This shop has so many really cool TOYS! Isn't that what a Motorbike, ATV, GO Kart are, toys? I mean, yes, they are means of transportation, but for many, these are toys. To let off steam, enjoy a competitive nature of ourselves that's natural and good sportsmanship. Medically promoted improvement in hand and eye coordination, many positive attributes to health. * They have such a Large and Wide selection and Brands. ATVS 70 cc, $1495 110cc $1995 125cc $2495 450cc with the removable snow plow $7495. The super cool Manual Go Kart Truck , camo style $3495. If I was a kid. I would want that!!! So cool. We as customers have an obligation to ourselves to know the product we purchase and the price we purchase it at . Ask questions if you have them. I asked many questions, they were very helpful. They didn't avoid questions and knew the products they were selling in the store. Their display outside is what caught my eye. I was nearby enjoying a National Historical Site, and saw the Go Karts as I drove by. I thought "So much fun." What a great place to have in the community . They have protective wear to use your Toys responsibly, and they have a Tool Department and Repair department as well. I did not make a purchase. But I do believe if I asked them , the performance and repair questions, they would have been helpful. They took pride in their store and their work. That's awesome. Very unique find! Ty for your kindness, I appreciate service like that. read more

Staff are friendly but not reliable. Bad at getting back to customers for parts or even to order parts. Don't waste your time or money here. Everything cheep unless they buy off ppl to resell them everything else isn't worth it. When parts break don't expect them to get replacement parts for you. They say they'll call you back and never do. read more

I bought a brand new dirt bike from this place. The products they sell are garbage and unreliable. The screws vibrate out of their products and their advice is to tighten every screw on your dirt bike after you ride it. They did fix some of it for free but it ended right back at the shop after the next ride, the bolts securing the motor vibrated out then broke the weld. I now have to go to small claims court for my money back. You are betting off buying a used dirt bike off Facebook than what they sell. read more

This place is complete garbage bought a 4 wheeler and it broke down the same day I paid 1,200 for it, called them and they said to buy a new battery and I did it worked for around one more hour and then it did not want to start again took it to the mechanic and they said that I need a whole bunch of new stuff because what they sold me is completely garbage! Don't come here please buy online or somewhere else. read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SHOP. TOTAL SCAM. I purchased a 4 wheeler for my son 1 year ago. It wouldn't start so I brought it in and they charged me 296.00, one of the fee was for gas and it was empty. I told them if I was getting charged at least fill the gas, they said we charge that no matter what. After having the 4 wheeler back it stopped working again. I told them they would have to pick it up because I was 35 min away and they wanted to charge me again for pick up. They don't work with you, and there attitude is pretty much you bought it, your stuck with it. Never again!!!!! read more

Looks like the financing plan is a scam. Called the numbers given by a man that works there and they weren't very genuine. They girls that work in the register were whispering and giggling as I talked business and asked my questions to the man that was telling me about the 2 lenders . I felt it was unprofessional as well as . Not a good vibe for my experience! read more

I needed a tool and that was the place to. 11 mm Hex socket by itself didn't need the set.

Love stopping in the tool store to see all the crazy toys they are selling. Always a treat to see the selection, but I continue to return for the Sunnex sockets and high quality air tools for great prices. Fun atmosphere with a variety of personalities on staff. You are not shopping at Harbor Freight, don't expect it. Great people, great variety, and fair pricing. I will be back. read more

Really bad service. I would not recommend this place. I ordered a battery from them and it didn't even work. I called the place before going and explained to them and they told me to come in and they would give me a new one. Expensive chinese tools. Go to Harbor Freight and pay half for the same stuff. They sell chinese scooters also, but your better off buying a name brand even though they are more money. The people there seem nice and the selection is large so I cant give them just one star. read more

What a marvelous and pleasant time. Store is a phenomenal big boys toys den. I went to do a incredibly hard job on an electric scooter, and the owner Jim was very welcoming with a price that was a steal. The employee working on my scooter was very competent and beyond nice, he even adjusted my brakes for me. These people are super kind and make great adventure providers. read more

I bought a tao Tao pit bike from them thinking it'd be a fun little bike. After 2-3 weeks I began to notice some issues, it would bog out after running for a little bit, then I noticed a engine bolt was missing, like how do you forget to put that on, then I thought it was just a accident until my front brake fell off, they stripped the bolt while putting itt on and it fell off when I was riding. After that things started to go down, not even a month of ownership! May I add I don't ride it a lot maybe 2-3 times a week. Then last but no lease my muffler had 1 bolt holding it on. After that i was very upset. I wouldn't trust them fixing my bike. And if I buy a new one I'd have to inspect it. read more

Great place to get tools! Jim the owner is a great guy!

