To avoid any further disspaotment from my child i called ahead to make sure they would be open. The owner is who answered the phone and when I shared they may have an employee who is closing early without her knowlege and she was frustrated and ultimately hung up without saying goodbye. I will never understand why business owners show their patrons attudue. She sounded young so maybe she will mature over time resulting in better business standards.

It most definitely gets you over a craving for ice cream, but without that WOW factor as other places I've mentioned. Another point I'd like to say is the toppings in the flurries could be a LOT more generous. A recent Twix flurry of mine, 98% vanilla ice cream, 2% Twix. The gelato itself had the exact mouth feel you expect from a authentic gelato. It was creamy and when rolled across your tongue melted instantly. It was lightly flavored of peach and topped with cinnamon. I mixed the cinnamon into the gelato to eat. I like how they topped it with a little cookie. Fair price for the quality of the gelato at $3.50 for one flavor. If I see them out and about again I will for sure stop over to get some.

We sampled the walnut chocolate chip cookie and the kringles. They were delicious! After making our purchases at the bakery, we went to partake in the Sunday breakfast buffet. If you're seated before 8:45 am, they take 20% off your brunch charge. The buffet was delicious and offered so much variety! Our server was very friendly and helpful. We were in Appleton and I realized they had a storefront so we stopped in. The store is small but has a selection of cheese, milks and local products as well as Lamers merch and some souvenirs. They sell servings of ice cream and have a couple of tables where families were enjoying their treats and visiting. We got some milk, cheese and chocolates. I'm looking forward to picking up some of their heavy whipping cream and half and half, all of which all of which are made from their rBGH-free milk. Good stuff from Wisconsin!
