The inspections they perform are also unmatched. Providing their findings and recommendations using pictures and organized categories based on priority is very helpful when it comes to making decisions. I Yelped for quotes on alternator repair; CBA was one of the providers Yelp suggested. I don't…read morerecommend them. Period. Summary: Cost -- 30% - 50% higher higher than other providers. Communication -- slow to respond, several instances of completely ignoring my contacts / questions. They didn't offer critical info / details when it should have been provided. Time Issues -- took my car in midmorning Thursday and didn't get it back until midday the following Monday. A five hour wait just to hear confirmation the problem was the alternator, which could have been provided in less than half hour. Details: COST: $1616 total for alternator replacement. $447 for remanufactured alternator. $94 for 2 gallons of antifreeze. A new alternator can be had for less (half the) money. They didn't offer / discuss any options on this choice of parts. Not typical in my experience. There's a spectrum of quality and cost on any auto part, so usually parts choice usually involves a discussion. Nope, the topic of choices didn't come up. They'll likely say the couldn't offer their "3 year warranty" on a cheaper part. Blah blah blah. Ask me if there's choices on what it costs me, don't assume. And $94 for 2 gallons of coolant?!? It's currently $10 / gal. from Walmart. So, a 400% markup? This gets to me because it's so obvious a gouging. It makes me wonder -- Where else I'm being gouged that's not something I can readily see??? Anyway, let's review CBA website where it's gushing about having my "best interests in mind", shall we? A 400% mark-up is needlessly not in my best interests. Anyway, from other shops I got repair estimates (parts + labor) ranging from mid-$700's to $1100. Brakes Plus quoted me (in person -- after the fact) "out the door" of $868. So, yeah, I got gouged going with CBA. COMMUNICATION: Besides the Yelp project no responses, my texting with them (at their promoting me to text any questions) was unsatisfactory. Unprompt responses, no responses to at least half my my texts. Ignoring a question altogether? Sheesh. TIME ISSUES: They were all over me checking in my car ASAP, which ended up being 10:30. 'They'd do the diagnostic and get back with me.' Well, my timeline experience with repair like this: Tech plugs in the code reader, gets the codes, looks up them. 10 minutes for that. Lookup parts + labor costs. 10 more minutes? Gives me a call. If it's reasonable, I approve it and they start the work. Tech calls me if there's something else to discuss / suggest. We talk it over, but meanwhile the repair doesn't get put off. But with CBS an hour after the check-in (they were in a helpful hurry to do), I texted them. "Are you sending the diagnosis?" 30 minutes later: "Yes'. Well, FIVE hours after check-in, they finally text " your report is ready." 'Yes, it's the alternator, plus here's the diagnostic list (inferred: of everything else we want to sell you).' Service manager calls me, we review the report that LISTED NO COSTS AT ALL (yes , I'm yelling -- this is not "transparency" [a word they toss about a lot], this is manipulation). My wife and I understood him to say the cost would be $1018 or something close to that. I say something like, "Okay, do the repair. Send me a breakdown of all the other stuff. It's so close to closing time you won't get the alternator done tonight, so I have time to look over the list and see what else I might approve, right?" He agrees, "Yes, take your time." Subsequently I looked at the separate report with actual estimates. Shocking. The "$1018" was actually $1564. I made the mistake of hesitating to approve the repair, result of which bumped me behind another car. Final result -- they had my car from 10:30 on Thursday until midday on Monday -- for a 4-6 hour job. There's more I could gripe about, but I'll shut up now. Bottom line, I understand making a profit, but this profit was out of line. I will say that everyone was very pleasant to interact with. But someone can be nice to your face and still be less than competent in helping you. Someone can act friendly even while over charging you. Fun Fact: they sent me Tell Us How We Did link before they had even done the repair. I went to use the link a day or two after I had my car back. But the link had expired. I'd rather have given them a chance to address things in private but I got timed out -- in error, I'd say.

