This update to my prior review brings me to 5 stars, even though there isn't any champagne ;) I've routinely been going to THN and I'm never disappointed. That was until the trip before last that has prompted this update. Let me explain, I got a gel mani the night before I left for a business trip. One nail chipped while away, and then another within days of my mani. This has never happened for me with a gel mani by THN. I was bummed and my schedule was tight so I debated going in for repair. Alas, I decided to call and they were more than willing to have me come right in for repair. Tracy happily repaired my nails and MY error in recalling how many coats of polish I had resulted in uneven color (not drastic). Tracy INSISTED that she fix them all so they were perfect, at no cost to me, even though we were quickly approaching closing hour. Top Hit was Top Notch! I see a few reviews that talk about the staff being nasty. I have to disagree they are nice. Unfortunately nice can only take you so far. This is your typical chop shop nail salon. I could rub my foot with a feather and it would have more pressure then the massage the women gave during my pedicure. DO NOT get waxed by them. I had a half leg wax and will more then likely go home and shave. I'm a little picky I guess I work in the beauty business so I know how the procedures go. The pedicure is decent the polish looks good the shape is ok but, none the less I can wear open toes. So for a quick get in get out its fine. There are better places out there for sure. It's valentines days I wanted to do something nice for myself and get relaxed. This is not the place to go. UPDATE: 2 stars was just too many. Went in for a quick polish change. I couldn't have made it easier for them. I brought my own polish, the girl I believe the owner drilled my nails to try and get me to get a fill. I did not need a fill and she made crazy drill marks I should have just left my week old polish. read more

I hadn't been there in years and went b/c it was Labor Day and not many other salons open. The person who did my nails, Jen had previously done my nails across the street at Jolie Nails. She was fine. I even let her do an extra scrub on my pedicure (not sure it was worth another $7 but it was relaxing. I liked the owner, Justin (a partner in the business) but I didn't love that when I started talking to him about his business and restaurants he directed everything to this woman that i was talking to. Totally made no eye contact with me - only her. I finally gave up trying to be part of a conversation that I started. For this reason and this reason only, I probably will not go back. I'm disappointed that a co-partner would do this. read more

Have tried this salon three times as the location is convenient for me. The pedicures leave a lot to be desired. And unfortunately, the acrylic nails were not much better, although they did last quite well. read more

This place is genuinely wonderful. I've been coming here with my mom since I was younger. every time we go it is a smooth in and out, no hassle experience. The women that work there are always friendly. I usually just get a pedicure when I go, but sometimes I'll get a manicure or my eyebrows waxed. The prices are great too and the reason we return! 20 pedicure 8 eyebrow wax 10 manicure I think.. Don't get it that often.. but a color change is only $6! read more

5 days ago i had acrylic fills all of my nails are chipping. i've never had this happen before, and ive been wearing acrylics on and off for many years. The owner stating gel last longer well over charging for gel Polish when you need fills in 10 to 14 days isn't justifiable! I have the best acrylic nails in town- thanks my Mimi! She is really really detailed and does my nails coffin shape, and thin which I like. I used to come to this salon and followed my nail old lady to another place, but came back after she moved. My appointment is always on time, I can schedule with who I want and the chairs are strong massage chairs. This is the worst place I have ever been. To start I went in with my daughter and her 2 friends for her birthday. I asked for all 3 girls to have pedis they said ok. I asked that since it was my daughters birthday to please take her first, they once again said ok. First they took the other 2 girls then left her waiting. They rushed to get them done and I guess they feel that since they are 12-13 year olds you don't have to do a good job. They literally globed on the polish so much that her cuticles were covered so was half her toes. When I showed her it she basically treated me like crap and was talking crap the whole time she had to fix it. I'm so disappointed, what a way to show you don't care. THIS WAS THE WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I have been doing Nexgen on my nails for over 5 years (NOT AT THIS PLACE), my nails have always been very healthy, even the owner commented how healthy my nails were, while I was having the Nexgen removed by someone else. I went in here for a quick manicure. The person that removed the Nexgen off my nails DID NOT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING! She used the wrong drill and completely destroyed my nails, it feels like she removed a layer of my nails because it hurts when I touch them. Additionally, the actual manicure was a complete disaster, I had to re-polish my nails at home and they over charged me! The manicure was suppose to be $10 but they charged me $17. I never go anywhere else to get my nails done. I get acrylic with Andy. He is the best! Just tell him what you want, and he will do it for you. I found with other places the acrylics never come out the way you want them to, but not with Andy. I always leave satisfied. I think it's new ownership, much better than my previous experience. Prices are competitive and they work well and quickly.

