Tommy's is a great place to stop for a quick bite at the bar, or settle in for the evening and enjoy a solid home cooked meal. Heather is sure to make you smile with her charm and quick wit, which she has never failed to bring. Great place to hang with friends! read more

Bree the server kicks butt. She was very busy, and great. It's hard to believe that in Idaho a restaurant could serve beef that is this horrible? Definitely a pre-frozen probably not even 100% beef fast food burger. Mashed potatoes were horrible, and the gravy was straight out of the can. I don't need fast food restaurants, but I would've been more happy at any fast food restaurant than eating the food they prepare here. I was just passing through and wanted some lunch. I wouldn't recommend trying this place ever . read more

Great price , great food, service was great as well. Very clean and plenty of parking. Definitely recommend.

Our waitress kandice Duke was the sweetest and one of the best waitresses I have ever had! Super good service!

Great food, service, and atmosphere I will definitely make it a regular stop when in Blackfoot!

I enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was good, plenty of TVs to watch different sporting events, the staff was friendly, and the food really good. Our waitress was Shawna H., and she was friendly and attentive to our table. We tried the Idaho nachos, which are waffle fries instead of nacho chip, and it was good tasting. I tried the chicken cordon blue and it was not your typical breaded fare but their take and I loved it. Even the broccoli side to my meal had flavor, must have been butter and seasonings. My family tried different items and no one had a complaint. I had a daughter that ordered a medium rare steak and it came out perfectly cooked, it is weird how many places cannot cook a steak correctly. I would highly recommend this place. read more

This was my first visit, and I was impressed. The facility was spacious, and the service was great. Oh, and the food was delicious.

Fiance and I are in town for work. Decided to have dinner here and it did not disappoint!! Monday night. A lot of cars in the parking lot but we were seated right away. Drinks and orders taken quickly. I ordered The chicken Cordon bleu with two side orders of broccoli and asked to have it loaded like a potato. This was the BEST broccoli I have ever eaten at a restaurant. The broccoli itself was seasoned and perfectly cooked. No complaints. My fiancé ordered mild chicken wings. They were perfectly crispy and the sauce just the right amount of spicy. Service was great. Definitely recommend this establishment. read more

The food there was pretty good! Traveling from Montana and decided to stop here. Was sat at a table in front of the kitchen door, which I didn't mind. The server was very short, and had to remind her of our drink and sauces 15 minutes after getting our food. Instead of checking to see how our food was or if we needed anything, her and two other servers decided to chat amongst one another behind us for 15 minutes. Pretty disappointing. The people in the kitchen standing in front of the door kept talking loudly amongst themselves, and even cussing. They weren't even wearing hairnets. read more

It's a good restaurant. The service is good. The food is tasty. Sometimes they run out of popular items later in the evening but it's a good establishment. read more

Food was excellent. Service was good. We sat on the patio as it was a lovely mid-August day.

Great service and food. Always a friendly place to have dinner. The owners are always great and make sure to stop by and check on things.

Awww we had the most sweetest young server! At first she wasn't sure what to do with 2 people who do not speak! But immediately she made us so comfortable by giving us the paper and pen! She went out of her way to keep filling up our drinks! Food outstanding! read more

One of the best restaurant I've been to. Cheerful waitress TC helps us in making our order more ideal. From appetizer waffle fries, to main course rib eye steak and lastly the local dessert: everything is outstanding in taste. TC, thank you for the great service. You made our Idaho travel experience more memorable. You are awesome! -travellerfromLA (late post) read more

My husband and I had dinner on Monday. It was very good. Started with stuffed mushrooms which are filling and delicious; however, I put pepper on mine as it needed some more flavor in my opinion. I had the Bacon Avocado Sandwich with regular fries ( I sent back fry sauce as I am a catchup person). My husband had shrimp pasta. Both were large portions so we had to take home what we were unable to eat there. So dinner $47.00 with tip. read more

The last few times I've been here has been disappointing. It used to be excellent service and food. This last time I ordered the prime rib sandwich which is to be served on a hogue bun, it was not this time it was on a simple hamburger bun and was tough. my husband always orders the chicken fried steak and this last time it was so hard you couldn't even chew it. I hope next time I go will be back to the great food it was, but it'll be awhile for me to go back, since the last few experience. read more

So the appetizers were good but it's not difficult to make wings and bacon cheese fries. The main course was extremely disappointing. You can see from the picture that it was extremely small. It was also dried out and flavorless. I spent over $100 on the check for my party and we were very disappointed. the service was fine and the facility was clean but I won't be back. To charge as much as I paid for that sad little bit of food is unacceptable. read more

Best place to eat in Eastern Idaho! Amazing service, amazing food, great atmosphere, great prices.. this is an overall incredible place. This is our 3rd time coming and no matter dishes we try, they're always amazing. Everting homemade and fresh, real ingredients, great home cooking type place. (Not like most places these days where you go thinking you could have made that better at home for way less money and had it taste way better) Go! You'll be glad you did! read more

