This is one of my favorite car washes - ever. In fact, if the darned thing wasn't so far out of the…read moreway all of the time, I'd definitely use it on a regular basis. I'm regularly near the Hy-Vee in the area, but it's another 10 minutes to drive to this location and back, so I really tend to only use this car wash if I'm driving by it. However, the car wash is pretty amazing. It's very clean and VERY modern. There's absolutely nothing about it that seems trashy or low-quality - which is pretty standard with a lot of car washes. Important for me, the car wash takes credit cards, and the pay station has always been accurate with absolutely no issues. It even has a video touch screen that includes vocal instructions about what to do. Don't worry - you can skip the instructions if you don't need them. Sometimes a lane might be closed off. It doesn't happen too often. The wash is a bit expensive - especially compared to other places. However, it's not insanely expensive, and for being one of the few modern, high-quality washes in town, I usually consider it worth it. It also doesn't have one of those "hold your tire!" spots that some washes do, and I hate those things. Just stay within the very vibrant yellow lines when driving in, and you'll be fine. It's always left my car very clean. Sometimes the drying doesn't dry like I'd like, but the cleaning itself has always been spotless and clean. It's always gotten all of the spots off of my car without any issue. The dryer has a count-down that's very visible for over a minute, so you can take your time going through the dryer if you want to try and get completely dry. There's regularly a line here unless you come through on non-busy hours. So be prepared for a bit of a wait. As long as the people themselves pay and go through promptly, though, it doesn't take that long to wait. Final thoughts: Good car wash and does exactly what it's supposed to do. Very modern and clean, and it's enjoyable to interact with. A bit expensive, so you'll have to determine if it's worth it for you.

I was gifted a coupon book of washes recently. This was my first visit here…read more I was a bit confused where to go first. You pull all the way around back and park in front of the garage door. Someone will help you and print you a ticket of the wash you want. Then you walk into the garage and go down the hallway to the office area to pay. While you pay several employees are already at work washing your vehicle. The cashier at the office was very friendly and personable. She was a delight. For as beautiful of a day as it was I'm surprised they weren't busier. I got in and out in 10 minutes. My coupons were for their highest tier wash. They do a wipe down if the interior of the car and wash the inside windows but they do not vacuum. This is not a service they provide. My car came out clean and I was satisfied. I was aware I wasn't getting a vacuum service because my coupons listed all the services it was for. The service had a value of $25. I had not issues and would recommend. I will gladly use up the rest of my coupon book. Although I don't know if I'll pay $25 in the future for the service. But I'm not a picky person for my car cleanliness.

There's a Kum & Go that's pretty creepy all the way up the street, but aside from that, you have to get off of San Marten to get any gas. As I'm someone who comes to the mall pretty often, I was glad to see this new gas station pop up. This gas station is also equipped with a car wash station. It's a very new building with a ton of gas pumps to match. However, despite just opening less than a month ago, three of the gas pumps were out of order. I had to actually wait in a line to get gas during the middle of a day on Thursday - which is something that has never happened to me. On the bright side, I guess it means that Waterloo really could have used this gas station. For those that don't want to worry about turning directly into, or out of, the gas station onto busy San Marten, Kwik-Star's parking lot directly connects to the Super Target parking lot, so you'll be able to get out in an indirect way that goes directly to a stoplight for an easier time getting back onto San Marten. Overall, it's definitely an awesome place for a gas station, and it's clear that it's new and clean. I was surprised to find that things were out of order already, and I was surprised to see quite so many people. Maybe people wouldn't have been waiting in line if all of the pumps were up - who knows? Either way, I'll be back.