My review of this salon is not about quality of work. My review is about cleanliness and customer service. I have been a client for 3 years. I am tired of the dirt and grime, I stopped getting wax because the wax room is so dirty every single corner baseboard wall the door, counter is just dirty and looks like it has not had a real cleaning in years. For three years I have witnessed the management treat targeted employees very poorly, including management trying to book me with appointments with other women when they know I am the client of one specific technician. Once a tech left the door bath water running and was brought to tears by her boss. Often I observed customers ignored or spoken to what I would call rudely or dismiss once when they enter the business. When those customers walk out, Mimi had a disparaging eye roll or comment instead of observing what might be wrong and correcting course. Those moments are very uncomfortable. I have also heard the managers talk about customers negatively while they are in the salon. There are a lot of nail salons in Boca Raton... i'm choosing to leave the salon because of their cleanliness and poor treatment of select employees who are not in the family as well as intermittently mean-girl customer service. I hate to post a negative review on a business and I sure hope they will change. read more

This pleace is perfect if you want fast nice looking nails without paying an arm and a leg. I got of work at 650 and they close at 7 so I called and the owner said he'd have someone stay and do my nails!! I flew out to NY the next morning and needed my nails done for a wedding. Great job!! This place was great! Usually I cringe when they're trimming your feet (cuticles and such) but she didn't hurt me and it was fabulous! Got a regular pedi and they fit me in 45 min before closing. Very relaxing pedicure and super friendly technicians! Will come here again. Priced very well for Boca. Happy girl! read more

Phenomenal is my Experience Bringing 5 Stars + a Glass of Wine! I was treated like a Queen with my Deluxe Pedicure and NextGen Nails. My close friend Diane from my synagogue Chabad Boca recommended me to the manager Mimi for my nails and Helen for a facial and eye lashes. First to start i have say that I have been to many nail salons in the area such as in Delray and a little tiny shop close by and i have say that I was not happy. I made an appointment with Mimi for dip powder healthy nails called NextGen. They were mod busy but took me within 5 mins and did my Pedicure first. The deluxe is amazing. My girl found me a color match perfectly to my chosen dip color. The massage felt like it lasted for days. I'm on my feet allot so the extended leg and feet massage was great, Ohh and they give you a glass of wine too! Mimi is so talented my friend Diane was right! She can shape a nail naturally like no other. I have an event and needed to match my nails to my dress. They came out PERFECT! The Girls here are very nice and thoughtful. Other places were not clean and were very rude, not here very sanitary. I can tell they care about what they are doing. Helen gave me a great Facial, i feel fresh, relaxed and new. Place is amazing and most importantly follows COVID protocols very well. They did an excellent job to accommodate the safety and well being of the customer. Each chair pedicure/massage chair is protected by a barrier from the one next to it, the manicure stations have the dividers to help prevent germs being spread from face to face. Nail techs and staff are amazing and do excellent work. My gf had Mimi do her nails and the gel lasted well over 2 weeks, which I usually take this lovely woman to get her nails done a lot but she couldn't stop raving at how much of an excellent job they did here and how long her gel manicure lasted. Now as for me I got the volcanic pedicure if I'm not mistaken I believe that was the name of it. I'm a server so I'm always on my feet but do love to get my pedicures done but mainly for the massage part of it lol. Overall great experience, very clean and professional environment and def will be returning. And was informed that if we had any issues with any of the service to just talk to the manager Mimi and she will do her best to make sure we leave happy and satisfied! I have been going to this place for about three years. I only was having pedicure done never my nails. I saw different people every time I went in, but sometimes I would ask for the same person because they good. I went in last October to have my nails done, I had tips put on. I did this twice and then went back and did the next gen. I really like how the came out. I was going for about seven months every three weeks with Tracey. The last few times I went in the nails were not coming out right. They always had marks on the nails. The last time I went in, I had appointment I always maid appointment when I went in. I was being rushed so she could go and do someone pedicure that had walk in. That pissed me off, I left and went to the store near there, I could not stand the way my nails looked so I went back in. The manager said I will fix them. All she did was buff them a little and put the top coat on again. They still looked awful. I don't go there anymore I am at a new place called lucky nails in Boca. They are awesome, I never feel rushed and they look ten times better. They also have over 300 hundred colors, the other place had 20. I will never go back again. read more

Come here a couple of times but its always as a last resort, I have a hectic schedule so when my favorites (like pour and polish) are busy I come here. This time tho I was treated so poorly for being a walk-in (that wasn't getting gels) it was weird and I'll never come back in again. The first guy told me no wait and then when someone came in for a walk-in they told me I would have to wait, when I asked how long, she said 5 min, after that she continued to talked to the guy (in English) about how if im a walk-in i have to understand and wait and so on and so on, by this time, I've already painted my entire fingers in a rainbow of colors to decide on which one I like and felt it was too late to leave. She was so rude to me, and her employee, the first guy I saw when I went in.
