He became sarcastic. A month later when I called again to make another payment he "reminded" me that he remembered who I was from the months prior conversation. I then proceeded to ask to pay off our layaway so that we could be done with this individual and location. He said I couldn't pay it off unless it was done in person. I did call and make a complaint with someone higher than himself. If he doesn't like being in customer service (management) position than he should find another job. So I called them within hours of purchasing it but they were about to close so the same guy who helped me said to bring it back tomorrow which I did. The same guy who sold it to me remembered me and that I was given a 6-month money back guarantee. He didn't know how to put this into the register so he got assistance from some rude AF dark-haired mexican chick. She pretended to look and type into the register then told the guy I could only get a store credit or "pick something out" of the same price. Ohhhhhhh no, no, no, ma'am. I told her I needed a weed wacker, y'all sold me one with parts missing, I don't want anything else, I JUST bought this yesterday, I need my money back. She was kind of talking to the guy and to herself but loud enough for me to hear that she couldn't "push it through", I could try taking it back at another location. I just slowly shook my head no. I told her y'all better do something. Y'all sold me a trimmer NO ONE can use because of missing parts. She said I could "go to home depot or anywhere and get the part." Girl. Really. It just so happens that I looked up buying the part when I first took it home. It turns out no one sells a comparable part and it has been sold out on the manufacturer's website for over a year. I told her again that they need to do something then she said "I'm trying to help you and your getting aggressive with me and I don't have to help you." I honestly think she was trying to trigger me to get belligerent so she could justify making me leave without my money. But no, I was calm and cool as a cucumber. She said "I'm just trying to explain to you!" At no time did she explain anything! She talked to the guy the whole time, explaining to him various ways to put things into the computer, how "this" sale is entered and how "that" sale is entered, stalling and making me wait. Then she was texting frantically on her phone. The guy complimented my earrings. The girl played around with the register some more, talking to the guy and saying how they "can't put it in like this" and "they can't put it in like that, " Just a bunch of ridiculousness. I went in there specifically to get a weed trimmer. Period. Then when I take it back they try to keep my money and tell me to "pick something out" GTFOOH. They really, really tried to swindle me. Then the guy told me that the "regional manager" had to push it through and that's the only way there were able to do it. Blah, blah, blah. The should have talked to the regional manager from the beginning because they know they were wrong on so many levels. Despite that girl's efforts to keep my money, I finally got my refund. Please do not shot here. They talk all butterflies and roses to get your money, with promises of warranties and guarantees, when they know they have absolutely no intention of honoring it. If you need ANYTHING, buy it new from somewhere you know, at least you can take it back. That's what I plan to do. Never again will I purchase second (and third) hand.
