This guy didn't do the job properly and couldn't fixed the problem. Moreover he charged me 200 for replacing one sprinkler head , which took only 10 minutes while he said it would take 1 hour. He ripped me off. I wan to share my bad, experience with many people so that nobody can be cheated by him. read more

Tony came by on Saturday to give us a quote for landscaping before sales of our house. Our yard was overgrown and absolutely saturated with weeds and pine needles. There were some serious ivy issues and a tone of debris. The job was quoted at $800 less than the previous quote. Tony was able to complete the full job within one day! Our property looks amazing! Tony is so kind, with great attention to detail. We will definitely recommend! Quick, meticulous, respectful, and affordable. Thank you Tony and crew! read more

Tony and his team were professional and very responsive. I had them remove some weeds and bushes and cover an area with bark in addition to power washing the walkway and driveway. They were a little pricy but the work was completed satisfactorily. read more

Tony and his crew went above and beyond what we expected. He thatched, aerated, and fertilized. He worked until he was pleased with the results - thatching 3 times as our grass had been neglected. He returns calls quickly! I would definitely recommend. read more

Had an appointment for 1pm. I'm at the grocery store at 11:59am and get alerts that he is RINGING AND RINGING AND RINGING my doorbell. He then calls me and said "I had an appointment with you." I said yes for 1pm. He said, "well its 12pm." i said "YES AN HOUR AWAY." Then he gives me an estimate for sod which is ridiculous. 1300 for two small STRIPS of grass pretty much in the front only. He said he left the estimate on my front door, but it was nowhere to be found. I will not use this service. Overpriced, not on time, and pushy. read more

Great service. Removed old sod and installed new. Yard looks great. Very fast and efficient read more

Tony was the only of three landscaping companies who came out quickly and gave us a quote on the spot. He also performed the work more quickly than any other company could. His work crew was so hard working and his quote beat the other companies I reviewed. I would use Tony again! read more

We reached out via yelp for quotes to do a one time job in our backyard. Tony responded immediately and was able to come out that day for the estimate, and ready to start work the next day. We didn't get any other responses so we went with him and his team was incredibly fast, respectful, professional and friendly. Tony is obviously knowledgeable on his work. He offered his honest professional opinion but ultimately followed our decisions. We're super happy wjth the results and were happy to just be able to get the job done quickly!! read more

Excellent job by Tony and crew! They went the extra mile and some to get the job done. I could not have asked for a better outcome. They were very professional, punctual, and worked hard and very quickly to give our front and backyard the upgraded look it deserves. I highly recommend this company for your landscaping needs. Definitely recommending them to family and friends. read more

Unprofessional. Avoid. I called to get an estimate for setting up my parents with landscaping to maintain their yard with basic services (cutting the grass, pulling weeds, fertilizer, etc), while discussing with Tony further we were getting all the details sorted. While discussing him coming out to my parents home for a evaluation of the property to give me an accurate quote he asked if I would be physically there. I said no. I asked him why it wasn't possible for him to survey the property (and that I'd let my parents know he would be on their property to get me a quote) and after communicate with my directly about his quote because I would be the one paying for this ongoing service for my parents. Immediately out of no where he said, I can't provide this service for you. I asked why, because we had already discussed what I was looking for and discussed a lot of details and he just replied I can't provide this service and then hung up. I've very confused and upset, I would not recommend working with this company. I didn't believe my request was that absurd and wanted an explanation/discussion but he just continued to say he can't provide this service then hung up. If this is how you're going to handle communications I'm better off not getting started with these services. read more

Thank you to Tony and his crew they were spot on with all the hard work they performed to get our yard back in shape. Tony showed up when he said he would and followed the contract that we agreed upon. The work and clean up was impeccable. Our yard looks amazing and we appreciate all the great ideas and insight Tony share with us. We will be working together for many years to come. Thank you!! Highly recommend! read more

He came to give me an estimate he was very pushy and I was getting an estimate on my backyard. When he walked to the front yard he talked bad about my flower bed..... then he stood their after attempting to upsell me waiting for me to commit his estimate he gave me was the highest out of 4 different estimates by over 1000 dollars read more

I recently purchased a new home and needed major work done on my backyard. Contacted Tony's landscaping for a free estimate and he was prompt to return my call. He came out on time and gave me a free estimate and also suggested some ideas of how to improve my backyard. His quote was reasonable and I ended up getting work on my front yard also. Tony and his team were very professional, courteous and efficient. All work was done within the time line given. Very impressed with the work done by Tony and his team. Will be calling him again for future landscaping needs. Have also recommended him to many of my neighbors. read more

Excellent work. Not the cheapest, but very high quality and we're able to cleanup a huge yard on a challenging hillside to make in shine.