Came in litereally five minutes to closing and was planning on "just looking". Well, I drove off on a 1970 Honda in fantastic shape. Chris helped me out and knocked $200 off my purchase. I think thats a lot when you're spending less than $1000. He stayed late for me and even put in a new tail light before I left. read more

I can't ask for better service from a place that facilitates my ability to perform my job day in and day out. Most people in my profession and similar trades rely on tools to complete our tasks at hand. Unfortunately the high end tool providers over price their tools. It is known that any one of the high end tools trucks are subject to a premium price for their products. Here I not only get the one component I am looking for, but for the money that I save over the tool trucks, I can get more bang for the buck. There is an alternative to the cheap Tool stores. This is it. I get quality tools at reasonable prices in most cases lifetime warranties and experience personal attention from the staff. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will order it for you. If you have that special project that needs that specific widget, I recommend you stop in here. Oh one other thing, they also sell and service ATV's and Motorcycles. Stop in and see Danny read more

Brought in my 150cc to get some work done. Work was done efficiently and with haste. Pricing was standard. And customer service was an A+. Will def be going back for anything else I need. Thank you tool store!! read more

This shop is great. I stopped in last week. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. They have a wide selection of go-karts, scooters, ATV's and motorcycles. It's half tool shop, half toy store for grown-ups. read more

Professional and knowledgable staff. Had two positive experiences at the Tool Store. The owner Jim is a stand up guy. Highly recommend this place for snowblower repairs. One of a few local places that repair self balancing scooters or as my son calls them, hover boards at their shop. read more

Very disappointed with the service. My son called 3 times to confirm price for the item he wanted to purchase. LARRY said the same price each time. Drove 30 miles. Got there and LARRY and another guy gave us the old bait and switch. The manager/owner(?) came to my son and I and said sorry the price is 2x what LARRY told you over the phone. He said sorry Larry screwed up and "why don't you punch Larry between the legs". Are you kidding me!!!!! That is what your going to tell my son, because your employee lied. Why don't YOU do that to your employee-LARRY? and then honor the price he quoted my son 3x over the phone. We walked out. REALLY that is the message you want to send about your business??? read more

Bad service i went there ask if they can pick up my bike i live 5 minutes away they say yes i have to pay 40 i did then they supposed to be in 20 minutes i wait for 40 min i called and they say the guy just left i call back 20 min after and ask for the guy they say they're busy that happens on a Saturday they schedule for tuesday morning and nothing so i get my money back and star looking for a different place read more

Their web site really needs an update. As far as items they sell and at what prices. The more info a customer finds out about the pricing and services that are offered over the internet the more customers they would have walking in and out of the store. I live in the city and I know the last thing I want to do is drive all the way over to Harlem Ave just to find that the part I need is a little too expensive or they may not have it in stock. read more

I recently purchased a 50cc scooter that was still in it's crate, I ask the sales person brand new? "yes, we sell these like hot cakes, can't keep on the floor". Ok then, I'll buy it. My receipt shows a 2014 scooter, at 2015 prices. Ok, I was born yesterday. To summarized the reason I rate it a star: l had to return the scooter because it was not put together safety, loose parts, a quarter filled gas tank "wtf", they gave me a trunk that does not fit the scooter and I am still trying to figure out how to put in on or trade it. Right from the start lots of inconveniences for a new customer. This place is run by men and lousy customer service skills. I do not recommend this place aka tool store go kart shop. One more thing, stores hours sucks. Stay away from this place. read more

Bought a nice shiny brand new icebear scooter. 26 total miles on it. Drove it maybe 2 weeks and it broke down. Leaking fuel. Front wheel locks and over heats at just 5 min in to the ride. Chinese scooter sold by a dealer with absolutely no honor or integrity whatsoever. No refunds. Charge to fix something that should be covered under warranty. A very expensive lesson I learned here. STAY AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS. Terrible experience. Terrible. read more

Went to buy a motorcycle they advertised on their website. The bike photo looked awesome, clean, perfect on the website. Adam, the sales guy assured me in 3 different calls that the bike was perfect, just like the photo! and had clean title. When I got there (6 hour drive, which I also shared with them)! I found the bike that looked similar, but different year then advertised, had it's electrical system vandalized, it was missing front fender and many parts, and side covers, the bike was heavily oxidized all over, and had multiple paint chips all over, chain and sprockets rolled and shot. Sales assured me this was the first time this sort of thing happened. I caught them in lies from start to finish. They never produced the title either. Complete fabrication! I was baited to drive 12 hours round trip today. Very frustrating that these people have no moral compass. Bad con artists. read more

I can only speak to the service department and my personal experience, which was horrible. I brought in my scooter-based three wheeler. The owner and manager assured me diagnosing a starting problem would not be an issue. When I didn't hear from them after 10 days, I called them. The person I spoke to couldn't find my service order nor did he know anything about the location of my vehicle. He stated that he would get back to me. He didn't follow up as he stated he would. When I called back 24 hours later another person told me it was on the bench and almost done. I was a bit taken back as they were to call me to approve any repairs prior to doing them. I was lied to. The vehicle was not being worked on. A day later I spoke to David who told me he was the service manager and he would personally work on my vehicle. Long story short, he told me that the would need to remove the entire body to diagnose the starting problem and that would cost me $500 just to get to the point where he could troubleshoot the starting issue. Knowing this vehicle very well, I explained to him that he only needed to remove a side panel to access the starter. After speaking with David for a short time it was evident that he didn't want to deal with the starting issue. I asked if he could replace the brakes, he came up with more excuses. Frustrated, I picked up the vehicle. The manger asked how things went. When I brought this situation to his attention he just walked away. They got me for $150. I removed the panel myself, unbolted the starter and within 20 minutes determined that the starter motor was faulty. The guys at the Tool Store are suppose to be professionals that we can rely on to fairly help us when we need help. Simply put, they let me down, big time! I will never waste my time with this business ever again. read more
