This place was always our go to. Beer was cold food was always amazing. Not this time. We showed upon a Thursday evening and placed our order for deck fries, and sandwiches. 1st my wife's margarita had so much lime it made you pucker up after every sip. Then our sandwiches showed up, I ordered a cheesesteak which used to be so full I had a hard time finishing it. This time maybe 2 slices of shaved beef. There was more lettuce than meat. My wife ordered the smokehouse which used to be so thick you could barely get you mouth around. This time it was as thick as a McDonald single burger. When asked what changed we were told that the new kitchen manager was making portion control changes and the staff was over filling orders. Have eaten here twice and the food was okay, nothing special. Getting into the place is another story. We have gone on 2 separate occasions and the parking lot was half empty and we were told it was a 45 minute wait. Absolutely ridiculous. Half of the patio was empty. If I'm going to wait 45 minutes for food it better be worth it. Save yourself some time and go to Hungry Run, Shy Bear or the downtown OIP. read more

the food wasn't bad, I think that the service isn't spectacular from the beginning. there was a host & hostess at the hostess stand on Friday Aug 15 & I'm not sure if he was in training but the girl was down right nasty with him telling him to move out of the way & im sorry but as a customer, I don't want to see employees treating others that way, it makes me not want to come back. if you're not kind in your facility I will not be returning. and I believe that extends to kindness between workers and she did this right in front of us so who knows how he is being treated when we're not there. that's ridiculous. read more

I think I may have had the best French onion soup of my life tonight! I burnt every taste bud on the my tongue off in the process but man oh man was it worth it! The soup had the best beefy, savory broth packed full of big onions and draped with a large piece of creamy cheese. I was so tempted to order another crock of it because I didn't want my bowl to end! Wow it was delicious!!! I'm still thinking about it! I ordered the 1/2 lb portion of boneless wings in spicy Parmesan garlic sauce with ranch dressing. The flavor was good but I wouldn't mind the sauce to have a little more kick to it. I love garlic Parmesan and I definitely picked up on those flavors in the sauce. The ranch is homemade and has a very buttery taste with little chunks of veggies all chopped up. It's delicious! I'm all about good wings and I think this place is where you can find them. Called in on September 1, to make a reservation for the following week, for my 40th birthday for a group of 20 people. Upon making the reservation I was asked if we would like to be seated inside or outside. I made it clear to Mindy, the woman whom I spoke with, that outside would be best as it's a large group and we would probably be loud. Fast forward to last night, the date of our reservation, Lexi from Wingman calls an hour before scheduled reservation and asks if it's ok that they keep my reservation outside but away from the railing because of the storm that was happening and I agreed that would be fine. When we get there we are told that they decided to move us inside because of said storm even though people were seated outside, my party and I just went with the flow and sat inside. After about an hour of being there and only having two drinks and some of us none, we were asked to keep it down, we were too loud. We weren't rowdy or arguing. We were laughing and loving the company of faces we haven't seen for a while. We then asked if we could move outside where we were originally supposed to be in the first place. They agreed and we all moved outside. After being outside for less than 5 minutes, my party was told they would serve us anything but beer. Then we were told if we wanted served anymore alcohol we had to order it at the bar and we were not allowed to take any of our drinks back to our table outside. Obviously this did not sit well with any of us. It just didn't make sense. We then asked to speak to a manger and some young kid with a backwards ball cap, sweat shorts and some bum ass t-shirt came out and said there was nothing he could do for us because he has to listen to his bartender. We asked him why they were being this way with us and he said because you guys are too loud and we all tried to explain to him that it is a LARGE group, so of course it was going to be loud and we made them aware of that a week ago. We were then all told we had to go. Some of my party had not even gotten their food yet! I just want to say that Wingman did a lousy job with hospitality and managerial skills. Completely unprofessional and you absolutely lost a ton of business. None of us will ever step foot in your establishment again and we will let others know of our awful experience as well. And I promise you that word of mouth is the best form of advertisement. This place really needs to get their act together. read more

