In the Coachella Valley everyone has "the best" of "anything" and "everything" when it comes to recommendations, but the reviews people are willing to spend the time writing always tell a tale. No one takes time to write about the "most mediocre dinner I ever had, it was just what I ordered." NO! It's either the VERY BEST and you want to shout it from the rooftops, or it was so incredibly bad that it is worth ruining a company's online reputation... in turn, ruining their in-person reputation. I have never been to an event and thought, "Oh, I can't wait to write about this and tell everyone I know!" UNTIL NOW... For the past several weeks I have been assisting a friend in planning a private party to celebrate her 25th Anniversary with a 50-Person Guest List. We interviewed several caterers, all with 5-Star reviews, all with something they felt they brought to the table that others didn't, but of the several we spoke to, Chef Jeff was the one we both immediately felt drawn to. He doesn't have a gimmick, he wasn't set on steering us away from the the menu we asked for, as was the case with the others. He didn't bat an eye at our request for "filet & lobster," but rather, he elevated it to the most incredible filet and lobster pairing one will ever taste. That was a big deal for my friend, as it was what was served at their wedding reception 25-years ago. Although we explained the importance of the dish to the other caterers, each of them found a way of saying the dish was "played out," and their suggestions drew us farther and farther away from the vision. From the very start he took our suggestions and elevated them into a menu that dreams are made of. As the event got closer every single vendor gave us a reason to worry that it wouldn't come together in time, but not Jeff. He has such a calm demeanor and not once did we feel he had lost site of the vision we had created together. Last Saturday was THE DAY and, as expected, Jeff arrived at the exact time he said he would . He brought everything he needed, and he even provided the catering staff, who were all as equally calm and put together as their Chef. They were all professional, with warm smiles. You don't get stuffy uptight service with his team. It's obvious that his catering staff respects him and has been with him for a while, as they all work in tandem with one another in perfect harmony. Chef Jeff was great to work with and all of his suggestions fit the vision perfectly. Even with his responsibilities of manning the kitchen, ensuring his staff stayed on task, and of feeding 50 Guests, he still managed to keep the dinner on schedule, but never hesitated when someone asked for his assistance. As much as I would like to keep this gem all to myself, I would be doing a disservice to my peers if I don't share it with you all. Everyone raved about the food, from start to finish, and I have already shared his information with a handful of people from the dinner that are hoping to book him for their upcoming events, and we learned that several of the local attendees have hired his for their events in the past and continue to use his services regularly. For your next event, big or small, Chef Jeff of Jordan's Creative Catering is truly "the best" - but he doesn't need me to sell you on it - he's got that covered all on his own. read more

I'm so thankful I found Chef Jeff for my best friend's bachelorette party in Indio. He was so easy to work with - very flexible with budget and menu - and extremely dependable. He was great about following up with me, showed up right on time, and created such an awesome fiesta bar experience. Not to mention the food was out of this world delicious!! Our group was raving about the dinner - everyone agreed it was their favorite part of the whole trip and they are all still talking about the tequila chocolate churro sauce. I also have to shout out Christina who was simply fabulous. Thank you, Jeff and Christina, and I hope I get the chance to work with you again! read more

Another wonderful event with Chef Jeff and his amazing team Assistant Chef Owen, Christina and Denise. They set up while we were at the graduation ceremony, and 25 of us came home to an amazing spread of smoked chicken, ribs, and tri-tip. Sides of cucumber& tomato salad, pasta salad and grilled vegetables made it perfect. Our guests are still raving about the BBQ sauce and service provided by Jeff's team. Thank you for making our graduation party absolutely perfect! read more

His assistant, Cristina is a gem of a person, too. I highly recommend them. We had a Mexican buffet dinner complete with margaritas, empanadas, enchiladas, rice and beans just to name a few items. We went to Palm Springs area for my wife's 40th bday and our original caterer cancelled a week prior. I found Jeff & team, and he made arrangements with his team to make it work and stay within in my budget. The food & service was amazing, the staff was EXCELLENT. Of the 16 adults, each person felt the special attention and we didn't have to lift one finger. Highly recommended, hands down I will be calling Jeff when I come back to visit. read more

