than what is quoted. And not consistent and considering customer schedule appointment. For the most part the movers are hard working and it showed that day. I think one guy told my he was a football player but out for the summer from college. Seems they hire anyone looking for work, long as they are willing to work. Moreless not a big moving company, but more like your average guys looking to find work and pay. I would recommend them over those bigger companies, but it's unpredictable on your time again Hit and Miss. read more

Wish I could rate 0 stars! I would strongly advise against booking with Top Humble Movers - they are far from being "top movers." My experience with them was absolutely terrible. They broke multiple pieces of furniture, damaged the flooring in my home, and are now refusing to offer any compensation. They did not shrink wrap or cover any big furniture to avoid any damages. To make matters worse, their response time has been incredibly slow, and when they did respond, they showed zero accountability for the damage. When one of their movers admitted fault saying "my bad, that's on me.. I'll take care of that" The movers themselves were unprofessional and incredibly slow. They took multiple breaks during the move, even ordering food and eating on the job, which only added to the delay. The move for a 2 bedroom apartment took a total of 7 hours!! At the end of their service the movers started asking for tips stating their boss keeps their money and one last move the customer tipped them cash. It's beyond frustrating to pay for a service and get this level of negligence. The movers could not maneuver furniture through normal doorways and had 2 women move furniture to make their jobs easier. I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere for movers that actually care about their work and their customers. Avoid Top Humble Movers at all costs. read more

I used this company in January to move my furniture to a new home and this was the worst decision I could have made. From the beginning of the process it started good, I was quoted a price and given a time they would show up and they were early. But then that's when things turned awful, the guys arrived in a small truck and all my things did not fit. I hand to make several trips in my truck to take the remaining of my things. They charge by the hour and took there time moving my things and it was 3 big items that didn't fit and after speaking with Jack Gilbert the manager person, I was told they can come back and get it but it'll be an extra hour charge and I politely declined. They finished putting everything into my house and upon leaving I realized I was charged for the full hour and the time they finished was 1:05pm. Lastly I called and spoke with Jack Gilbert and he said he emailed me the receipt and so I checked my email and nothing. I called back several times and he didn't answer so after a few days he finally answered and I said again, I wanted my receipt and he said let me check and In his words, I don't have your email on file so I said, you basically told me a lie and he said yes, I guess I did. This was shady and I would not recommend this company at all. Please be aware of there tactics if you use them, but I would use someone else. read more

I wouldn't normally leave a review like this, but the guy they sent completely threw off the entire moving experience. He wore way too much cologne (to the point it gave me a headache), kept checking his phone like he was waiting for a text from someone more important, and moved like he had zero sense of urgency. He was tall with semi - curly hair and a nose ring and acted like he was too good to be there -- talking about 'he doesn't usually do residential jobs' and that he was 'just helping out today.' He didn't smile once, didn't say thank you, and gave off really arrogant energy like he was punishing someone by being there. He left two pieces of furniture near the door like he was in a rush, and when asked about it, just shrugged and said it 'wasn't that serious.' Safe to say... it was unprofessional and super uncomfortable. If he's still working there, I'd recommend requesting someone else. You'll know exactly who I mean when you meet him. read more

If you leave a bad review the owner will send you harassing texts, try to take away your right to free speech, and throw empty legal threats at you. Be aware! Absolutely terrible customer service. The only redeeming factor was that the movers doing the work did their best moving heavy machinery for us. There was an issue with the time it took for work to begin because we were promised three movers but only two were dispatched. Additionally, unnecessary trips were made adding to our total time. The so called boss was an absolute nightmare to speak to. When we tried to reason with him and bring up the verbal agreements he made with us over the phone he made it a point to cut me off, talk about unrelated things, and bring up contradicting arguments that he did not hold himself to. He held our time hostage by arguing dumb points and telling us we have to pay for the time we spent talking to him on the phone. When we tried to ask how we could pay he would not tell us, rather, he continued to antagonize us saying he's going keep the clock running until we apologized to him and his fragile masculinity. Thankfully the nightmare situation is over and we'll never use or recommend top humble movers service to anyone. I'd actually go out of my way to actively tell people not to use them. read more

The one star is overrated and should be no sta. For the reviewers, you need to stay far away from this company. This company provided moving services for me in September 2005 and it was a disaster. They were late, had truck trouble and had to unload and then reload my contents on the side of the road likely causing damage. Then they showed up at like 10pm and then hastily unloaded my contents until 1130pm. They under quoted and then charged me 50% more on the final bill after they came to my location to inspect and validate the contents for the move. I was charged more for their truck trouble. They damaged my house, and several of my items were destroyed including a TV, computer monitor, refrigerator, bedroom dresser, and some office furniture. I have been trying to get the owner to help me out on the overcharging, to include an increase on the truck fee, and help on the damaged items that they said they would help with. But, no call back. And, to top it off, they did not finish the job. The day after, my wife and I had to go rent a U-haul trailer and finish the job. Very frustrating that the owner will not call me to try to reconcile after 2 months. Do not use this company unless you want to pay more, have damaged contents, and potentially have an incomplete move. read more

