Meg and Dave are incredible. The food was delicious. We are plant based and they made the yummiest plant based meal for us. We were 7 people and everyone loved everything that created. They came in with rolling carts, some food prepared, brought all their own cooking utensils, served everything to the table and then cleaned up behind themselves and did all the dishes. I can't wait to have them back again. Ohhh, and they are cool as well. read more

Priscilla handled catering for a party of about 40 people. From the first contact she was responsive and on the ball. We had a menu and a contract within a couple days. First Class Catering is really First Class!! The Mediterranean dinner this past Friday night for my husband's 60th birthday was above and beyond expectations! Priscilla and Rubin were excellent with set up, service, and clean up. The chef was on hand to make sure all was prepared and that we loved everything. From start to finish, it went off without a hitch. Thank you so much for a fabulous passed appetizer cocktail hour to dinner service. Our guests were very happy and satisfied. Highly recommend First Class Catering! I had attended parties catered by them before, but used them for our party of 76 people. Cameron was a pleasure to work with and offered his expertise in planning exactly what I needed. We chose the Mexican menu: chicken fajitas, cheese enchiladas, black beans, rice, salad, mixed vegetables, flour and corn tortillas, and a condiment bar. We had plenty of food for everybody and then some. The guests agreed the food was delicious. Not only was the food amazing but the servers were as well. They were very professional and friendly and left the kitchen area spotless. Cameron is a great communicator and checked in with me several times before the party to make sure we were all set. You will be happy you chose this business for your catering needs! read more

First Class was exactly what the name implies! We had them cater an elopement celebration and the service was even better than we expected! As hosts we didn't need to lift a finger and were able to enjoy time with our guests. The food was raved about and they helped us put together a menu that was perfect for different diet restrictions. The table service was impeccable and they even served the bride and groom even though it was family style...probably knew we wouldn't take time to eat! They cleaned everything which made the evening even better. THANK YOU SO MUCH Michael, Mariah, and team! read more

Michael Alcantar is an exceptional professional. As my previous review explained he was our caterer for my mother's celebration of life in June. He not only provided it but delivered it. His attention to detail and his follow through and superior customer service was exceptional. The cake was a hit and the birthday was wonderful. If I could give First Class Catering 10 stars, I would. We had a party of 50 serving Mediterranean cuisine. The menu consisted of appetizers of zucchini medallions, truffle herb goat cheese crostini and spanakopita. All were excellent. The main course was Greek salad, shrimp and chicken kabobs and rice pilaf. The attention to detail was unsurpassed. Hi Michael, I can't stop thinking about how amazing you, the staff, and the food was. And my guests can't stop talking about it as well!! It was a hit!! I'm so thankful for you and for everything that you did. It was spectacular!!! You are truly a kind, gentle, caring human, and it means the world to me that you we got to work with you on our most special of days! Thank you! -side note- we live in Texas and booked EVERY vendor site unseen, food untasted, and Michael put me at incredible ease and went above and beyond what I expected! The food was sooooo delicious!!! My family who is full of foodies can not stop talking about it. I asked everyone what there thoughts for and they said it was really good! My photographer came up to us and bragged about it after she ate. I personally got full on the appetizers (which usually doesn't happen to the bride..right?!) but the ceviche was yummy, and the peppers were so so soooo yummy and I LOVED the spice on them!! Whoa! Three of my favorites, spice, seafood, and cheese!!!! I had three of those bad boys! The enchiladas and The meat could have been a little warmer. I think it's because we were the first to be served. I asked our roommate that was in the last table to get his food and he said it was perfect temperature. The guacamole was so tasty and so were all the other salsas!! And the Sonora hotdogs!!! What a dream!! Everyone loved them!!!!!!!! We were talking about everyone behaving themselves and I think the hotdogs and coffee really helped with that!! Your staff was incredible!! We had such a great time with Nancy, Teresa, and Frank! Nancy and Teresa went above and beyond to take care of everyone and even made sure the flower girl and the ring bearer were taken care of!! My cousin, who is the ring bearer's mom said "that wasn't a part of their job, but they both checked on this kiddos several times!!!" They were above and beyond loving to everyone. They were like our little fairy godmothers . Frank was amazing as well!! He took care of every guest and always did every with a smile! He was so fast too! Everyone was!! Your other staff was fantastic!! They all made sure our needs were met!! We would book you again and again for every event we had! I wish we lived closer. Please let us know if you ever come to Austin! Much love and blessings! - a VERY pleased bride! read more

I attended my friends wedding reception held at the Legacy Villas Resort in La Quinta this past weekend and was so impressed with the food that I asked my friend to give me the details of the caterer there since I'm looking to get a caterer for my upcoming nuptials and I was surprised to learn it was an outside caterer that they used. She said she used First Class Catering. I was impressed on how great everything tasted and the presentation was beautiful. I was most impressed by how attentive the staff was to make sure all of us guests were taken care of. When we were leaving it was like they didn't even have a party with how clean everything looked. First Class Catering did a superb job catering for a Celebration of Life. They were sensitive and caring. Michael and team were very responsive to all my questions and worked with me to provide the right choices for the event. He even came out to my home to do a "walk thru" so we could discuss placement of the serving tables, both inside/out. The 3 servers arrived promptly 2 hrs ahead of the beginning of the event to set up, as did the bartender. The food was wonderful, and all the guests commented on the quality and quantity of the food. They cleaned everything up during the event and promptly at the conclusion. I would definitely recommend and use First Class Catering again. Thank you so much Michael and team! Awesome catering service. Incredible food.

