The small seating area with couch and a small dining table with 4 chairs was between the bedrooms in front of the bathroom. The kitchenette included a medium sized fridge/freezer and sink with a Keurig coffee maker. It would have been better if they added a small microwave as well, I felt it was the only thing missing. My room with the balcony facing the street also had a wireless charger and sound machine. What a great touch. My friend took the front bedroom with the view of the pool. Both bedrooms had TVs and ceiling fans. The robes were also perfect! I brought my own hotel slippers. Pool area lacked a little bit more of shade but that's a personal preference. It's so nice that the pool and hot tub was open 24/7! The pool bar is so nice to have for a smaller resort like this. It definitely made our experience better! We didn't get to try the restaurant on site but will definitely check it out next time because we're already planning our next stay! Shout out to Sierra for being such a sweet hostess!

Based on the photos, it didn't appear…read moreto be a place we needed to be particularly concerned about--it looked like it would at least meet the basic necessities for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the experience was far below even those expectations. After a long drive, we arrived for check-in and were told that the AC in our suite was not working and that we would instead be placed in separate rooms. Since we were traveling together, we were not comfortable being separated. The front desk associate was also extremely rude and told us that because the manager had moved us, she could not place us in another room comparable to what we originally booked. She said the only option was separate one-bedroom rooms. We asked to speak with the manager, and once he became involved, he immediately instructed the front desk to put us into another room--apparently a two-bedroom room was available after all. I'm still not sure why we were initially told that wasn't an option. Unfortunately, the problems continued once we got into the room. I found visible stains on the sheets, and there was a large, dark footprint on one of the supposedly fresh towels. I have stayed in hotels, Airbnbs, and even on cruise ships, and I have never experienced a situation where the basic linens provided were visibly dirty. I immediately reported the sheets and towel to the staff. When the sheets were finally replaced, the replacement set was also dirty. At that point, I gave up and slept on top of the sheet rather than continuing to ask for replacements. They also only provided one sheet, so I had to wear additional clothes that I had packed with my pajamas just to stay warm. The response time was also frustrating. It took roughly an hour from when the issue was reported for someone to come replace the sheets. I also saw the staff member carrying the linens by hand rather than using a cart, and the linens appeared to be coming up from the stairs, which did not exactly give me confidence in the cleanliness or handling of the bedding. Then there was the hot water--or lack thereof. We essentially had COLD WATER for our showers. This was not an isolated issue; other members of our group staying at the property experienced the same problem. Over our three-to-four-day stay, there was maybe one hot shower available between the three of us. Hot water is a basic expectation at a hotel, and having consistently cold showers was completely unacceptable. I previously worked in property management, and a lack of hot water would be treated as an emergency maintenance issue. That made it even more concerning to see this treated as though it were a minor inconvenience. I have stayed at properties throughout the U.S. and internationally, as well as on cruise ships, and I have never experienced this combination of issues during a stay. We dealt with a room change due to broken AC, dirty sheets, dirty towels, inadequate linen replacement, extremely slow response to a cleanliness issue, and essentially no hot water. This was supposed to be a birthday weekend, and instead, we spent a significant portion of the stay dealing with issues that should have been resolved before guests ever entered the room. The experience fell well below what I consider basic hotel standards, and I would not choose to stay here again.

My main motivation for visiting was the pools & lazy river, which absolutely delivered. The resort area was clean and sparkling, however if I had to be picky, the women's bathroom in the pool area could have definitely been checked and cleaned more often. The music playlist in the resort was perfect and upbeat with your classic party hits, and there was enough room/chairs/tables for all of the guests to enjoy a spot in the outdoor area (we were able to get lounge chairs right in front of the lazy river both days). I made my food/drinks/eats/dining reviews separately in respect to each restaurant in the Morongo that I ate at, which were all extremely positive! I absolutely loved the selection and range of options the Morongo had to offer when it comes to dining- check out my other reviews! The casino was admittedly very fun, and I am not big on gambling nor slot machine games. I found a few machines I loved playing and found the environment very enjoyable. Very nice selection and wide range of options in the casino area for everyone to enjoy! On top of that, I appreciated the hospitality and service of the employees and security at the Morongo, I felt safe and welcome and would absolutely love to return soon!!

My friends and I rented a cabana one night and really enjoyed the experience so we invited more friends and rent a cabana the following Friday. So we arrived go through the check in process as usual. As the lifeguard walked us to the cabana, we walked past the number I was originally told I was booked for and I saw people in there and it was taped off still. In my mind I thought that was odd but I also don't work there. So I was like maybe they're getting people checked in. As the night go on. I notice a crowd of people and workers touching our stuff in the cabana so I approached them. I asked if I can ask them if I can help them. The staff in blue immediately started questioning me about booking and who is the name under. I gave them the information. They seem disorganized and that they did not want to ask the other people in the other cabana about the bookings especially after me explaining this is where we was put and I explained it was tapped off. It was either they double booked or someone was there that didn't belong. It didn't take me long to figure it out. I complained about the pizza at this time as well. They said they will bring us another. So we left the pizza in there. About hour later I asked our waitress and she said they were making a fresh one. Right before midnight I asked about the pizza again and now she said oh we are just gonna issue you a refund. Like girl what?!?! I've been starving waiting on fresh pizza that was not even coming like what's really going on. Last night was our 5th time coming so the quality of the pizza was based on previous times I have came. Then the waitress said to wait in the cabana for the supervisor to come speak with us. As were waiting the officer Alex Perez i believe his name was rushing us and called the front. He said that he was told because we were being "aggressive" that we need to go to the front and speak to the supervisor we all looked confused so we were like ok lets go. We speak to the supervisor and he was not aware. One thing I can say is that the officers may need racial and ethics training or a refresher. I find it strange they rushed all of one ethnic group out their cabanas but another ethnic group were still in the cabanas chilling and not being told to leave. I tried to go back to the cabana we were in to see if the receipt was in there so they can issue the refund and the officers were giving me a hard time mindwhile other people were just chilling in their cabana not being told to get out or anything. Literally the officer was flashing his light at us and standing at our cabana until we left but others were given the same treatment. I get it, people want to wrap up for the night and be off. But if Customer service was addressed when the issue was presented then we would've left promptly and not spend an extra 20-30 mins. Find people who want to work the overtime.

Some of my family members weren't able to attend my event bc they spent 40+ minutes driving around. I would definitely recommend getting there early or ride sharing, or maybe hosting your event later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. It was also pretty warm. They do have air conditioning, but since it's an indoor/outdoor space, it's hard to keep the cold air in. It's not the venue's fault for the hot and humid weather we have been experiencing though.
