Service was 10/10 and super cute inside! The food was eh! Could've had more flavor and the prices were kind of outrageous. We ordered shrimp and crab, stuffed mushrooms, 5 for $18... and couldn't even taste or see shrimp or crab in them. The pasta was a little watery and flavorless. The pizza was good! The bartender John was amazing and super friendly! We would probably only come back for drinks and maybe a pizza.

I hate to be like this, but this food was not good. It's another Italian American spot charging you way too much for sub par food. When ordering chicken Alfredo, I was excited after being asked if we wanted it the authentic way or American way (with cream). We ordered it the authentic way and got a dry chicken cutlet on buttered noodles with a pesto garnish. They charge 24 dollars for that pasta. They charge 14 for bread and bruschetta!?!? The prices are outrageous. My Burrata salad was really good at least, would recommend trying that at least. It's a no for me, and I wouldn't waste your time or money here unless you like subpar Italian American food. On another note, everyone was extremely helpful and nice. Our waitress answered all our questions and looked into substitutions when we asked . It's looks really nice on the inside too. Could be an awesome small town place if they can figure out the food.

Excellent!!! Great service, great location and ambiance. The previous Italian place here was awful, think COVID really did a number on it. Happy to see something great here since we are local.

When we walked in we were immediately greeted and were able to choose our seat. We opted for a custom pizza with mushroom, caramelized onions, and sausage. The crust was thin and super crispy, just how a like it albeit a tad burnt in some spots (but I think that's unavoidable with brick oven places). The caramelized onions gave the pizza an interesting sweetness and the cheese to pizza ratio was spot on. We also got a Hot Pastrami sub, which, if you don't like horseradish then this isn't for you. Horseradish flavor is definitely strong but also they did not skimp on the pastrami. Part of the bread was also burnt but the texture was still that nice combo of crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. We did bus our own tables but the service staff behind the ordering counter was really nice and offered to walk us through the menu. I saw pics of the baked ziti which looked amazing but unfortunately they no longer serve due to not enough orders. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're in the area and craving pizza!

The place itself has a really cozy vibe--dim lighting, colorful décor, and everything was clean and well put together. We ordered a medium pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese, along with wings, all for a very reasonable price--and it was absolutely worth it. The pizza quality was outstanding: crispy crust with a slight char from the wood-fired oven that really elevated the flavor and it just tasted really fresh compared to a lot of other places I've tried. During our visit, Linda came by while we were eating and was incredibly friendly, polite, and charismatic. She made sure we had everything we needed and created a very warm, welcoming experience. You could tell she cares about the customers and the people she works with! Overall, everything--from the food to the atmosphere to the people--was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back again!

I shared a cheese pizza with my daughter, my mother had the chicken piccata, my cousin the gnocchi, my father the chicken parm, my cousin had a caprese salad and the further seats I couldn't see. We all shared a few orders of the calamari. EVERYONE raved about how delicious their food was. I agree. Probably the best piccata I've tasted. The pizza was excellent. The tiramisu great. The biggest hit for me was the suppli appetizer. These are absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly! Similar to arancini but somehow even more delicious. These are a must-order. I had the pasta alla vongole and a bite of my husband's chicken parmigiana. Our friend had mushroom ravioli that she loved, but I didn't try as I don't care for mushrooms. I've been on a clams and garlic kick lately for some reason and the vongole comes with these and bonus bacon. I would have preferred the bacon a tad crispier, but that is personal preference. I'd give this dish 4* - I would get it again but after trying some others. From the one bite the chicken parmigiana was a 5*. Their marinara is very good and the linguine in both our dishes tastes freshly made. We all split the chocolate temptation dessert and I ate more of it than I expected to, it is chocolate mousse adjacent cake with ganache frosting, very light, perfectly sweet. Often I find chocolate desserts too much after a big meal but this one wasn't heavy at all. 5* My friend ordered sangria which she thought was more like a wine cooler; too sweet for her French oenophile sensibilities and a bit lighter than a sangria usually is, but I am a pleb who loves sweet drinks and I would order it. If you are a sangria purist you might not care for it. Hubs enjoyed his old fashioned but said it needed a dash more bitters to be perfect. I was driving so enjoyed a non-dirty Shirley. Prices to me are reasonable for quality and portion size; our tab ended up high because of the appetizer, drinks and dessert but if you just had pizza or pasta with soda it would be pretty affordable. I will be back to get more suppli and try other dishes!

It's great!" Needless to say that it was an overpriced mush of a dish. There was no texture to the dish. At first sight it looked like a generous helping of food, about 6 pieces of eggplant with spaghetti. However, there was no texture to the deep fried eggplant, no crunch, no flavor, disappointing. Spaghetti was normal, nothing special. The pizza. Not shown, was also disappointing. There's so many other better options close by, prob won't come back.

The waitress I had was so sweet and their guest service coordinator constantly checked in with a warm attitude. I got the focaccia and was between the girasoli and spaghetti pomodoro. The leek and lettuce within the lemon butter sauce was to die for, and the girasoli itself was pleasant and unforgettable. The focaccia was also SO FLUFFY. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to while I lived in DC, because to be honest, I never got in an Italian mood. Now that I no longer reside in the DC area, I use every visit to eat my faves and occasionally a new spot. So, after another popular (and cheaper) Italian place closed before I could finish my delivery order, I spotted L'Ardente. I ordered the famous Lasagna - their 40-layer specialty - with short rib sugo, truffle mornay, and Sottocenere Cheese. The truffle mornay added a smooth, melty, creamy cheese sauce. It is good, but I am not sure if it is worth the hype at $40 lagnasa. I think the cost is built into the work but not the flavor profile. I think the meal is better without the sauce - it made it too salty with it.

Moving on it was a large group of us but we got separate checks in couples yet 20% tip was added anyways. The main disappoint was the food. Broccoli ched soup - Was not mixed enough had a pile of cheese at the bottom not melted in Crab soup - Really chunky and too thick, not soup thickness. Pasta with shrimp - shrimp still had the tails on. Sauce to pasta ratio was way off literally drowning like thin soup and overall it just tasted like garlic. Short ribs pasta - Tasted like veal or some "wild" meat, when questioned the waitress didn't even know if it was beef, veal or "pig" (LOL) Lasagna - Tasted like frozen Stoffer's box, literally. Hamburger - Decent, but average and also not what we came for. Breadsticks were 5/5, best thing I ate there! and desserts were massive I mean enough for 3 people each but just ok tasted almost frozen or just really really cold or not thawn. I think what's worse is we told the waitress we didn't like some of the dishes and there was nothing in return besides "I'm sorry." They did offer to box our leftovers and give us breadsticks to go, that's the reason for 2 stars, instead of 1. Big disappointment after seeing some of the other older great reviews. But more recent reviews also state the food is bland / tasteless, and we agree. We won't be returning here. I don't suggest it.
