This is a gorgeous and immaculate salon, but I will not be returning…read more The girl at the front desk had a hostile attitude and she lacked basic courtesy, which resulted in a very frustrating experience for me. The nail tech was young and inexperienced, and she struggled with a simple manicure. Throughout the years, I have been to a handful of other Toi locations and never had any issues, so this location was a disappointment. I drove the 5.6 miles to their Boynton Beach salon and got a really good manicure, and my nail tech was excellent. They have good reviews, so if you go, I hope you have a better experience than I did.

I came here because I was due for a pedicure, girllll. I was due!…read more Anywho, I came here since I dropped off my puppies for their dental and decided I deserved a self-care Saturday. Somewhere nearby! I originally was just going to get a coffee and get some work done nearby BUT the day had a different plan for me as TIPSY NAILBAR BOCA was conveniently located next to Carmela coffee SO WAS IT DESTINY? Maybe, some may say YES! Ha ha Anywho, I didn't have an appointment and inquired about a walk-in pedicure. Although they were clearly busy, I was taken back pretty quickly. About 5 minutes before I got taken back to a seat. And maybe about 5-10 before someone came over but the massage chair and water helped. I did the Signature Pedicure with French Gel with Kelly which comes with a drink (wasn't offered but I figure it's because they saw I had a drink but would've been nice to be asked at least, I would've taken a soda ha ha). She was very kind, thorough, and efficient. She wastes no time, love that for me because I love to take my time and enjoy it by being in the moment but if you're on a time crunch, it helps. After she finished, she oiled up my toesies and put on my sandals for me. My french pedi came out perfect and I love that Kelly made sure to ask me if I liked it, which makes a big difference after having gone to so many salons who don't care enough to ask. Will def come back, I'm in Boynton but I'd make the drive!

Yesterday, I called to book an appointment. I first asked if she had availability at 10 a.m., and she said no, but offered 11:30 a.m. instead. I told her that time wouldn't work, so I asked about the evening around 6 or 6:30 p.m. and she confirmed a 6 p.m. appointment. Shortly after, I called back to see if she had any openings around 12:30 or 1 p.m., but she said no, so I confirmed we'd stick with the 6 p.m. appointment. When I arrived at 5:45 p.m., Judy informed me that she could no longer do my lashes. She claimed my appointment was at 3 p.m. and that she had texted me to come in earlier however, I never received any call or text. She had clearly booked someone else in my time slot and simply decided not to honor my appointment. I told her this was extremely unprofessional, especially considering I've been a long-time client. Her response? That she didn't care. I was shocked and disappointed this was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. If you value your time and being treated with respect, I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. Loyalty means nothing here, and clients are clearly not a priority.
