Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. There are some negative reviews of Dr. Steinbrunner here, and I can't imagine why. I've seen him…read morefor over a year now. My dentist referred me for observation of a tooth with resorption. At the first visit, he explained what resorption was and why it might be happening. At that point, no action was needed, so he asked me to return months later to make sure it was not getting worse. Unfortunately, it was, and I was having pain. He again explained carefully what was happening and that the pain was due to the proximity of the nerve. He told me that a root canal would be the way to proceed, and that we should be able to save the tooth and eliminate the pain I'd been having. I was not thrilled to hear that I needed a root canal, but felt comfortable with him and scheduled it. Root canals are no one's idea of fun, but Dr. Steinbrunner and his staff did everything possible to explain every step and keep me as comfortable as possible. When I indicated that I could still feel pain, he gave me more local anesthetic and waited for it to take effect before continuing. As promised, the pain was gone after the procedure, and I'm able to chew using that tooth once again. I had a concern about that same tooth weeks after the procedure. I called the office and they got me in that same day. It turns out it had nothing to do with the root canal, but rather a TMJ splint I wear at night. Dr. Steinbrunner helped me sort out what was happening, and I was able to get in touch with my TMJ doctor and all is well. I'm so impressed with his compassion, experience, and professionalism...I can't imagine where those other reviews came from!