Above and Beyond! In every way. Chef Jeffrey was so easy to work with, very accommodating and his menu selections are varied and unique. Now for the food! Nothing short of delicious - from the Appetizers to Dessert. His assistant is also excellent - serving drinks and appetizers, cleaning up and doing whatever is asked of her. They leave your kitchen cleaner than they found it! It's five star service and food at a very reasonable cost! I highly recommend Jordan's Creative Catering Service! read more

Had a great time hiring Jeff and team for a catered brunch. Reasonable prices and flexible with the menu. His assistants Christina and Lorenzo were awesome! From setting up, to cooking and cleaning. They left the place better than when they arrived in the morning. I paid for an extra server to help make sure everybody was getting dishes served, mimosas and screwdrivers poured. It was an awesome touch that everybody enjoyed. Would definitely recommend! read more

Went to a good friend's wedding and the food was amazing. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts 10/10. I would highly recommend !

Jeff and his team did a beautiful job on our rehearsal dinner for 16 last week. His communication throughout the process was timely and helpful. I had contacted Jeff in February as I started researching chefs. When I re-initiated contact in August to firm up plans he knew right where we left off and still had our event on his calendar even though I had not signed a contract. They were on time and prepared a beautiful Asian inspired meal. It helped set the tone for a truly magical weekend. My daughter and her boyfriend (who are at the age where they are on the wedding circuit right now - attending numerous friends' weddings in the past couple of years) said Jeff's food was part of the best food they had ever had at a wedding/related event! Highly recommend!! read more

Great communication and flexibility with many menu items to choose from. Food was really flavorful and prepared to perfection - was asked how "done" we wanted our fish by Chef Jeff prior to cooking it and it was exactly how we had requested. The server we had, Lorenzo, did a fantastic job. Washed all wine tasting glassware in between tastings and kept the flow moving. Preparation was efficient and organized, food was fresh and fantastic both texturally and to taste, the quantity of food was generous and more than we could eat - but great leftovers! Do make sure you obtain a final proposal with stated menu and serving fees to ensure everything is as expected. You won't be disappointed!! read more

We hired Chef Jeff to cook an in-home meal for a bachelorette party for 13 ladies. The food was good and the price was great. They were quick to contact me and set-up the dinner. The price was also the best quoted for what we wanted. The food list was quite extensive so we definitely had a lot of good things to choose from. We had two servers to assist throughout the dinner.our dinner consisted of 3 tray passed apps, salad, filet entreé, garlic mashed potatoes, veggies and a chocolate cake. Chef Jeff was able to easily accommodate our two vegetarians and the others who had dietary restrictions. They cleaned up kitchen and washed all of the dishes before they left. Very professional group with very good food. read more

Chef Jeff and his staff prepared and served 10 appetizers and a beautiful table of fruits and vegetables with sauces. All of them were as amazing as the last! It was so fresh and delicious! Having server's pass around the appetizers to our guests was awesome with a group of 70, so that all mingled around and enjoyed each other. This was for my husband's 70th birthday, and it couldn't have been better. Everything was perfect. This was our 2nd party with Chef Jeff and his staff, and both were amazing. Thank you again! We will have you back again!! Chef Jeff is so easy to work with and always serves great food! Sorry, we forgot to take pictures!! read more

Jeff and his assistant were phenomenal. They catered us Sunday Brunch for my bachelorette for 15 of my guests. All my guests were so impressed and grateful with the service and as well of how delicious the food was. They provided everything from setting up, cooking, to picking up afterwards and leaving us the delicious leftovers. This was our first time traveling out to the city of Indio and getting a Chef for a day and honestly I am glad I went with the reviews I read on here. Chef Jeff stayed in communication with me till the day of the trip. We went back and forth on the menu and accommodated me on everything. If we plan another trip out to the area we will definitely be getting his service again. read more

