Overall, I'm very pleased with McNeilly Automotive Service, and I would recommend them!

Definitely recommend.

Junior initially talked me through the issue on the phone as I was supposed to drive out of town the next day just to make sure it wasn't emergent. They called about 3 hours later and let me know it was done. When they realized this was the only issue, they decided not to charge me. I really appreciate their transparency and good will. Will definitely use them for future car needs because of their honest service. Advise calling in advance for an appointment.

The service is exactly what you're asking for and the price is more than reasonable. Actually, I would consider the work to be significantly better quality and the price to be very competitive compared to several other garages by me. It's worth a $30 Uber ride each way to this auto shop to have John's team service my vehicle. I won't go anywhere else in the future.

I would need to get the back within an hour or two, and I would have to wait in the shop or nearby until it's completed. The guy blew me off and said "if you want you can bring it in tonight and drop it off or tomorrow morning and I can take a look at it for you." I said ok sounds good thank you. The next day rolls around and I have an appointment in the early afternoon. The owner didnt sound interested in my time frame, and it seemed like it didnt really matter if i brought my car in or not that day. I decided to take it there immediately after my appointment. Upon arrival there were no cars in the shop at all. It was an hour before closing, and the guy was just standing at the counter. I said "hey man do you work here?" He says he is the owner. I said ok I called yesterday. He says "well you can just get the f*** out for wasting my time" and im like "whoa buddy i dont know what the issue is. I dont see any other cars here." He says "i expected you to be down here and I didnt schedule any other work because I thought you would show up and now you wasted my time and my money" i told him "yeah I understand how that could be frustrating but i didnt think it was a firm appointment, you didnt really make it seem like it was set in stone" and he just proceeded to tell me that i should have just picked up the phone (he never even tried to call me if that were the case) and he basically just told me to get the f*** out and that he wouldn't work on my car. Funny enough this is the second time I tried to take my car here. The first time I tried doing business with him he treated me like an idiot on the phone and was very belittling, BUT he did a diagnostic on my car and helped me get to the bottom of an issue i was having. He never did any work on my car so I cant speak to his mechanic abilities but WOW is his customer service skills terrible!
