So long as you have a good, NOT basic, understanding of what you want done then Tony will be in and out of there in no time. Tony and his team did a fantastic job. His estimate was quick and reasonable. He got started about a week later and completed the work sooner than stated in our contract. I am first time writing a review on yelp. I hired Tony to complete a brick wall in my yard. I signed a contract with him and paid him deposit. He was failed to show up on the starting date which was shown on the contract. I called him and his explanations was the rainy weather disrupted his work schedule and couldn't come to do my wall on time. ok. it is Mother Nature's fault, I rescheduled another appointment.He promised me to build a wall with three layers of stucco bricks with a flat top. But the wall he built was totally different from what he has promised to deliver. The wall was made with different heights, the middle section is higher than the sides. His explanation was the slope of my yard causing the problem. He didn't mention anything about the slope of my yard when he quoted me a price. I ended up with two options, a) I need to accept the wall which was already made with uneven top or b) I need to pay extra money to make a wall with flat top. The additional amount is non-negotiable. I have to pay about one thousand more than contractual price to get the wall done. He built my wall with scamp work and stint materials. The bottom layer of bricks were unsealed with cracks. The top he built with poor workmanship. If you are interested in hiring him to do your job, please make your own judgment. read more

I hired Tony and his team to install new sod and fix my irrigation system in my back yard. Communication with tony was easy through text. That's the good part. The bad part is he is horrible with keeping appointment times. I had to reschedule our first appointment because he was over an hour late for it. I have seen a lot of people have complained about that from him in other reviews so I shouldn't have been surprised by it. I hired him anyways because I was pleased by his price and time frame it would take to complete the job. The week of our install date we had a a lot of rain so unfortunately we had to reschedule again. Not his fault at all. But the problem was he never reached out to reschedule with me. I had to reach out to him and see if he was free to come out and do the job I hired him for. So we set a date and I thought everything would be great. The night before the job he sends me a text saying the sod wasn't ready and he couldn't do the job. Now you'd think he would have checked before setting the appointment date. But that's just me I guess. So a month later we finally got the job done. The job turned out good. The sod looks nice and irrigation system was fixed in the backyard. Now the bad. For some reason beyond me he cut and capped a valve that runs a potion to my front yard. I reached out to him that he needs to fix this and at first he said they did it because the valve was broken and didn't work and was old. I just replaced the valves myself a year ago so I know that was false. And it was working just fine so the was false. So he finally said he will be out to fix it but he was super busy. I gave him 2 weeks before I contacted him again because it still hasn't been addressed. He said he would be out during the week to fix it. That was on June 6th. Hear we are 3 weeks later and still nothing. This is horrible customer service. read more

I have moved to Ontario recently and decided to start the work on my backyard, then so many dramas had happened until I met this guy Tony. First of all, he did really great work on my backyard. He is a reliable guy and communicative. Landscaping is not as easy as I thought, sometime they say it will take 4-5 days to finish the work, but end up taking longer than that, don't be frustrated, because ordering pavers and making sidewall might take sometime, it worth the wait. I notice all the negative reviews are related to the appointments, but I never had a problem with Tony, he is always on time. So give this guy a shot, he is definitely worth. Tony's associate, Mike came to give an estimate, then Tony missed an appointment to look at it which made me leery about going with them, but I did and am happy with the project now.
