Called this company who was too busy to come himself so--without my fore knowledge-- he arranged for another company to come. The man who came could not communicate in English. This should have been simple job using pick to open bathroom door locked from inside. The guy ended up cracking my door frame. Tom offered to repair the frame, but understandably I did not want any more of his subcontractors working at my house. He also offered to personally come to my house. I asked him to please do so. He said he would, but that he had a job to do and would come to house after that job. That was two full days ago. Have not seen nor heard from him. So, from other reviews, apparently if Tom comes to your home you get good service, but my personal e,perience is such that I will never call this company again. read more

This is a type of business where you hope you're not a repeat customer but crap happens! I got out of work early and was rushing home to get stuff done on a Friday and locked myself out...fun stuff. So a friend of mine unfortunately closed his trunk with the keys in the back at 9PM.....We turned to yelp. I called Tom on my friend's behalf and had him come out to help us unlock his door to get to the trunk. He quoted us a reasonable price. Tom was very responsive and came out in a timely matter. Roughly 10 minutes or so. He was able to unlock the car very quickly and even help us disable the alarm to open the trunk because the trunk release latch was electronic ( If you have an electronic trunk release latch and your alarm is going off, you wont be able to open your trunk without disabling the alarm). Man, are these guys great! I called to get an evaluating but never made an appointment. Mistake. But when I called again, they very politely agreed to show up on very short call. Less than half an hour later, Tom showed up with his magic tools. Tom is a wizard! He knows his stuff. My car key snapped IN THE IGNITION! The car would still go--but for how long? After getting my wallet, keys, and some other stuff lifted out of my golf cart by some jackass....my car was stranded since i only have one set of keys. Dealer told me I'd need to tow it to a dealership to get keys made for a few hundred dollars, and then they'd be able to reprogram some FOBs for another few hundred. Tom reproduced a Micro-Chip key in the golf course parking lot, gave me a back-up key for half price and then told me where to buy FOBs and how to program them myself. Out the door $275. Poor service, defective key fobs.

Do not call this company. While the work was good, the pricing was outrageous. I called arount to find out how much it would cost to open a lock. I was told by this company that it would be $45. However, they couldn't just jimmy it and leave, so I was told it would need to be drillled. That extra 15 minutes brought the price up to $160! Then it was another $55 for a new doorknob and lock so that the door would stay closed!! Then another $35 on top of that to install it!!! So the $45 I was told on the phone came to $250!!!! The guy said others might be cheaper, but they wouldn't be as good. How good do you have to be to drill out a lock and put in a new doorknob? read more

Don't believe an original estimate of cost. We had an estimate of $50 ($15+$35) but when the locksmith showed up he charged $15+$95 for a less than 2 minute unlock. The locksmith showed up very fast (1 hr) but since we were out of town and calling to let our representative in, I think he took advantage of the situation. read more

Their rep came out to open a small office attached to a garage and charged over $100 (invoice has poor penmanship but I think it is $130) to unlock a door. Invoice lists it as "emergency home lockout" but both my parents (79 and 93 yrs old) were in the house. Last time a locksmith came out it was $60 total for the same thing but this place charged $168 total ("emergency" + service call fee) and wasn't even the locksmith my mother called. I was not home else I would have said something. Be sure you get an upfront quote from whomever you call and then double check when they arrive that you won't be overcharged. If my father hadn't paid cash I would put a hold on the credit card charge. read more
