Having been to every pawn shop in the metro area dozens of times, David and the crew here at the Wells Branch Top Cash are the best. First off, if you're posting a review to cry about what you got offered for a ring/gun/appliance, step back and look at where you are - it's a PAWN SHOP. This isn't "Pawn Stars," people. If your stuff is worth a crap, sell it somewhere for what it's worth - a pawn shop is going to offer you the lowest price they can to minimize their risk and maximize their profit potential. You're not going to get rich pawning your worthless belongings. On the other hand, if you want to buy used merchandise at a fair price, this Top Cash has better quality goods and lower prices than any of the other locations in the chain. Over the course of 30 years scouring pawn shops for deals, I've learned one irrefutable fact - the manager makes or breaks the location. The manager here is knowledgeable, friendly, and cooperative. I've spent quite a bit of money at this location in the last 10 years, and will continue to do so. Be smart about what you have to sell or what you want to buy - and then you won't have to whine about what you got or what you paid. read more

This place is terrible! Old and out dated! No one spoke to me when I arrived despite having 2 people behind the counter!

The young man was very unfriendly and the shop was practically empty. I can see why! Don't waste your time if you're trying to pawn or sell 14k gold and diamond jewelry. They won't even bother looking at it! read more

Came in there many times to sell old unneeded quality items like golf clubs, tech things and tools and have never even been asked can I see what you have or anything of that sort, garbage place to sell your items. Save yourself time and go elsewhere. read more

i went in to sell a ring ... i went at 6, the store closes at 8- but the staff , they refused to serve me due to being late??? how does that make any sense ... if your store is open, that means you still can serve me but your lazy a## decides not to. Crazy read more

This review is in regards to buying, not pawning. This is a really small store. The staff were friendly when I arrived and they were both dressed nicely with ties. The selection of items isn't huge and everything seems older, but I did want to stop by just to browse. I can't speak on the price of much but the selection left something to be desired. I wouldn't go back here, or maybe May is just a bad time of year for what they take in. read more

This place is the worst always smells like sewage and the Hispanic guy behind the counter said they are paying 10 an oz on silver when it's 32$ today. This place should be shut down. read more

Dude tried to tell me that a ps5 controller was $200 itself. That's all I needed to hear on my first time trying to purchase something. Will never enter that store. read more

Probably the worst Pawn shop in all of the greater Austin area, whatever the value your item is they'll offer in between 2-5% on it, even brand new items. Highly lacking in the knowledge aspect of products. Brought in an item still brand new in box worth over $500 and the guy behind the counter said $30. The place looks barren, with items that have probably been sitting there for years. Highly recommend this store always and forever be skipped when looking to pawn items or buy from a pawn shop. read more

Dude tried to give me 50$ for my gold pendent that weights about 2 grams, this store is a joke

As an eBay Reseller, I frequent this pawn shop often. It is always clean and well organized. This shop has great items and I get a lot of laptops, tablets and electronics here. They have something new every time I go in instead of the same old dusty items I see at other pawn chains. The manager doesn't mind that I am re-selling and works with me for some good deals. I will continue to make this location a regular stop for me. read more

I have been to Top Cash Pawn on several occasions occasions to purchase items. Their selection of items is okay and their customer service is hit or miss. read more

Just earned their rating. Found a 14k gold necklace and went bouncing around pawnshops to see what I could get for it. Everyone was offering around $250 except these guys. Said it was worth $60 and they were just gonna melt it down. Screw em. This is what Yelp is for... read more

They made an exception by accepting my professional kitchenaid mixer, got only $60 for it on loan. Pawned my brother sewing machine & stun gun, for a whopping $100. Oh well, at least they don't charge interest the first month! Jason was very helpful. read more

Top Cash Pawn - Pawn Shops Near Me - Pflugerville, Texas

I've been a customer of Top Cash Pawn for many years now and must say I am pleased with the outstanding customer service I receive here. David and Guzman have been my go to guys when I need an emergency loan and they always give me the best rates. They are extremely friendly, and make me feel at home everytime I walk in. I have also bought items from this store including televisions which to this day work just like new! I would recommend this place to my friends and family anyday! One other mention I want to make is how clean and well kept the store is. If you ever need a quick loan, are looking for top quality items, and friendly faces THIS is the place to go to! read more

