The sweet Charlotte burger from Tommy's. So good.

Went to the Dimond restaurant & ordered the sweet Charlotte burger. I'm 73 & this was the best burger I have ever had. The service is great & it's a nice place to eat at. 10 stars.

Special of the week

Their original location and the best in my opinion. The food is always piping hot and tastes simply amazing. The Cajun seasoning on the fries makes them where you can't stop eating them. The food is pricey, but you get a large amount. The weekly special for $18 is where it's at, as you get the fries included, and I have not been able to finish both the burger and fries so far. Some of the weekly specials have been the best so far, which unfortunately means you cannot get them unless it's the special, as they are not on the standard menu. The staff is always friendly and takes your order within seconds of walking in after greeting you.

When I googled the best burger in Anchorage, I had no idea how right they would be! This was by far the best burger and experience I have had in a long time. Be prepared to order fast when you walk in. The waitress is fast! There are only 3 tables inside. Small patio area but it was raining so I wanted to eat inside. Luckily two young men ate pretty quickly and gave us their table. The burger was hot, fresh and very tasty! The bun was perfect! I chose the cheeseburger and fries with a side of homemade ranch dressing along with an iced tea. I could literally eat here every day! Best. Burger. Ever. No lie. Friendly staff. Five stars! Don't pass this one by! It's worth the price.

Some of the best burgers I have eaten are from Tommy's. Anytime I am in Anchorage I must have a burger from here!

Do not order DoorDash form this place. Ordered a burger and chicken strips in which the photos clearly show fries in them but got no fries. 40 bucks for a burger and strips is insane. Don't waste your money. Very average food

A burger and an order of onion rings total $38

This was $38 for a burger and a small order of onion rings. Good food, but way overpriced. This single burger meal is more expensive than any large pizza around town. Ridiculous pricing is my only problem with the place

We sat outside as we devoured our huge burgers. We went in a little later in the day, between lunch and dinner, so I don't know if they're typically busy or not but we went right to the counter with no wait and the food came quickly. We visited in the summer and were able to sit outside, but I don't know how they accommodate people in winter when you can't really use the patio. The inside of this joint is tiny but the portions are huge!

I will just throw my 5 star rating for this place on top of all the other ones that they got. This place is amazing. Their food is life changing. They do not have indoor dining. They only have outdoor patio dining and carryout. Either way, I recommend you save some time and call your order in ahead. They have an adequate sized private parking lot and upon first look, the place does not look like much. However, that could not be anymore far from the truth. They have some exotic burgers and shake choices and I love exotic so I ordered an Aloha Burger and a Fruity Pebbles shake. I called my order in and got it to-go. It took about 30 minutes for my food to be ready. And they do something that I have never seen before to let you know your order is ready. They write your name on a big white board in the window. I guess so that people are not crowding inside, since it is kind of small in there. The staff there is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. They were really awesome. The food did not disappoint. It was very tasty. I would put the burger up there with the best of them. The shake was awesome too. I am definitely going to try and make it back here. Especially after seeing their Donut Burger that was not on the menu. I highly recommend checking out this local staple. They have grade A service, top notch food, and an amazing atmosphere. Over 500 people cannot be wrong. This place is amazing. You will not be dissapointed.

Yak burger anyone??? I was in beautiful Anchorage and…read morewanted to grab some lunch. 49th state brewing was perfect because it wasn't far from my hotel and because it was so cold outside, I didn't want my walk to exceed 15 minutes. I was really hungry so I got there right when they opened at 11 a.m. I was able to be seated immediately and opted to sit upstairs where the tables were lower as compared to downstairs where the tables were high tops. Off the bat the food is phenomenal. For starters I got their popular handmade Bavarian pretzel. It was perfectly seasoned with butter and salt and the pretzel itself was soft and fluffy. It came with a side of cheese which was just as tasty. I was a little nervous it would taste like the melted cheese you eat at an amusement park- but this cheese had fantastic quality. One really neat thing about this brewery is they make their own fountain drinks! I tried the raspberry one and as you can see they aren't shy about the portions! The drink was really good. It had a great flavor to it, and a nice balance. The raspberry wasn't overpowering which I'm grateful for. For my entree I had the Yak burger that came with a side of tater tots. My waiter recommended I get it cooked at medium to keep it juicy. Typically I'm a medium well to well done type of girl, but I decided to trust his judgement and he was right! The burger was huge, messy, and delicious. The medium was definitely a good call. It was juicy but not so red where it would be off putting! Overall, I had a really incredible dining experience at 49th state brewing. And the prices were unbelievably reasonable. My meal came out to about $52 (not including my tip). I would love to come back when it's a bit warmer and sit outside- the views from the restaurant are phenomenal. Also, shout out to my waiter! I didn't get his name but he was so kind and the service was excellent!

The servers seemed a little new, but the service was good and friendly. They carry Frontier brand sodas which we found to be excellent for their flavor. We got root beer and ripe raspberry soda. I ordered the Chili AK Salmon Bowl which our server confirmed is wild salmon. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. Both meals were really good. I especially liked the sauce on the salmon bowl so much so that I asked for a little more only to be charged for the extra sauce. I also noticed they include a service charge on the bill (note that this was not gratuity). They told us it was to help them get seasonal labor and to cover overhead. Maybe this is an Alaska thing, but with menu prices as high as these, why would you need to add a service charge? Pricing and nickel & diming aside, I would recommend this place.

I like to think of this food as a burger place with a drive thru, but not a fastfood place. There's a pretty good wait to get food from the drive thru that it's probably faster to go inside and eat. That said, everything tastes fresh, and piping hot. It'd be difficult to find a better burger bun because they make theirs in house and the taste is evident. After perusing the few tables that had people eating burgers, decided to go with the wrap option, not wanting a loaf of bread surrounding my burger! Very pleasing to the eye, wrapped in a generous amount of crunchy iceberg, boom, could have used more sauce, but I'm a sauce kind of clown, plenty to get from the condiment bar. Nice crunchy bacon, boom, she said mustard was absent had to get my own. A few tips to improve the burger, add on the tomato pickles and onions. Also burn a brand into the lettuce like the buns, would be way cool. And don't be afraid to sauce it up, some of us Keto types need a lot of taste to combat the boring taste of iceberg. Take heed, the clown has spoken,

It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."