I'll keep this part concise and say before listing the Pros and Cons, this rating is based on my experience with the Movers themselves (I'll get to the other parts later). Also note it was the Humble location, not the Spring one, that I called. I actually kept getting delayed by a *different company*, and called THM looking for an alternative...I'm so glad that I did. Here's the pros and cons from before the move: --Pros (pre-move)--: - Besary answered the phone and very quickly. He was super polite and patient. - Costs and rates were given up-front and very reasonable, compared to other moving companies I've worked with. - They can take credit payments and can get the card on-file over the phone. (Will reference this later) - Availability was excellent, he was able to schedule movers on a holiday for me (Memorial Day) so I didn't have to take an extra day off work! - EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS! Holy crap, they were fast and accurate, clearly detailing the appointment info and updates/changes so it was clearly spelled-out. You wouldn't believe how many moving companies don't do this. It was a nice, refreshing change from a company in their very affordable price range. --Cons (pre-move)--: - If you have agreed to schedule a move and your card is on-file, you cannot cancel. You can RESCHEDULE, but not cancel unless you want the fuel charge and 2-hour minimum charged to your card or payment method. To be honest, this was the only frustrating part since I wasn't told this up front, but the two-hour minimum is pretty common (some other companies have a FOUR hour minimum). Just make sure you've got enough work to fill two hours and know you'll be able to make the move at some time. Besary was also great about rescheduling it for me, that needs to be noted on this review, to be objective. I had two VERY large and heavy couches to move, a fridge, and big washer + dryer as well. This was going out of a 1.5k sq ft house into an apartment on the 3rd floor. I needed half the stuff put in a storage unit and the other moved to the apartment. Apartment was about 45 mins away from the home. [The company I was trying to use *before* (NOT T.H.M.) had 4 business days notice on my move, and agreed to 10am start time. They kept rescheduling, making excuses, to the point I thought I had the wrong number and it was a kid pranking me. They were already two hours late (I had to follow up after they were 15 mins late already) and saying they needed more time. I cancelled outright with them and glad I did] --Pros (actual move)-- - Communication! While the *other company* didn't even say anything when 15 mins *late* after the scheduled time, I got plenty of email confirmations and texts about the move already from THM. Justin from Top Humble Movers called me a little over an hour before and said they could squeeze me in an hour EARLY if that was ok, but that we could still do 10am if I preferred that. This was already off to a great start! - Justin and T were the movers assigned to my job. They showed up an hour early (as we agreed to already) and were ready to get working right away. They were friendly, but also efficient and quick. They asked first if they had questions and did things just as I requested. - They were careful with my items (wrapped my couches up nicely!) and thanked me for the prep work I did on everything. That's right, GRATITUDE from movers! Justin and T thanked me several times. - Everything got moved quickly and without complaining, they didn't try to stretch things out to get more money and we were right at the 2-hour minimum, which is all I was charged for. - Referencing the card on-file comment before, all the signing and payment was handled on an iPad, Justin explained the charges and gave me the actual amount right there. I just had to authorize charging my card and that was it, no hidden fees or anything. - Again, not trying to go overboard, but just the fact that I was thanked by them for my prep work and being friendly to them was a refreshing change of pace for me. That kind of service at this price range is unheard of, nice to know there's a company that operates this way. --Cons (actual move)-- - Honestly, nothing really negative I can say about working with Justin and T. I did feel bad that they had to move in a non-air conditioned truck, but that's not their fault, and they didn't complain about it. I only noticed that since they drove with the windows down and felt relief when in an air-conditioned place. In conclusion, I'm not sure which branch (maybe the Spring location?) the negative reviews used, but using the Humble location and working with Justin and T was great for me. I'm literally going to call up their boss to say what a great job they did. I only wish I was throwing a party yesterday (instead of unpacking) so I could have invited them over! I can't speak for the other people Besary might have employed, but Justin and T will be requested by me next time I need to move. read more

$450 for one hour! Avoid this company. I spoke to Jeff on the phone and let him know we were going to need movers to unload a small U-Haul truck from Nebraska Furniture Mart. Jeff told me they had a 2 hour minimum for movers for which I responded that I the movers would be done in under an hour. Jeff told me that the movers would also be able to assemble the furniture. This made me agree to the deal- 2 hours, 2 movers and an arrival window of 8-10AM. 10:30 AM: 3 movers showed up- 1 with a house arrest tracker on his leg. 11:30 AM they have finishes unloading the truck and opening all the furniture boxes with box cutters (the boxes have clear signs on them not to use box cutters) and they threw away parts to the furniture. I checked my credit card statement and I was charged $450!!! I called the company Monday after the movers left and left a message asking that Jeff call me back. He did not attempt to call me. Wednesday I called the company again and asked to talk to a manager. Jeff spoke with me and then the manager called me. The manager agreed that Jeff did tell me the movers would assemble my furniture but that this is not something they normally do but agreed to make it right that day by finding someone to come assemble the furniture. I never heard back from the manager. Now it's Friday and I called and left another message with the company. I feel robbed. Take your business somewhere else. read more

They made it a painless experience, I was dreading moving all my furniture and getting it down and upstairs and Jared and Larry made light work of it for an extremely reasonable price at that.