My first visit here and there was some stuff i liked and some I didn't. Over and hour wait to get hour food. Yes we were told that they were behind. But a hour is along time to wait to get our food. There was 0 social distancing.Half of the staff were not wearing mask. That was not a big deal for me. But it might be for others.The food all came out hot. We ordered wings and a bunch of other stuff. Loved almost all of the dry rubs and sauces. The seafood chowder was very good. I would definitely order the same thing again. Her wings were cold and we requested the waitress reheated which she kindly asked did we want new or them reheated . My wings tasted of old grease you could tell the wings were obviously premade and warmed up as ordered which I know some restaurants do on a busy " wing night " but this isn't acceptable on a very slow Monday evening with approximately a dozen other guests in the entire restaurant. We've eaten at Wingman twice now so it's time I put up a review! Overall, we have been very pleased with both our visits. Yes, there are a few minor glitches, as with any newly opened restaurant, but these in no way affected the food or experience. Basically, Wingman is a BBQ restaurant that goes beyond the standard Q. The menu covers items from wings (many sauce selections), dinners-steaks/pasta/seafood, burgers/sandwiches, and most of all BBQ. We've sampled a variety of items including the BBQ; The tumbleweed appetizer mimics a bloomin onion, but better because the individual petals are coated, fried, and remain crisp, instead of cooking the whole onion together, which results in a greasy mess. The Burgers are very good, cooked perfectly, and served on a toasted bun! The T-Rex was amazing-a burger with bacon, pulled pork, cheddar cheese, onion straws and bbq sauce!! The Chili Cheese Champion burger was topped with their famous chili and cheddar cheese-very good also. Both these burgers include unlimited fresh cut fries! Wingman has a full bar with a nice selection of beers on tap, bottle, and specialty cocktails. Now the BBQ...I am picky with BBQ, but was pleasantly surprised with Wingman's. We ordered the feast for two, which included pulled pork, brisket, ribs, chicken, beans, cornbread, and slaw. You can pick from any of their sauces, which are then served on the side. The rub used on the meat was not overpowering and allowed the natural flavors to come through. The ribs were very tasty, pulled off the bone easily, and needed no sauce. Same as the brisket, nicely cooked and needed no sauce. The pork was also good along with the chicken quarter, which was cooked perfectly. Overall, I have to say the BBQ is at the top of the list for the Lewistown/Burnham area. Service can be a bit slow, but until all the kinks get worked out it was not that big of a deal. We are looking at trying some of the other items on the menu and are very pleased to have this new restaurant option in the area! read more

So I have gone here twice now and have yet to experience their wings oddly. We've gotten the nachos ( pulled pork nachos) and essentially their version of a bloomin onion (tumbleweed) I definitely recommend getting the nachos which will fill you up. I've gotten the brisket sandwich with the insanely BBQ which wasn't that hot. Note they do have endless fries! For burgers, Make sure to add how you like your meat cooked. We've tried the Trex which is tons of meat and the Smokin Guns. If you need a quick place to stop, quick service and good food, Here's your place! Will update when I try the wings! read more

Prior to last nite and the event they held, I would have mistakenly rated them higher. They advertised an event for months but they claimed to know nothing about tickets. They took our reservation for a certain set of tables on their deck. I continued to try to get tickets but they kept claiming they weren't releasing them yet. Finally the Monday of the week of the event they notified via Facebook that they were ready. Supposedly online, the site wastn't working. On Tuesday, we made a specific trip (1 hour, 10 minutes one way) and bought tickets and once again confirmed our reservation. I drove home from Va. beach that day to join the party. 20 minutes out I got a call from one of our group that our reservation had been cancelled. They tried to accommodate us with high top tables, while that worked for most. I am disabled and can't do a high top chair. They offered to lift me in and out if the chair. No way was I going to be embarrassed by my disability by doing that, there second solution was a low chair at the high table. I looked like a small child at the adult's table. By then I was embarrassed beyond belief and in tears. I sat with my chair turned away from the group and was unable to partake with the group. Their final reward for a sucky embarrassing solution was to charge each of us $10 for the privilege of sitting on the deck. I tried to call to complain only to be told the "manager" is out of town. This place will never get a recommendation or another cent from us. read more