They're friendly, accommodating and communicate promptly. Scheduling an appointment is easy and hassle-free. It's a true joy dealing with them. This is undoubtedly a First Class operation. However, while this branch is fine for basic services like oil changes, tire rotations, and the like, I'm hesitant to recommend them for any complicated automotive repairs or diagnostics. I took my Jeep there for a persistent issue, and after four visits and significant expense, the problem remained unsolved. They have a tendency to throw parts at problems rather than accurately diagnose the source of an issue, despite charging high market diagnostic fees. One of my repairs was left unfinished and the vehicle had to be returned for the job to be completed. They comped me a free oil change and OEM gas cap after the mishap, but considering I'd spent nearly $4,000 in only a few months, it seemed appropriate. One more positive note. While it's not uncommon to be required to leave your vehicle for a week or more at some shops, AAA gets you in and out faster than any shop I've used in recent memory. When you're dealing with an Every Day Vehicle, alacrity is worth a great deal.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.

I'm extremely disappointed that I even have to write a review like this…read more I recently brought my truck into this shop to have the A/C checked it was blowing warm. They told me they could not find any issues so they did a drain and recharge with dye. $600 I asked for a copy of the machine report breaking down amount removed amount put in. I was told they would email it they never did. After picking it up, I drove straight home and parked it. Today, I opened my center console and discovered that my coin holder was missing. This wasn't something loose that could have accidentally fallen out or been misplaced. It was mounted into the center console and required effort to pry out and remove. It was taken. I contacted the shop and spoke with Eric. He told me he checked the technician's toolbox and said it wasn't there, suggesting that I must have misplaced it. That explanation simply doesn't make sense given how securely the holder was installed. What's most concerning is that if someone felt comfortable removing and taking something as minor as a coin holder full of change, it raises serious questions about what else could potentially be happening with customers' vehicles and belongings. Eric suggested I file a police report and stated that their employees are "too busy to steal." I'm not looking to get anyone into legal trouble over a coin holder, but I do expect honesty, accountability, and respect for customers' property. This experience has completely broken my trust in this shop. I will not be returning for future repairs or service, and now I'm left questioning whether the work performed on vehicles is even being done properly especially since I never got the email. To current and future customers: I strongly recommend removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before bringing it here. Update June 5th it's been over two weeks since speaking with a district manager. He was able to pull up and send me the work that was done to my vehicle. I was over charged for the service "performed" he then told me I would receive a refund for the overcharge of service. I reached out to customer service about it then Nick Lee called again informing me they would refund me the over charge in another way but still nothing yet. At this point I want my money back for it all this is a joke! They take my belongings They over charge me They tell me false information Stay clear of this place

Repair worked great and it was easy, I even financed a portion of the bill with easy pay. HOWEVER, just when I thought I had found a company that was easy and trustworthy that quickly changed. In March I had to return...our vehicle started to die off when we would add gas or cold start. So we decided to bring it back after our initial visit. The service advisor Jay was polite, responsive and friendly. After the next few hours I got the call that it was a code P2188 - EVAP purge valve and it needed to be replaced because it no longer functioned and was stuck in place. They also told us we needed an oil change based on the sticker in the car even though it was old. We had an oil change not even more than two/three months prior but they even took a photo of the sticker and sent it to me. They were sure to mention that this was all they found but it may not fix the problem. We ended up doing this, $800 later and still not fixed. This did not work. The very next morning we brought it back. They proceeded to check their work on the new part and then tried to recreate the problem for a new diagnosis. Then we get the call, it's the fuel pump and the oil. They wanted $800 for the fuel pump and around $200 for the premium oil change both were recommended. There was other fees of course but they deactivate the quotes after your service so you can't see them. I was not happy that I had to spend more money after the first time, BUT now I just felt they were pulling my chain. I was asking so many questions and they changed their story, called me multiple times asking about the same things I explained. It just felt scammy. The industry has a pretty bad rap for being a scam and overly aggressive pricing and sales and this is what I experienced. Needless to say after paying the $200 inspection fee and the $800 valve, I didn't trust them to do the end job. I bought the fuel pump for $200 at autozone and fixed it myself, and it worked. I will NEVER use Christian Brothers again. Also, if you are the owner/manager, please don't comment on this post the same copy/paste response you do to everyone else. Also, your technicians also left my car lights on!