Can't say enough good things about Michael and First-Class Catering. They know what they are doing and are extremely professional. A succesful event is truly important to them so they will go out of their way to make that happen even if it means coordinating with other vendors to make sure things are taken care of even outside of catering. Good people, and GREAT food. Highly recommend. read more

Michael provided excellent service and we had nothing but compliments about the food and service. I missed out on the appetizers because of pictures but my sister says she went back 3 times and there was plenty for everyone. The buffet looked wonderful and the food was delicious and even the kids Mac n cheese was delicious. I had people tell me they hate quinoa who raved about his quinoa salad! We were surprised we had a nice amount of food leftover which the staff packaged for us. Michael was so great to work with and even texted me the morning of event to say he was bringing extra cases of mini waters for my bartenders although I had said I'd provide all the drinks. And we ended up needing them. I can't thank him enough!!! His staff was professional, came early, kept the buffet food warm throughout dinner and I highly recommend them. read more

5 starts and beyond to Chef Michael and his Team for the most incredible event. I found Michael through Yelp and contacted him for a quote in addition to 8 other catering services in Palm Springs for a dinner of 500 people. Michael was the only caterer I felt really, truly cared about how we were going to properly execute this hefty dinner at the Palm Springs Air Museum. What won me over, was how detail oriented he was. It really is true- the devil is in the details. If I had a caterer who cared about them as much as I did, then I knew I had a great partner to tackle this event with me. From day one, Michael was phenomenal with communication. I flew down for a site visit and Michael met me, created a beautiful menu with our dietary restrictions, worked with the rental company and worked on our site layout. I always came away with our conversations less stressed and grateful that I had found someone so amazing. Day of, we are seated for 500 people and Michael and his Team blew me away with how creative, on-time, professional and hard working they were. One fun detail that I so appreciated was that this dinner was for the hop industry with brewery industry affiliates so Michael created beer mugs, in which the labels for each dish were presented. Presentation for all of the food was gorgeous. I wanted food that was elevated and worthy of a great event. What Michael's Team was even better. They provided elevated food that married the flavors of home, that were comforting, welcoming and beautifully executed. Michael and I had so many guests coming up to us, thankful for a great meal. When you're stuck in conferences all day, you want food that just transports you back home and sometimes, elevates your idea of familiar flavors. It couldn't have been more perfect. Big Thanks to Michael, Nancy, Frank and the rest of the Team for an amazing job. Thank you for helping to make our event so successful. Next time I'm planning an event in Palm Springs, you're the first person I'm calling! Fondly, Rachel Becker read more

First Class Catering Service exceeded our expectations for my son's wedding at the Lazy C Ranch, a working dude ranch, north of Palm Springs. Thank you Michael Alcantar for the delicious Mexican food, timely delivery and set-up and the great communication regarding our order. We loved everything and we had more than enough for our 70 guests. I don't know what I liked best, probably the chicken fajitas and guacamole. I would highly recommend you to anyone planning a caterer event. Thank you again! I am so glad to have found you. Tyra read more

Fist class catering is the perfect name for Michael Alcantar and crew. Michael was one of six companies I considered to cater an event for my wife's 50th birthday. I requested a quote for a catered dinner for 30 and a brunch the following day. Michael was the only one who responded in under an hour and came in right on budget. Not to mention the he handles everything from A to Z. All requests and changes were handled very quickly. The day of the event Michael and his team arrived right on time and exceeded all expectations. The food was amazing, people are still talking about the tri-tip and it's been 2 weeks since the event. The next morning right on time Michael delivered and setup brunch. It was amazing. If you have an event in the Palm Springs area First Class Catering Is the company for you. As for me, my family, and friends we will use Michael for any and all future events while in Palm Springs. Thank you First Class Catering and Michael Alcantar for helping to create a weekend to remember. read more

So I found out that this company was responsible for the AMAZING meal I had at Desert Trip. When was the last time you had great food at a large venue? Sure, the restricted access lounges have great food, but are you going to write about it on yelp? I was hanging out with friends deciding what to eat and we hear what sounds like a couple having sex. Of course, we look. They're sharing a plate. I ask what it is and they tell me paella. I look over and see the sign. How there wasn't a line a mile long, I'll never understand. To have that quality made in large batches is incredibly impressive. When I have occasion to hire a caterer, choosing one will be the easiest decision I've ever made. And likely the best. read more
