When I visited this office recently, they had disposed of all their old records and denied corrective surgery that I described never happened. The link below describes the exact procedure however (quoting) Before 2009, medical adjunctive approaches to prevent neovascularization and future recurrence of pterygium included application therapy with beta radiation. (UPDATE) The benefit of beta radiation is that is exhibits very low penetration, thus the radioactive source was shaped to expose primarily the pterygium with little to no radiation exposure to the cornea. The Physician who argued this topic owes me an apology. So... It's disturbing enough that they disposed of my old medical records, but they were excessively rude; accusing me (in essence) of fabricating my medical history by pioneer surgeon Dr. Richard Sussel. I write this in memory of the fabulous Dr. Richard Sussel and the impact he achieved on my visionary health.

The woman in charge of contacts demanded that I get her my previous eye measurements from previous eye doctors. Since I recently moved from California I contacted two ophthalmologists that I used there but no response from them . I have never had an eye doctor demand that I get previous measurements. Aren't you confident of Dr. Warden's ability to measure my eyes? So now it's been weeks and I still don't have new contacts. I will find somewhere else to go. 3 stars because the doctor herself was fine. Will report to my insurance of refusal to prescribe me lenses.

I had post laser capsulotomy on my right eye last week at the Glaucoma Eye Center 5550 Sterrett…read morePlace, Suite 312 Columbia MD 21044, with Dr. Anshu Sinha. A post-procedure evaluation was scheduled for one week after the surgery to see the Dr who performed the procedure. The third day of the surgery, I called the office to report blurry vision and floaters as per the instruction from the office. The receptionist informed me that the ophthalmologist who performed the procedure advised me to come in on the scheduled appointment date for her evaluation. I accepted and waited for the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, Dr. Sinha was not there. Instead, another doctor, optometrist, saw me. She put a couple of drops in both eyes, examined them, and then asked me when I am planning another surgery on my left eye. She seemed unaware of the purpose of my visit, did not read my history, and had no knowledge of my complaints. I asked why I was there, and she said it was for a check-up. A check-up of what? She had no clue. Having worked in the medical field all my life, I believe the first thing to address during follow up appointment in my current case should have been the evaluation of post-laser procedure status of my eye and any further advice. However, that did not happen. Ideally, the ophthalmologist who performed the procedure should have been present. The person who saw me has not even reviewed my case. I said I am here today to evaluate my right eye condition after the procedure. The person who came to see me said, in that case I have to dilate your eye and wait for some time. I said what about those drops you just instilled into my eyes. She said, those are just to measure intraocular pressure. I said, What? Excuse me! It was very frustrating, and I left the office, because this type of service provision is totally unacceptable and unethical. Every profession deserves respect, but the health profession is unique because it deals with precious human lives. Taking care of someone's eyes is not the same as working in a nail salon. No one wants to lose their vision due to negligent, business-oriented professionals. I am writing my experience for people to be aware of, and for the clinic to be aware of their unethical approach and improve if they are willing to. M.Sertse

I'm pretty sure the laser caused permanent damage. I can not read any printed documents out of that eye now, even though I had no problem reading a book with simple drugstore reading eyeglasses before this treatment. I tested my eyes reading text before this laser rx by reading with both eyes with and without glasses. But after a month of blurry vision in that lasered eye my appointment today was disappointing. They said it's probably more macular atrophy from their scans, and I need to see a specialist in retinal ophthalmology? I had no problem reading with or without glasses before this laser rx, I would not recommend them doing any laser treatments rx for eyes.
