Bought a washing machine, runs great! The price was great and they delivered it quickly and installed it in a tight place. Took away the broken washer. They are great! I bought a used washing machine from Tony's after mine flooded the basement. It was delivered and installed promptly, and when I had a problem with it about a month later where the lid switch failed, it was repaired quickly and at no charge because they honored their 90 day warranty. I've bought several items from Tony's over the years and have always gotten a good product and good service! read more

NEED TO HAVE NEGATIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!! -5 would be good for a start. I bought a dryer from them, saw it on a Saturday, paid for it on Monday CASH. Was told it would be delivered "soon" another 6 days for delivery!!! They call at 3:15 pm, they had another delivery in NA and would be here after. All said and done delivered/brought in 5:30 pm No key for coins as it's a coin op dryer. . Dryer won't turn on. Call them on Monday, can't get here that day. Another week goes by show up. First thing said was " I hate doing warranty repairs". Get it turning on BUT doesn't heat up to dry clothes. Still no key as it's a coin op. Say they need to "orderr" the part. I wait 12 days and phone goes right to voice mail and voice mail is full!!! I show up. They come again at about 5:15 pm, pretend to check the temp of the dryer but never turned it on. Okay gonna "swap it out for 1 he claims to be using in shp daily". Another week goes by no word, no working phone. Again I go there, I am shown a dryer that still has nothing in the coin op to accept coins, the guts if you will. They finally just show up that evening with no call and swap out the dryers. Never showing me that the coin op works. Again this dryer accepts money but AGAIN won't turn on. Now we are just about at the end of "the warranty period" and I still have an appliance that does NOT work correctly!!!! I am out all that money and have NOTHING to show for it!!!!! read more

I live in an apartment and back in March, my fridge went. My landlord called Tony's and arranged for a fridge to be purchased. Tony's called me immediately and said they could come out right away. I explained I was on my way out the door in an hour and they assured me they were on their way and it wouldn't take much time. Well, I waited an hour and a half after the time they were supposed to be here when they finally showed up. Flash forward 2 months almost to the day... the fridge they brought stopped working. Called my landlord again who called them. They told him it was under warranty and would replace it. They called me and said they were on their way (this is at 6 oclock on a Tuesday evening). I get up for work at 3am so by 9pm, when they still hadn't been to my house, I left a voicemail stating to call me on Wednesday to reschedule. Wednesday comes and no one calls me in the morning. By 11am, I finally call them, no apology, nothing. The gentleman asks me what time I'm home from work, I tell him around 5pm -- he says he will be there no later than 6pm. I come home from work, take what's left in my fridge out and place it on my table and wait. By 9pm, they still haven't come so again. I go to bed after leaving another voicemail. I'm a single mom, working 2 jobs, putting my son through college on my own. All of my groceries that I just bought on Monday are gone. No call, no show two days in a row. I wouldn't do business again with these people if they were the last place on earth. HORRIBLE and now it's Thursday and they still haven't contacted me. How are people allowed to treat you this way??? read more

Absolutely unprofessional. This company scheduled a pick up of an appliance (Jenn Air wall oven, in great shape) for 10:30a. I took time off of work to be there for them to pick it up. At 10:45a, there was still nobody here, so I called them. They had no idea what I was talking about. The person answering the phone said the person (Jacob) that scheduled the pickup the day before "had not even shown up for work yet" and he didn't know when he would be there, and he had no record of the pick-up being scheduled. He did apologize and then he said "well, I wouldn't wait around for him". Don't bother with these people unless you like wasting your time. Update: They did reschedule and come to pick up the appliance. The person who scheduled the original appt was part of the crew, but had no apology for missing the first appointment I might add. read more

I used to be a repeat customer of Tony's and the couple from Maine were so friendly. I have purchased appliances from them about two yrs ago. Two weeks ago I showed up at store as I desperately needed a fridge for my 3rd floor but was not sure how tall I could go. I didnt ask but the Manager was adamant that he would come to my house and measure that day...and also check out a drier issue..i waited he never showed...tried calling the next day to no avail as mailbox is always full. I finally got through a few days later and spoke to the manager he apologized and said he was sorry ....asked my address again and said oh no problem I remember your house "I will be there that day at 2:30.....i waited I called at 4:30 no answer No show. Don't bother going there as you should not make a promise and not show it's totally wrong. Ended up ordering a new appliance through S&W appliance it may be on back order but the customer service was better.. read more

