No difficulty finding parking. The office is set up nicely with a comfortable couch, very much what I envisioned a therapist office would look like. Couples like us instead of calmly talk to one another; there were a lot of pointing finger and blaming the other person. David meditated and reframe what we were trying to communicate to our partner without the condemnation, anger, and accusation. He taught us tools, gave us homework (exercises) to work on that are so applicable and transferable to our daily lives. He learned about us through the sessions and helped us to see the person we felt in love with. From time to time, we still utilize his service to fine tune these skills to communicate effectively and productively, to really listen and hear the other person, and to try to see from our partner's perspective. While David is great for couples counseling, he is also wonderful for individual counseling. Both my husband and I have benefited from individual counseling with him, specifically my husband as he felt comfortable talking through things with David. My husband was raised in a strict household and as a man, was not taught and encouraged to express his emotions and talk about his feelings. I've finally partnered up with Natasha to help me get my health and fitness on track. I've been…read moreworking with her for the last 8 weeks and it has been such a refreshing experience. I've known of Natasha for a while and I know she is passionate about overall wellness and knows her stuff! I've never had the guts to move forward with working with a trainer on a regular basis before because my experiences here and there with gym trainers wasn't a good fit for me when I tried it and was discouraged from trying them again. I've been following Natasha on Instagram and decided to give it a shot! Now, I am not an athletic person and I love food! Natasha has helped me tweak my diet to where I am still eating great tasting food but cutting out the food that isn't so great. She also does the same with my exercise routines which is great because that is probably the hardest part for me personally. Her approach is very welcoming and encouraging for me to keep at it. She does regular check in with me and also finds creative ways for her clients to partner and support each other as well through boot camps and other types of varies events. Specifically, we did a Soul Cycle group event together which was AMAZING! So far, I've lost a little over 10 lbs and have been able to maintain it and I am enjoying the pace. I have another 10 lbs to go! I am also able to take the things I learn from Natasha and implement a healthier lifestyle for my family! My son has even started going to the gym on his own because he sees his momma trying!