Chef Jeff and his server,Christina, were AMAZING!! I called Jeff 2 days before our event and he stepped up to the challenge of creating a menu with me that met all my expectations. Being a foodie myself and hosting parties and events for my friends/family on a regular basis - I was worried Jeff was gonna fire me for my detailed requests. But he was so gracious and really took the time to make sure my brother's 50th turned out so special- just as we wanted it to be! He was honest about the limited availability of ingredients in Palm Desert and quickly came up with alternatives. He and Christina showed up on time, wore their PPE throughout the night and the rest of the evening went so smoothly! They're very professional yet personable and did everything with a smile .My family already made plans to hire him again in May for a graduation party. Thanks, Chef Jeff! read more

I hired Jeff to cater eight meals for our group of 24 adults--5 breakfasts and 3 dinners. We were getting together for a reunion at a large house in Bermuda Dunes near Palm Springs. Everyone in the group was very pleased with Jeff and his staff and the meals he prepared for us. In all my dealings with Jeff, he was extremely prompt and professional, sending me detailed menus and a price breakdown for each meal. He was on time, had the meals ready exactly when we asked for them, and was enjoyable to have around. Jeff was very easy going and accommodating, key ingredients for a relaxing time! He and his staff cleaned up afterwards, leaving the leftovers for us to have for lunches. All staff members were very efficient and friendly. The meals were delicious and well presented, with chaffing dishes to keep them hot. A variety of items were always included to please every taste. It was great to come down every morning and have the coffee made and just relax on the patio with each other while Jeff and his staff finished preparing our breakfast. The cut-up fruit was always fresh, and the variety provided made sure there was something everyone liked. My favorite dinner was our Mexican meal. We had a variety of tacos, with the carne asada being especially good. Everyone in our group was very pleased with Jeff and the meals he catered for us. I highly recommend him! (Note--the pictures include an abbreviated description of four of the menus, abbreviated due to space limitations.) read more

This is long overdue, but Jeff and his team catered our wedding last year. We had to keep postponing due to covid, but after 2 years we finally were able to have the event. The food was excellent and just as we ordered. Many people commented on how good it was, and at how fabulous the staff was as well, very helpful, courteous, and went over and above expectations. We did a Mexican theme buffet style, also passed appetizers. Everything went very smoothly, I would definitely recommend Jeff and his team. We had 80 people at the event. read more

Jeff and his team were amazing! We used his services for a private dining experience at a Bachelorette party at a rental home. They showed up right on time, and were extremely friendly and tidy throughout the whole set up process. They even poured us shots while appetizers were prepared, and make sure the entire area was clean, not just the items they brought. The meal was absolutely delicious--my personal favorites were the strawberry goat cheese salad and the filet, which was perfectly tender and juicy. The chocolate torte for dessert was also so decadent! I would highly recommend Jeff and his team for any dining experience! read more

Wow!! I almost don't want to leave a review because I want Chef Jeff to always be available when I need him! From start to finish, I had the best time working with Jeff. We discussed menu ideas, and he was incredible with planning our menu...even with the picky eaters I warned him about. The menu Chef put together was absolutely outstanding. One of the best meals I've had in a loooong time! I don't know how he was able to create such a masterpiece in our budget, but I plan to use him every time we come back to the desert. We got so many compliments, everyone LOVED the food. Jeff catered my wedding at the Corona Yacht Club in November and we chose him for his good communication and follow-through, reasonable prices, and years of experience. He had also done so many previous events and weddings at our venue, I knew he could pull it off. Jeff met us a couple times to go over menu and to walk the venue and it was clear he knew what he was doing. I really have to compliment Jeff on his communication leading up to the wedding, I won't bother working with someone who can't get back to me on things, Jeff was always quick about getting back to me. I highly recommend him, and his staff was wonderful too. I honestly feel like we got a lot of food for our money. I'd use him in the future and will recommend him to others. read more