At first I hesitated to write a review, since I didn't actually end up using this service, but I keep thinking about my interaction with this company and I feel like people should know about the experience before using their service. I reached out to Tony's Landscaping to cut our grass after purchasing a new home in Puyallup. My husband and I are military and relocating to the area so we needed someone to look after the grass during our transition, especially because the seller did not care for it during the sell. We reached out via yelp, and requested an initial yard service and maintenance on the property on a biweekly basis. They were prompt in returning our call. The customer service was truly not the best, and I can truly say that now after speaking to so many different lawn care services. First, the called us at nearly 4:30 am, I don't blame him because we are in a different time zone, and it's an honest mistake many people make, but if they had asked any normal "first interaction questions" when they reached out they would have realized that they completely startled us out of our sleep. They also didn't seem interested in cutting the grass or even giving an estimate on the yard work without us signing a 6 month contract. The guy was very much pushing a 6 month contract before we were even able to talk about what needed to be addressed at the property. He basically said he did not want to come and cut the yard without the contract because he didn't want to "do all the work then have us just leave the service". I didn't understand this especially since my initial request was for extended care, and we would obviously pay him for the yard, whether or not he cut it once or 80 times. It seemed very unprofessional and it was a very forced conversation. All of my other interactions with lawn care professionals have not at all been like this, even the ones who declined to help us until a later date. Also, no one has tried to push us into a contract on the first call. read more

Tony and team did a fantastic job! The original landscaping was done in 2003 and had very little maintenance performed over the years. It was a mess of weeds and dead/overgrown bushes. I called Tony on a Friday, he came out on Saturday for an estimate, the job was started on Monday and finished early Tuesday afternoon. Each day the team arrived on time and cleaned up at the end. And the results are amazing! I thought the price was reasonable for all the work involved, including the labor and materials. Also, Tony did not skimp on rocks and bark- he ensured there was 3-4 inches of each to keep things looking good and prevent new weeds from building up. Thanks again Tony and team!! read more

Tony's landscaping does the neighbors landscaping next door every month and every time they come out they take shortcuts by blowing all debris and fallen leaves onto the neighbors yard instead of raking it up and disposing of yard debris as they are hired to do. If someone hires you to clean up their yard, please clean it up NOT just shove it over to the neighboring properties. Thank you. read more

My upper-back yard was totally taken over with blackberries, weeds, and debris. I also had two overgrown and crumbling raised beds that needed to be removed, not to mention a sinkhole that needed filling. I also needed horrible, prickly, overgrown shrubs removed from the front yard. Tony and his crew dug up every blackberry bush, hauled away all debris, removed the unwanted bushes, trimmed up trees, and did little things that weren't part of the initial agreement--all in one day. Now I have the enviable task of figuring out what to plant in the newly cleared spaces! read more

Tony and his boys are amazing! We bought our home in Puyallup a year ago, and have done very little with regards to the front and back yard except an occasional mow...and boy did it show. He arrived and gave a very friendly estimate that was not the highest or the lowest we received from others. I went with my gut and we were not disappointed. They showed up right on time and got a large mowing, edging, weeding and trimming project done in six hours, including beauty bark. We've got curb appeal again, and our large back yard looks beautiful! I'm already planning my next trimming and fencing project. Thanks, Tony! read more

He asked for phone number to connect directly. Never called, though I responded twice.