We needed to purchase a new fridge and, as we had done before, went first to Tony's. The unit we selected (with expert guidance i might add) was exactly the color and style (freezer top, fridge down) the Mrs. wanted; and at a better price than we had expected. The delivery was prompt with the unit arriving spotlessly clean in and out. The two delivery men were consistently courteous and polite; even with a five year old, three pets and four guests trying their best to stay out of the way. Additionally due to the narrow doorways in the house and the poor condition of the old unit, the removal was far more difficult than usual. This only allowed them to further display their professionalism. And as for the fridge itself? It is four cubic feet larger than the old one (especially in the freezer) and therefore far better met our needs than the old unit had. Also it is so whisper quiet you can barely hear it run; with a freezer so cold the icicles form in my beard every time I go to get a creamcicle and a fridge keeping a constant 40 degrees with no variation in temperature; period. If it wasn't for two barely noticeable dents I would easily think it is brand new. Perfect place to buy and will be buying replacement stove (which we don't like) & washer (which is starting to go) when tax $ comes in in March. in short, to blazes with overpriced new, buy from Tony's read more

Can't say enough good things about this guy. Most places wanted $90 or more just for the service call. Mel came out without the pressure of any service call payment. I explained the situation with my refrigerator and he knew exactly what the culprit was and went right to it. He fixed the issue with a "hack" fix explaining to me that I had nothing to lose and if the hack fix didn't work(he was confident it would work as he's done it before and after 2 years it hasn't failed)then he'd order the part which is nearly $200. I can't say enough good things about my experiences with Tony's. We have used them on and off for over 5 years now and have been extremely satisfied. We had problems with a washer about 5 years ago and most recently a refrigerator (both were bought new at another appliance store). In both cases we thought the appliances were gone but Tony came over to our house (very quickly) and fixed them both (very quickly) for only a modest cost. They also carry a nice selection of used appliances - we were actually ready to buy a used refrigerator but didn't have to because Tony was able to fix ours. He could have told us ours was beyond repair and made a larger sale off of us but he didn't because he is honest and very knowledgeable. read more

The WORST customer service experience I've ever had!!! I don't usually write reviews especially rants like this, but I felt it was necessary to hopefully save others from the awful experience I had. I purchased a fridge from Tony's less than a year ago and something is wrong with it (not sure what exactly is wrong because I couldn't get anyone out here to look at it). I scheduled 3 service appointments with them, one being with the owner himself who promised to come out and take a look at the fridge. All 3 times they were a no call/ no show! When I called them to confront them on this they were barely apologetic, and making excuses as to why after over a week and 3 no calls/ no shows later they were still unable to come service my fridge. I do NOT recommend Tony's if you're looking for speedy or friendly customer service. read more

I called Tony's to repair my refrigerator. After determining that it was the compressor, they scheduled a man to repair it the following week. Unfortunately, they failed to reconnect the water line. Two days later, I discovered that the water had been continuously dumping into my large storage area. Although the mess required a professional team to clean up and it was a five day ordeal for me, the major problem I had was that Tony's denied responsibility for the mistake. The repairman forgot to reconnect the line so it was their error. Don't expect this business to be responsible. read more

I've purchased from here for 8 years and never will again! Went to buy a dryer and the man there said he was the "son" of the owner [Lie. He's the son in law.] and told me he was taking over the business now. [Another lie. He just works there now since moving back from Maine] I was told my dryer would be delivered the following afternoon and that was fine. I called at 2:30pm for an update, which was given and told they had 2 more stops and then I was next. I called again at 4:45pm and was told they were finishing a delivery then would return to the store to pick up my dryer and drop it off. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME NOR CAME! We waited for hours and not even the courtesy to call and say they were not coming. The following morning I called and asked why wasn't my dryer delivered and no one had an answer. Told them I want my money back and would be there at noon. Upon arrival the "son" wouldn't even look my way or say a word. The owner, when I asked why it wasn't delivered or even a call proceeded to tell me that his son stated he told me it would be "in the evening or the following morning" which is a complete LIE. If it could be the following morning then why didn't anyone call me to inform me? Exactly. If the "son" is taking over the business then it will slowly fail. Ridiculous. read more

Wowza, I'm impressed. I had an issue with my dryer, Mel came out to check it out within 24 hours. They got the part for the repair and Mel was back the next day. I didn't have to purchase a new appliance, and the service price, including the part wasn't much over the cost of the part on ebay! Mel was courteous, professional, and saw his customer's need as his priority. I was leery about getting repairs, however, I am no longer about this company. If We have anymore appliance trouble, we know where to go! This is my first Yelp review and I am doing this to help those who are in the circumstances we were in, we had an appliance a few years old, no extended warranty, and wondered was it worth trying to repair. Deserves less than 1 star. We bought a dryer 2-3 months ago and it's already broken. Tony's has a 6 month warranty and they have not honored it. We went down and spoke with the manager and agreed on a time he would come by to fix it. No one called or showed up. We have made numerous phone calls and left many voice mails (the manager actually admitted they never check the voice mails). Save yourself the money, these guys are the Houle's of washing machine/dryer appliances of Attleboro. We would not recommend to anyone looking for a dryer or washer.
