Scott and his team at New Leaf Catering were amazing! From the first call to the food the service was great. The food was flavorful and everybody enjoyed it. He was able to do a drop off service for 300 people and the food was still hot and ready to be served. He was prompt in his timing and was very helpful in instructing how to portion out the food. The homemade cranberry sauce was also amazing to go with the rolls and pumpkin butter. I would totally use him again and recommend him and his team to anybody for whatever catering service that may be needed. read more

We had the great pleasure of working primarily with Dave on all aspects of the event--from planning to rentals to flowers to day-of-event activities and Scott on the menu. From start to finish, the New Leaf Catering team was exceptional. The plated dinner for thirty (with four different entrees, appetizers, and salad) won rave reviews from everyone. The flower arrangements by Dave were mind-blowingly fantastic, and the service and communication and attention throughout the process was exceptional. The event--our marriage celebration!--couldn't have been better. We're so grateful to have found this group of professionals. Couldn't recommend more highly. read more

Wonderfully catered meal by Scott and his team. Everything was perfectly executed and tasted delicious! I originally reached out to New Leaf to assist with figuring out how to feed my 28 person family dinner on Christmas Day while we were visiting in Palm Springs. I was scrambling to find a caterer that could deliver food either on or before Christmas Day and Scott and his team were so game to assist and not charge an arm and a leg for it. They were incredibly reasonably priced and the food was excellent! My family ultimately decided to swap the dinner to the 26th instead and again, Scott's team was so flexible and was able to change the delivery date for me. Scott personally delivered the food to our airbnb and explained how to heat everything up to me with a plan towards a set dinner time. The food was all perfectly cooked and my family had a wonderful evening - there was even a battle at the end of the night for the leftover prime rib. Thanks again New Leaf! read more

Exceptional in every way! My wedding was a month ago in Palm Springs, and New Leaf Catering brought the standard to another level. I have known Scott's work for several years, and have been a witness to his innovative capabilities to wow every pallet. There was absolutely no question when considering a caterer - and it was the ONE aspect of my wedding I did not stress about. Even when I had a venue crisis, Gaynor and the rest of the team jumped in to help me, though it certainly was not their obligation. The food for my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception were nothing short of incredible. The staff was so well versed and passionate about the food they were serving. I had guests for days after making a mention of how stunning the menu was and how fantastic the staff made the experience. We really put our trust in Scott and his team, and he lives up to every expectation and then some. I have already referred Scott to another bride who was wow'd at my wedding. Scott is a culinary genius, and Gaynor and the rest of the team polishes and brings your whole event together! We will definitely be using New Leaf again soon! read more

New Leaf Catering - Chef Scott (center) was amazing to work with! - Caterers Near Me - Cathedral City, California

I can't even describe how happy I was with the service the team from New Leaf provided for my wedding in Palm Springs in September. From the moment the crew of 3 arrived to the moment they left, I felt 100% taken care of and that the success of our amazing and delicious dinner was all their doing. First off, as soon as they arrived they were quick to set up and get to work without having to ask me one question (which I was grateful for since every other detail I had been running around implementing myself along with some dear friends). They knew what they were doing and were able to take care of everything on their own. The drinks table was set up immediately and was just as I would have done myself. The table settings were laid out impeccably. Hors D'oeuvres were being passed around and everyone was happy with food and drink in hand before the ceremony. Then the dinner. Our Chef, Tre was simply amazing. I was pleased to hear a lot of my guests went up to him to thank him for the delicious meal, he deserved all that praise and more. Not one of my guests didn't comment on how delicious everything was. We served family style dishes such as tri tip steak, chicken, a ridiculous caesar salad with potato croutons (they were the hit of the night, as everyone commented on them), a rice pilaf with veggies and some assorted veggie sides. We had very minimal leftovers the next day because throughout the night, everyone went back into the fridge to have more plates of the food! Our 2 servers, Debbie and Sara were the saviors of the evening. Always keeping everyone's glasses full, and taking care of everything with ease and with such wonderful personalities. They were attentive to me in the sense that since I am pregnant, I always had a yummy virgin cocktail in hand. They even went above and beyond and set up the most beautiful cake table decorations for our cake cutting. They really thought of every little detail and went above and beyond. I also owe everything to Scott who worked with me from the beginning. I simply had to describe what I wanted very briefly and he completely understood my taste and vision. He was so great to collaborate with and accepted every single one of my requests with ease. I was even surprised he was so accommodating with everything I was providing myself such as the alcohol, the cake and furniture rental. I was prepared for an event company to try and make feel I should be using their services for everything and that certain things wouldn't be allowed. I didn't hear one word about any of that, just that it be perfectly ok. He was also more than helpful when I was trying to bring down the cost. No issues from his end, only helpful suggestions and positive responses to how I wanted to alter the budget. I know this review sounds incredibly mushy and there are way too many praises of how amazing everything was, but I can't help it, it was perfect. I couldn't believe how much they took care of for the evening. My thought was they were there to simply serve the food and drinks, not pay attention to all the details that they did. I really recommend using New Leaf for your event, I can assure you won't be disappointed and will actually be surprised how a company could go so above and beyond what you'd expect to make your event memorable and special. I read in some other reviews the only negative comment was the length of time to took for responses. While I can attest this was true in my case as well (though there was not a length of time that caused any disruption in my planning) I will come to their defense. I can see why they are so busy, they do great work and not surprising, are constantly working on events. You will be grateful that they give 100% of their attention to you when your time comes and they aren't busy on the phone talking to or emailing other clients. read more