Had my backflower replaced. Tony did do extra work to dig a hole so that he can pull out the old preventer, but still, $700 for a backflow preventer placement, The part is less than $200 for sure. Nice work but pricey for me. read more

I had to pass on Tony's Landscaping for a number of reasons. I reached out for repair of our sprinkler system, that had formed a small pond at the rear fence of our home. "Tony," an aged gentlemen who comes across as polite and knowledgeable, lost credibility when he quoted one price to my wife, and a second (higher) quote to me. Further, total credibility was lost when he sought a significant deposit on what amounted to searching for a leak and replacing a bit of PVC pipe. Another contractor came to my home and efficiently located the leak and repaired it at near half Tony's estimate. I really like to see the best in folk, but to be candid, I can't help but think our quote may have gotten a "nice neighborhood" adjustment. read more

Did a great job completely tearing down overgrowth and installing new wood chips. Yard looks great. Prompt service and quick response time.

Was told my house is "out of the way" for his route. If this company doesn't want to travel to Lakewood they should remove Lakewood from the areas that they service. read more

Tony came to give an estimate on cutting down 5 trees. His pricing was right in line with other bids I got. He was very eager and was able to get the job done quickly. His team took down all five trees in a matter of hours and made the sure the yard was cleaned up from the debris. He even replaced some temporary fencing he had to move in order to cut the trees down, and was very mindful in how the fencing was put back up. I thought he and his crew did a great job at a reasonable price. read more

He has to be the hardest working person on the planet ..... like ever!! I saw some previous posts about his high quotes with 2 stars. We are always free to get other quotes and go with a cheaper contractor for sub par work OR we pay for what we get - QUALITY WORK.... yes? He he will do exactly what he promises, and not only that he will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with this work. He came out and took down 7 very large trees in difficult areas to cut. They got them down, cut them into nice size logs, then stacked them nicely so we can burn later in the fire pit. He's got tons of personality, and is so trustworthy. He means what he says and honoring his word is very important to him. He wants to make sure you are happy with his work. We are going to be doing another large job of planting trees along our back fence for privacy. I will be sure to post photos for you all to see. I highly recommend Tony's Landscaping, and let's support these hard workers. read more

My yard was nothing but over-grown weeds, thick roots, and blackberry bushes that would be anyone's nightmare to cleanup. I had called a handful of different landscaping companies in the Puyallup area to inquire about getting this cleaned up ASAP. Tony and his team was very prompt in getting back to me and was able to show up to my house and provide a quote within a couple of hours. At first, he gave me a quote that seemed a bit on the expensive side, but while negotiating the price, he was able to work with my budget and give me a price that we were both happy with. Not only did he perform to my expectations, but he did above and beyond and cleaned up my front yard, as well. The 'Before and After' picture I posted shows just how much of a professional he really is. With a rush job that I requested, most companies gave me a lead time of 8 weeks or longer. Tony came out 2 days after to get the job done. Amazing job! I am so happy with how it turned out. read more

We needed someone to come on short notice to help us prepare our rental property to sell. There was substantial ivy, weeds and shrubbery that hadn't been properly pruned in a few years. Tony and his crew responded quickly and were able to fit us in their schedule quickly as well! They did an amazing job and did not waste any time. I don't think the property has ever looked so neat and clean since we've owned it. Tony and his crew were very nice and hard working. We negotiated a fair price and we are so pleased with the outcome. read more

Reached out to several landscaping companies to do a trim on a couple apple trees and to haul some junk away. He came out and seemed pleasant enough but the quote he gave blew me away. I was quoted initially at $1,700...which I know for a fact is super high. I had some other yard work done where I had two trees completely removed, one tree trimmed and some hedges trimmed for $1,100. He was not doing anything close to that amount of work. When I told him that was way too high he then changed the price to $1,075 and acted like it was a huge favor. I told him to write the quote down so I could compare it to the two other companies I was going to quote me the next day. Both of the other two companies quoted me $500...less than half of his "favor" price and well under 1/3 of his original. This is why it is SOOOO important to get multiple quotes. Otherwise you might get ripped off and not even know it. read more

Great job on the pruning and fast service! Cleaned up after they worked and took all the yard debris with them.

I didn't really end up using Tony's service. Although he was nice and professional over the phone; when he came over to give me rough estimate it started going down hill. The quote was a bit pricy and told him I was going talk it over with my partner. He started asking about personal business and commented about my size. I think I'll take my service elsewhere. read more
