First time, only time! I found this place to be old, run down and not clean. I went for a manicure and pedicure, I wanted the manicure first was told no someone else, ok Pedicure was fine, manicure worst I think my six year old grandson would have done a better job. I have been going to Nail Depot for many, many years! So many years that Tammy & John are the 3rd owners of Nail Depot since I've been going. I wouldn't go anywhere else! I absolutely love this nail salon. They are always professional and always do a wonderful job. A pedi with everything, cut, callous removal, massage, lotion, hot towels and polish, the entire nine yards is only $20! If you want a French Pedi it's $25. Since moving to the Tampa area I can't find any place that comes close! The prices are much higher and they don't do as good a job. They are decent for a basic pedi where they don't do as much, and btw, you pay more. They always hand you a pamphlet with all these different pedicures that they do. It's a constant problem with them trying to up sell! I just wish it was one price they charge and they do everything. Even if it was a few dollars more. Finally got someone to listen to me, about how I want my nails done. I keep my nails short and I like my acrylic overlay thin. This salon has a nice vibe, the owners are friendly, but Patricia is a hoot. She listens, she is patient and gentle. No sore fingers when you leave. I'll be going back again. For my pedicures, I either use Patricia it Sasha. Both experts in their field. They only work Friday thru Sunday. Try them you won't be sorry. Although the music choice could totally be improved, I have to say I am SO relieved the place across from my new home turned out this awesome, friendly and clean. I was so nervous about coming to a new place after seeing the same tech consistently in the past. My techs name was John I told him exactly what I wanted and he did it even better than I'd even expected. And it made me really happy to be able to tip more for a fabulous job, since their prices are so reasonable. For the services I got here for $60 I would have paid $85 in Jupiter!!! First they ask entirely too many personal questions that make you very uncomfortable like where you live, then proceeded to ask exactly where it was basically asking me for an exact location!! They kept asking about my daughter and touched her face ! You DO NOT TOUCH SOMEONES CHILD AT ALL !! I was changed from one guy who asked these questions and then I was switched to another lady who asked the exact same questions as if they were trafficking kids or adults or trying to get more information. The best bikini wax in Boca Raton Deerfield area. Edith the lady that does the waxing has been doing this for more than 15 years, she really know what she is doing. My hair has actually stopped growing in some areas WOOOOOOHOOO!!! Plus she is so gentle and a true professional. I also got a manicure with the new Shellac Nail polish. My manicure lasted 12 days!! Pretty disappointed with my experience there. I have been going there for a while and it seems like the more business they get, the less quality it is. They try to rush you in and out of there to just get more clients, and when they do your nails, they are not taking their time trying to perfect their work. They want to finish as soon as possible to get more people in. Also had an appointment at 1:30, got their on time, only got taken care of at 2 because they decided to do a clients just before I got there. It should be about quality, over quantity. They also do not sterilize their equipment. When getting my nails done, they made me bleed 3 times and when I asked if their equipment was sterilized, they said yes, but I never saw them sterilize anything. I have been using this salon for over two years and granted... like every place, once in a while they hire someone that "doesn't work out" but when you are unhappy for any reason, Tammy herself fixes it for you. I have walked into this salon, straight from the scene of a car accident... very physically and mentally shaken.. and left with a smile in my face!!! i'm always laughing at the silly banter between the staff and i enjoy it. i suggest if your looking for a no talking, foo-foo, no personality place... you go to a high end spa and pay high end prices ... I would NEVER recommend anyone visit this nail solan especially with a child. The woman that was doing my sisters nails (9 years old) was extremely rough with her. Pulling her forward and slapping her arm. She got a pedicure and was told to walk barefoot around the store and if she messes it up it'll be her fault. Immediately when I saw her walking barefoot I informed them she's needs to put sandals on ESPECIALLY because she is a child. At first they refused because she "can't fit" in the adult flip flop but when I informed them over & over that a CHILD shouldn't be walking around dirty facility she was given flip flops that fit perfectly fine. The gentleman also made my left thumb crooked & tried to blame it on my nail. When I asked him to fix it he began to laugh and shake his head. If it was up to me both employees would be fired. The quality of the work was poor (nail polish painted on way too thick/gloppy/smudgy and a pedicure with irregular file shaping on each nail - and a below average polish job). The leather pedicure chairs are all cracking, a rudimentary electrical cable dangles from the ceiling down to the front desk that they crudely try to disguise with a tall plant. She was impatient with soaking the gel off my nail that she was hurting me.She was extremely rude and asked me if they were ready as if I would know? She cut them so short that she was basically filing my nail bed. After expressing my discomfort she asked if I wanted to file them? Long story short I ended up walking out with my nails not done. I went there and got the gelish on my nails and it started to bubble when I got home, I went back there 2 days later because I couldn't go back sooner because I was working in Miami and they said they couldn't do anything that I must have smudged it myself, ummm hello it's gels they dry with the UV light, there is no way that I could make bubbles in my nails, the guy there is a real ass, he has really bad breath and told me that I should go somewhere else to get it fixed because they wouldn't!!! They have horrible customer service and the tools are dirty, he pulled them out of a drawer and I asked him if they were clean he said ya, but they werent soaking in that blue sanitizing liquid stuff, they are not clean there! I will never go back!!! I also saw a lady there get up from her pedicure and they just filled it back up for the next lady, without cleaning it, they didn't even spray any cleaning product in there.
