It was my first time hiring a catering service, and it was for my destination wedding. Tony, the owner, was very patient and kind, he guided me through the process and explained to me everything I needed to know, from what to get from a rental company to who to book for bartending. He's worked with a lot of different vendors in the area, and he recommended the good ones! The day of the event was no less amazing with John, the event manager, being so attentive in making sure everything ran smoothly, and he made sure we were fed! The food was so good, from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad and the main courses. Even the pickiest eater at the wedding complimented on the food! The best service and dinner we have ever had. I have never written a Yelp review before, but I feel it's the least I can do to just say "Thank you". My wife and I searched for a few weeks to find a private chef for a gathering in Pam Springs with 20 of our friends as a way to celebrate our wedding with our bridal party since COVID changed our other plans. When I came across Fusion Flair, I sent an email asking for a quote/details and received a response back within 15 minutes from Tony, the owner & event planner. We then got on the phone and within 5 minutes, my wife and I whispered to each other "we are for sure using them!". From here, Tony helped craft the menu for our event and answered all our questions quickly. Given the service we received to that point, we we're very excited for the dinner, yet somehow it turned out even more amazing than we imagined. The staff showed up and just took over setting up the event how we wanted, which allowed us to go back continue hanging with our friends. Then, the appetizers, main course, and dessert came, and good lord, it was so ridiculously good. Throughout this time, the staff was incredibly kind, fun, engaging (poured drinks, took pictures, etc) and overall, just amazing. Again, we did this event because our wedding didn't work out the way we wanted, but I can honestly say this experience and just how fun and delicious it was, helped us feel like we got everything we wanted. Wow. Everything about this experience was perfect. I've never done a catered event like this but I did a cocktail pre wedding reception for 65 - 70 people. Tony took me through the process. We had picked out 7 appetizers and 2 desserts. Favorites were the Noodles on a box, Grand Mariner Shrimp, pork Empanadas...Everything is made fresh and finished at our location 2 hours before start. Tony also came to the home a week prior to check out our layout and advise. Servers were great and very professional... they cleaned up, provided ice service for an additional $50 (well worth it). All I basically had to do was enjoy the reception. I received rave reviews from the guests and lots of emails about how wonderful the food was (and servers)... probably more expensive than others but you definitely get your money's worth with Fusion Flair. The moment my mom and I met Tony and Chef Heng in the desert a year ago we knew we met our wedding caterer! We had a list of ones to try-- however were sold after meeting Fusion Flair. The whole experience was AMAZING. If I could choose ten stars, I would. We recently had Fusion Flair cater our daughter's destination wedding in Palm Springs and the food was amazing! We worked with Tony and Chef Heng to define the menus for appetizers, a spectacular dinner and for brunch the following morning. After the flawless tasting trial in October, our daughter started telling guests to bring their stretchy pants because the food was going to be delicious! Fusion Flair did not disappoint. Even when the weather threw us a curveball (rain), Fusion Flair worked with our venue to adjust plans and made it all turn out grand. Fusion Flair catered my wedding last month and we loved them. We had called around to multiple caterers for prices and sample menus, Fusion Flair gave us some fantastic options with really reasonable prices. We selected 8 hor d'oeuvres to be tray passed for our back yard reception. We had mushroom turnovers, tofu satay, eggplant crostini, fried wontons, dandan noodles, meatballs, shrimp, and chicken. We are vegetarian and so are several of our friends. Everyone at the party was satisfied with the food - meat-eaters and vegetarians. Talking to friends as we see them after our honeymoon we have had many compliments on the food - people loved it! The staff were amazing. The 5 star is on Tony's professionalism, dedication and attention to detail. I was shopping around for wedding caterers and Fusion Flair's great yelp rating stood out to me. After all the other caterers took a few days getting back to me via Email, Tony took the time out of his busy schedule to call me right away the next day. He wanted to make sure he understood what we were looking for, which doesn't always come out clearly on Email exchanges. I was so lucky to get a referral to Fusion Flair from an event planner in Palm Springs. My husband and I rented a house there for a group of close friends so we could celebrate my 70th birthday in Palm Springs style. Fusion Flair provided the personal-chef multi-course dinner for 6 that was the highlight of our week. Just a few emails and phone calls with Tony got us to a fabulous menu and beverage plan. I can not say enough about Fusion Flair. Everything was absolutely perfect. Tony replied was very responsive to all of our requests within our group. My friends and I were meeting in Palm Springs for a much needed long weekend (we all quarantined for 14 days before). It was on of our friend's birthday and we thought that this would be a great way to celebrate. Of course, a couple of days before we got there, California went back under quarantine. Tony was great though and offered to have Chef Heng cook all the food and drop it off. Every single dish was spectacular. The spring rolls, Grand Marnier jumbo shrimp and chicken satay were the highlights of our appetizers. For the main course we all had the filet mignon with chimichurri sauce. This was probably one the of the best filet mignons I have ever had. You could cut it with a plastic fork. I only ate half of mine that night and heated the other half in the microwave the next day. I'm not even kidding, it was just as good and I could still cut it with the plastic fork. To top it all off, we requested a cake for my friends birthday and they went above the top with a delicious cake that was decorated perfectly for our dinner. All of our other vendors would get so excited when we told them we were using Fusion Flair as our caterer, and they were right to hold them in such high regards! After searching and "interviewing" many Palm Springs based caterers, Fusion Flair came out on top, based on quality of their food, price point, and very thoughtful management. There are many large caterers in the area, but Fusion Flair feels like a very well run, small family business. Tony and Chef are very friendly and adapted our menu multiple times based on our ideas. They were also very professional, and their staff was top notch on the wedding day. One of the best parts of using Fusion Flair is the portions. Everyone said that the appetizers were so good and plentiful compared to other weddings they had been to. We also got rave reviews on the salad and entrees served. The waitstaff did a great job with timing the dishes and keeping drinks flowing. The Fusion Flair team helped to contribute to a wonderful evening. Our only regret is that we did not get to interact with Chef and Tony much on the wedding day, but that is because they are such a well oiled machine, they were in and out without issue. read more

I hired Fusion Flair to cater my parents' 50th anniversary party at a rental home in La Quinta. Tony was informative and helpful all throughout the planning process and created a menu that was exactly what we were looking for, even including a kids' menu. Chef Heng arrived on time and he and Paul were extremely friendly and got right to work. The passed appetizers were so delicious, especially the shrimp, and plenty to go around. Chef was very patient waiting for us to be ready for dinner to be served as we were running a bit behind schedule.