I had a specialty cocktail called Hawaiian Tea and it was awesome... pineapple and coconut with 2 types of rum. Wings are about my favorite eat out food. I was happy and disappointed at the same time. The wings were not crispy enough for my taste. The were not floppy skinned but not crispy. For their specialty they need to learn to make them more crispy. The Garlic Parmesan was good but not nearly as good as the same at Buffalo Wings and Things or Quaker Steak and Lube. The Teriyaki sauce was very salty tasting; terrible. The Sweat Carolina sauce was the best of the three and very good! My sweet potato fries were very pleasant; I liked those . My data plan is about out and they do not offer WiFi for their customers. In this day an age, that is a disappointment. 8-(. The bread pudding is excellent, although the ice cream was almost melted. For wings, stick with The Italian Chef in Utica, NY or a wild Wings and Things or Quaker Steak and Lube. My wings here were good but not excellent which I expected since it is their specialty. Oh of the 15 wings, I ordered, 9 were spit bone and only 6 were drumetts; of course wing drums are preferred. A better split would be better. read more

Have been waiting for months for this to open, was not disappointed, the place was packed but the hostess kept things moving sat at the bar wife had a designer drink the rest had a good section of beers, then the menu it was huge great selections wings were great the brisket was to die for the best I ever had and I've had all over the east coast and everyone has pulled pork but this was a different level, Stopped again, went early to beat the rush and to get back to fishing, great atmosphere everyone is smiling, always tough to chose from the great selections on the menu went brisket and bockwurst with bourbon bbq sauce fantastic Coleslaw and ranch beans just as good, I know it's tough to find parking and during the rush you'll have to wait but they do a good job of seating as fast as they can, stop by and give it a try. read more

So, my husband and I went here to eat and when we got seated. The waitress took our order and we were excited to see what the servings were like and how people boost about The Wingman. First off we couldn't hear each other talking because there was a group there very loud and obnoxious, the whole time we were there. I know if I were the owner or manager of the place I would asked them to keep it down. So with that said our food arrived. We were to get a 1 lb of snow crab legs, 1 lb of shrimp and 2 orders of fries lets just say this we had got two clusters of legs that had maybe 4 legs and very small. The shrimp was okay but could have been a little bigger. And the serving of fries we got were like the size of a dollar fry you get at McDonald's. We were seated right away when we arrived but then waited for 30 minutes for anyone to come take a drink order or even acknowledge we were there. A waitress then came to take our drink order apologized for the wait and said she would give us a discount for their making us wait. Long story short, no discount no offer to refill our "endless" fries, and full price on our appetizer even though the promo was 1/2 price apps. I didn't make fuss when the check came. My grandfather used to say you can't complain about the service when there isn't any. We were seated right away and a waitress took our drink order, that's where it went downhill. We waited 20 min. but she never returned with drinks or to take our order. There were several other waitresses milling around but not one acknowledged us sitting with menus and NO drinks. We left when we overheard another waitress tell a coworker she had a table and that waitress said "I don't want it ". I have written a review on this before, but for some reason, it was not retained or posted. We have been here a couple times. I have to be honest and say, the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired. We arrived and were seated both times but nobody paid any attention to us for about a half hour. We had no drinks, and only one menu. When the waitress came she took our drink orders and disappeared for another ten minutes. She did take our orders, but didn't seem to notice we had no utensils and I had to ask for a straw. The food was ok, the wings just did not cut it for me or my husband but the ribs were good. Not great, but good enough to get me back again. After we finished, we sat quite a while both times waiting for our check, even though napkins were on our plate or basket to make it clear we needed our check. We went back again thinking maybe we just had a bad experience. It wasn't crowded at all the first time we went so i am not sure what all the hold up was. The second time we got in just before the crowds and ran into the same thing. Nobody came to check on us the whole time so how would we ask for more endless fries? Or a drink refill? or a napkin, or a straw or anything for that matter. I will probably visit again, but it would hope they fix some of the problems. Don't get me wrong, the wait staff is nice, but not just not attentive. Oh, and our fries were cold. Both times. This restaurant/bar could be so much more. I hope they fix all the issues including the slim parking and the dangers of pulling out directly onto a highway from a parking spot. Accident waiting to happen. They also need to figure out more parking. They are well equipped to handle disabled patrons with a nice ramp into the building. Everyone should go here at least once and see what you think.
