The bad: wing quality, as a bar/grill you'd expect they'd have good wings. These were the fatty breaded wings with very little protein on them that reminds you more of rubber than meat. Over all, nice place , good deals , just pass on the wings pizza and steak.

We were hungry and looking for some good food on the way home from Penn State. I did a quick…read moresearch, and we came across Big Daddy's. There's really not much going on in Lewistown, and it took some time to get to Big Daddy's. When we walked in, people were seated at the bar, and we let the friendly bartender know we were ordering take out. We waited outside (there weren't any places to sit and not much shade in the hot sun). We ordered a Big Daddy's roast beef with chips and Sam's Stingy Chicken Sandwich with a side salad. It took a while for our food. The chicken sandwich was difficult to eat because the stingy honey sauce was a sticky mess. The side salad with poppy seed dressing was good. The roast beef sandwich, which was supposed to come with chips but didn't, came with fries instead. The fries were soggy, greasy, and flavorless. However, the cooper cheese on the roast beef was the star of the show. Quite sadly, we're still on the lookout for a decent place to get take out on the way home from PSU. Any suggestions?

The prices have skyrocketed while the quality of the food has dropped significantly. My biggest issue is the hostile environment. I am a quiet patron who sits, drinks beer, and minds my own business. Not a word out of me.....Yet, the current manager actively harassed me, claiming I was loitering. I think she needs to look the definition of loitering up. I pay for my shit, I sit and drink it. I bother no one. This is absurd for a paying customer, especially when the restaurant rarely has more than a few dine-in families a day. So it's not like I'm taking up space they get more door dash orders than people in their restaurant. I think maybe that's a sign lol. The staff is unprofessional and doesn't know how to treat regulars. I will no longer come here. I know they are probably okay with that lol. But I am too. P.s. Matt is the best cook they have.

The workers are too busy worried about everything but waiting on you. Both times we waited a ridiculous amount of time for our food. This time we were there, they had no chicken. My son ordered their chicken tenders, didn't have them. Then he chose wings, didn't have that. So he chose something else to order. All fine and dandy. I ordered breaded cauliflower, all fine and dandy until it was time for them to bring our food. Now keep in mind, we already waited for 30 minutes (we were the only ones in there) for 3 sandwiches, 2 fries and supposed to be breaded cauliflower. The girl brings our food and says "She just told me that we are now out of breaded cauliflower." Umm what? You literally waited until our food was brought out to tell us what we ordered you're out of? And we won't discuss the mix up at the register when checking out. I know for my family and I we will no longer go back there. This place used to be an awesome place to go, but not anymore. They really need to work a whole lot on their customer service as well.

I personally got the short rib ravioli which had a deep smoky flavor and the most refreshing sauce. The dining area itself is on the smaller side but there was plenty of room to sit. Outside was gorgeous! While that young man who seated us did also make some rude remarks to his co workers, we did bring it up to our waitress and she assured us he was joking. Overall, the total wasn't bad for small town fine dining. When we finished our meal, we enjoyed listening to Uncle Mark and the Chunky Bunch perform some great covers.
