She didn't properly take care of my cuticles, and my extensions are peeling and it's only been a day. She never even put lotion on my hands at the end because another customer came in and she needed to move over to them. Worst part was that she took the files, cuticle trimmer, and other materials she used on me directly to the next customer (I saw it because she started to work on her in the seat next to me) which was pretty gross.

We have all used different nail technicians and can honestly say we have never been disappointed! The salon is clean and airy, providing a welcoming atmosphere. I've enjoyed various services, including powder dip manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow waxes, all have been amazing. Linna, my go-to nail technician, is incredibly talented and attentive. What sets Aura apart are the thoughtful extras included, like the hot neck and shoulder massage, sugar scrub hand wash, and soothing paraffin hand treatment. As I age, it actually gets harder to cut my own toe nails and also, I'm a huge sucker for a good leg massage. We have been trying several salons all around the area and we think Aura is becoming our new home. They are super welcoming when you walk in and the service was top notch. Some salons I've been in felt like forced small talk but it didn't really here at all. It's very clean and bright inside, they have only been open for around a year so this is to be expected. I had a $65 package of a spa pedicure. Tucked into my comfy massage chair, I usually drift off for a bit until I'm told I need to switch legs back into the warm water. There is also an exfoliation scrub involved, a leg massage (maybe an add on? Regardless I'm always in for this part) and then even a short shoulder massage at the end. Look guys, if you're reading this and try it....you'll eventually wonder what took you so long. I'm pro-pedicure now and while I rarely see guys in the spas doing so on the regular, I know I have privately talked to many who have at least tried it before and really dug it. Of course you're not going there for bright cherry nails, you're simply going for some body maintenance.

Even after I told them I did nothing to break the nail on my own (didn't hit it against anything), it just broke randomly because it was a low quality job initially. One of the best parts of my visits is having time with my sister. This is her spot where she gets her nails done on the regular. She was a nurse and keeps her nails natural and at a reasonable length. I say this because I also have natural nails and I RARELY allow a manicure at a nail salon because I have discovered time and again that it is a waste of money as they barely do a thing so a few days after I look like I never went to begin with. It was amazing how they treated my natural nails as great as places do for the fake nails because i have only encountered that here. During this visit I was a total tragedy and was apologizing for the horrific state of my feet. They were amazing and my feet loo human again thanks to them. Due to tissue issues I can get a horrible amount of dry skin and they took that all away. Also, I appreciate how clean they are at all the stages so that space is very tidy. And my nails looked perfect for two weeks and the only reason they were looking old is that my nails had so much growth.