Update! So the owner waits a year to respond to my review and then try's to say I never used them? Sad state of affairs, call us for what? We have moved on to better more professional cateres and you sir deserve your 3.5 stars on Yelp and even with that low rating you still have 70% of your reviews filtered in some crazy effort I'm guessing to get your rating up? I had asked a few people around PS about you since your post and it was not good things court judgements, drinking and liens where a few of the things I was told. Old review: I do not know what is happened to this catering company we used to use them often on food was above average but they were able to take care of our unique needs. I've called for this company a few times in the last couple of months and I have not even got a return call! I must agree with many of the posters here and wonder what is going on with this business? read more

Chef Scott made a memorable meal for my girlfriend's birthday. Throughout the entire process from our initial contact to the meal itself, it was obvious how much pride Scott has in his food and his business. We had an absolutely delicious four-course meal that was custom to my girlfriend's taste. In addition, the evening ended with a triple layer vanilla cake that Scott procured for us from a local bakery, served with fresh berries. Appetizer 1 - Seasonal Sashimi: Hamachi sashimi with fresh mango, fine herbs, Evoo and sea salt, finished with fresh lime and cracked pepper Appetizer 2 - Shrimp and crispy garlic baguette: Sautéed prawns, capers, fresh peas, garlic, tomatoes, Pinot Grigio, whole butter and crispy garlic baguette. Salad - Caesar Gem Lettuce Salad with Salmon: Organic Gem Lettuce with cornmeal-crusted wild salmon, croutons, and shaved pecorino. With Caesar dressing Main Course 1 - Branzino: Thyme scented Panko crusted branzino, stuffed with roasted peppers, spinach and artichokes with lemon, parsley gremolata on the side Main Course 2 - Pan seared Halibut: Pacific halibut stuffed with roasted peppers, spinach and artichoke with chimichurri on the side Each of the main courses were served over a seasonal risotto with Mediterranean roasted vegetables. Scott was incredibly attentive to my needs and worked with me to put together a custom menu, weaving together our favorites with his own colorful, creative twists. His presentation was artful and included edible flowers and leaves. He also provided a desert inspired floral table arrangement and candles to set the stage. The small touches he included made the ambiance comfortable and charming, while not detracting from the food itself. The next day after the meal, Scott checked in with me to make sure he did a great job, which he certainly did. He was also open to constructive feedback, and I appreciate how he is always striving to do better. I highly recommend Scott to anyone in the area looking for a truly memorable and wonderful private dining experience. read more

New Leaf Catering is more than a catering company....it's a whole experience! I was recommended to Scott's catering company by my Dad for my boyfriend's 50th birthday. The service, the food, OMG the food and experience were wayyy beyond my expectations. I usually am the one running around cooking and cleaning at the party so it was fabulous to just sit down and relax and let Chef Anthony work his magic!
