Receipt for the both of us. A real bargain.

My wife and I decided to go here on a Sunday morning for a quick breakfast. This is a no frills small diner in rural Pennsylvania. First the positives: the staff were friendly and responsive, prices extremely reasonable, and the food was tasty and of good portion - especially the pancakes that my wife had but are not pictured. The not so positives: our order was missing requested items (staff did immediately address), the rye "toast" was under done (more bread than toast), the entire place is in need of TLC, especially the carpet which is so soiled that it should be replaced. The bathroom was clean but rundown. Overall, a mom and pop location that offer good food and that is in need of some TLC. The decor and aesthetic condition has not changed since the pandemic. The current owners are approaching their 2nd anniversary in February 2026. With some refreshing this could be a go to top choice. One final note, I asked for hot sauce for my eggs and stated the hotter the better. Nice tasting, but what a kick. I was warned

Love the food here. Small place, big flavor! Food is delicious and dining area is clean. Service is fast and servers are friendly. Here's what we ordered: - Mess: 3 eggs, ham, bell peppers, onions, and home fries, cooked together and topped with American cheese, served with toast. - Grand Slam: 3 eggs, home fries, sausage, and Sticky Bun French Toast - oatmeal - (not pictured) Scrapple Highly recommend.

We had breakfast here this am. The place is a great little diner. It's not fancy but the food is good hot and fast. The customer service is great and it's a friendly environment and lots of locals!! I would totally come here again. I forgot to take pictures but the sticky bun is deff not small!

One of the best places one can go for a great good quality breakfast! Staff are very nice and food is always fresh and tasty! This nice eatery is one you should definitely come to to eat. There are many options to choose from on the menu and each is a good portion size and very filling. Prices are very good and the food quality is exceptional! The dish to try is for sure the Sticky bun, which is very tasty and sweet. The meals and other options are very good as well Come to this place whenever you are in the area. It is a great place with god food and amazing service.

Local old school breakfast place. Food was okay but pretty bland. Seems to be a local favorite. But not for me.

We were planning to get takeout during this pandemic stage, but were pleasantly surprised to see nobody dining in! They don't have many tables, but we only needed one, and their AC was functioning nicely! The menu had so many options-it was tough to choose! My sister and I decided to share a few items so we could sample a little bit of everything! We ordered cream cheese poppers, fish sandwich, hand-cut cheese fries, and grilled chicken salad with homemade ranch. WOW! Portions were generous and service was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! My brother ordered his usual favorite, the taco salad in a crunchy shell bowl. Our server offered him a few choices regarding sauces, dressing, sour cream, etc. The entire meal came out just as we ordered, and she was very attentive throughout the whole meal-and we were there for a long time chatting, hoopin', and hollarin'!!! We didn't feel rushed and cannot wait to come back again. This is a great place for anyone who complains that "there is nothing in Mifflin County"!! Your mind should change...

Jeff and Sally owned this place and they were wonderful. The prices have skyrocketed while the quality of the food has dropped significantly. My biggest issue is the hostile environment. I am a quiet patron who sits, drinks beer, and minds my own business. Not a word out of me.....Yet, the current manager actively harassed me, claiming I was loitering. I think she needs to look the definition of loitering up. I pay for my shit, I sit and drink it. I bother no one. This is absurd for a paying customer, especially when the restaurant rarely has more than a few dine-in families a day. So it's not like I'm taking up space they get more door dash orders than people in their restaurant. I think maybe that's a sign lol. The staff is unprofessional and doesn't know how to treat regulars. I will no longer come here. I know they are probably okay with that lol. But I am too. P.s. Matt is the best cook they have.

The pizza reminded me of the square-shaped Grandma's pizza. Just the right amount of Italian lseasoning, robust sauce, and creamy cheese. Service was fast. The decor is homey. Super-nice, veteran-friendly staff! Love this restaurant. With a full menu that combines homestyle favorites such as open-faced roast beef and pizza, this place is a gem!

The team was always a welcome guest with Vince, the pizza is ALMOST the same. (It USED TO BE when ordering pepperoni you got one pepperoni per slice, that has changed so for the good!) We got a party pizza for take out and one is going to feed 4 big boys. The only catch is that pizza cost $35 where I can get 4 large pizzas at a competitor for about $28. Quality is good though and reminds me of a "Deep Deep Dish" from another place that is no longer in State College (which was the closest location). Several reviews question wait staff (we didn't have that with take out) BUT take out "waiting area" is now limited to a single chair when it WAS a row of about 6 before. Is that due to "social distancing" in 2021? Idk but we all rode together....it would have been nice to wait on our order together. Check out staff WAS on point though and got asked more than once after paying if we were waited on. I DID forget to check my time to see if their wait time was accurate (sorry) but it didn't seem out of line anyways (if they were over it was minor). BTW this was a Sunday after church so they were SLAMMED!