Offered me $200 for a rifle. Went to Action pawn and they gave me $750 for the same one. Shows how much they want to profit... I would NOT sell or pawn any weapons at this location. read more

If you want a remotely decent offer, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! They lowball everything! Everyone there is ok except the manager (hispanic guy, salt and pepper hair). He only want to except jewerly and knows NOTHING about electonics! read more

Called about a posting told I would be called back shop up and they just sold it. That's an ass move thanks

I never write reviews, but this company is garbage. They fail to explain that you have to have BOTH receipts to get intrest free, the manager Davd Martinez is rude and a con! I do not recommend coming here for anyone. Even though I have my interest free coupon he charged me an extra $50 for interest when nobody mentioned it in the beginning OR when i called in this morning. read more

I called about a question on an item to pawn. After about ten seconds of them "asking the boss" they literally both laughed in my face over the phone. Very unproffessional for any business. Keep your rude comments till at least you hang up read more

I had an emergency two days ago and needed $400, and I saw this pawn shop next to I-35. I took my chain and my pendant (total 22g) to pawn to that store around 7:15 pm. The first time that I ever visited your store. A Lady was texting behind the loan counter ( guess she was an employee) and nobody else available to help. I explained my situation and the amount of money needed. She ran outside to call her manager that was outside sitting in his car. The manager Jeremy (identified himself like that) was pretty annoyed that I interrupted whatever he was doing outside. He took my chain and went behind the counter. He came back in the most arrogant and unprofessional manner to say that I can get barely $200 because the troy ounce of gold was only $31 and your chain weights only 15.6 g. He gave me the chain in the most uninterested way without looking at my pendant. I ask for his Supervisor name and phone number, and he immediately replied that his boss (David) phone was personal and he doesn't like the client to call. I ask for the corporate number, and he denied that too. I went to EZ Pawn, and they lent me the $400 that I needed. I have the ticket to prove it. It is very disappointing seen this pseudo-manager destroy a good company image and reputation with that horrible attitude. Thanks to us (the clients) he has a job, and the company makes its money to pay his salary. I have worked extensively in the insurance, pawn, retail and customer service industry, and my career spans 20 years of diligent and tireless contribution to my work. All of which have been at a managerial level. I always showed my appreciation to all my clients, providing a first class customer service and always finding ways to say "yes." read more

Besides not charging interest for the first month this place is awful. I'd steer clear, plenty of other pawnshops in the area.

Let start with my loan ended on Friday 062515, I went in on Tuesday to let them know i can pay off my loan on July 1st. The lady told me it would be ok. Well on July 1 the manager told me no and i had to pay over 200 for the 80.00 loan. I had to buy my stuff back since i didn't come back on friday. I explained to him they got cameras and can see i was there on tues and to ask his rep. The manager told me he would call me back the next day he had to get with his rep. Guess what no call back. I showed up on july 2 and the manager told me i had to pay or renew my load since his rep didn't remember me and the camera didn't show me at the store. I just paid him the 238.00 and then he gave me a receipt and told me I had to come back for my stuff because its off sight. REALLY???? when i asked him how come i wasn't told my stuff was not there yesterday or before i even paid? why no sign says my stuff is not here either!!! The manager told me " i don't have to notify you of anything"..... Its now the 9th and I still have not received a call back that my stuff is back at the store for me to pick up. read more

I purchased a handgun from them and when I finally got the chance to test it out it didn't work. I brought it back to see what type of resolution they would offer for selling a broken firearm.... they held the gun for two months, telling me every time I called for an update that it was still being fixed. A week before I was going out of town I told the manager that I was going out of town for an extended period of time and would like to have it back before I left, he told me that it was finally fixed and I could pick it up Friday afternoon. When I called Friday to see if it had been delivered yet I was told it was still being repaired! Of course it was the day off for the manager who I had been working with so no one knew what was going on and couldn't help me other than promising to "call me back in a few minutes" which ended up being someone else calling me back with a message. I finally asked if I could pick it up unrepaired since I obviously wasn't getting anywhere with them. They sell broken firearms and probably other broken items, give you the run around, and instead of the manager taking responsibility of a situation he just kept passing the buck to the employees who are not involved and know nothing about the situation. I will never purchase anything from another pawn shop but if I did it would especially not be from this one they are the very reason people don't trust pawn shops. read more