Love Tommy Vaughn's! Can't miss items... the onion petals appetizer, are them the other day with my wife and we can't figure out why they are so good! "The One" burger, it's delicious, with an incredible sweet and spicy jalapeño relish and topped off with avocado. Also, their fries have changed recently and they are insanely delicious! Great spot to watch a game and just relax. In the nice months you can sit out on the patio and enjoy the view of Jensens Grove. read more

Came here during our mother daughter cross country road trip--spending night in blackfoot before grand Tetons and Yellowstone tomorrow. Read the yelp reviews but had low expectations. So pleasantly surprised! We shared a Caesar salad which was fine, but kudos for how they split it in two bowls. Then we split the flat iron steak with mushrooms and onions, asparagus and cheesy waffle fries. Wow! That was a delicious steak--tender, flavorful, as good as I've had elsewhere at more pricey places. All for $15.99! They once again split the entree onto two plates and gave us so many fries plus an extra dinner roll--hard to believe the normal plate would have held that many fries. The waitress was also friendly and perfect. If for some reason you're coming to Blackfoot, visit tommy Vaughn's! 80s music was also fun... read more

We are never going back. They argued with us tonight over an overcharge on our bill. When I asked them if a $2.99 charge was worth losing a customer they chose the money. Unbelievable. We are locals, but certainly won't be eating there again. When you choose a restaurant, skip this one and spend your dining dollars elsewhere. read more

The food was good but the service sucked! The waitress was doing shots with a table and when 2 other customers came in she was short and rude to them. She walked away from the table and past us rolling her eyes and said "Jesus M***Er F**king Christ." After that she was rude to the 3 other tables and very impatient with an elderly man trying to order his dinner. We will go back, but not to her section. read more

So to be upfront tommy Vaughn's is not my favorite place to eat. It's the only nicer restaurant in town, and it can be hit and miss. I recently had surgery a few days before my daughters first birthday. My family had come in from out of town, and by the time I got out of the hospital they were eating at tommy Vaughn's. When we walked in the door to meet with my family the hostess and waitresses immediately knew who I was, that I was fresh out of the hospital and where my family was. I was feeling terrible after kidney surgery, and they let me order off the kids menu, double checked what was okay for me to eat, made sure I knew where the bathroom was, and immediately brought me a box when they noticed I really wasn't able to eat. They made me feel safe and welcome, and took great care of my family. Where it isn't my favorite food, I'd still go back just because of how caring and nice they were to me. read more

An awesome restaurant found in a small town.We were in Blackfoot on business and this place came highly recommended by our friend. What a pleasant surprise ! The True Gem found in a least expected area of SE Idaho. Being hungry in Blackfoot I thought my options were limited to simple burger chains like McDonalds or Wendys , maybe Rupe's burgers at best. My prime rib was great , even my wife , who is much harder to please when it comes to food never complained about her order. If we ever have go to Blackfoot again that is where I would like to dine. read more

We are traveling in our RV and were at a camping area across the street from this restaurant. Normally I avoid bar food due to the unhealthy nature but I was pleasantly surprised to fine some foods that were healthier. We also sat in a booth away from others due to the variant. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good quality. We would go again if in the area. read more

They would have 5 stars, but the iced tea tastes like it was brewed in the coffee maker. Nicely decorated and great service. Our table had fried pickles (delicious), fish and chips (good, but it's 4 sticks of fish), cheeseburger (yummy), country fried steak (good, but a little too much pepper for that diner), salad(good), and baked potato (good). We will go back if we come back to/thru Blackfoot, Idaho. Sorry no pictures! read more

This joint!!! Asked for a Baked potato waitress came back twenty minutes later and said well I guess We had a party last nite we are out of Baked potato's! Went there for our anniversary. Food was mediocre and overpriced. Doubtful that we will ever return to eat here.

My husband and I road tripped from Nevada to Wyoming for the solar eclipse this year, and on the way back we were looking for a place to stop for dinner. We had an RV with our dogs, so needed someplace with a lot of parking. Luckily Tommy Vaugh's fit the bill. Although they did have outdoor seating, we decided to order take out and just eat in the RV. My husband got the fettuccini alfredo and I ordered the coconut shrimp dinner. Although it was a Monday night, they were very busy for dinner and unfortunately it took a while for our food to be ready. As an apology, the waitress gave us a free piece of cheesecake, which I though was very nice of her. I thought the shrimp dinner was amazing, even as take out! The sauce they included with the coconut shrimp was sweet and delicious. The shrimp were served over rice, also included two sides and a dinner roll, which was very yummy. I got broccoli and a baked potato as my sides. The broccoli was seasoned, which I hadn't realized, but was tasty (I think there was salt and garlic on them). And the baked potato was perfectly cooked. Although we probably won't be passing by again anytime soon, I would definitely recommend Tommy Vaughn's as a place to eat in Blackfoot. read more

This place was magnificent! The food was freshly made, tasty and perfect portions, even for the heavy eater. The staff was truly accommodating as we started with a party of 6 and ended up with a party of 12 and they handled it with grace and efficiency making our night wonderful. The prices were very reasonable allowing you to enjoy your visit even after the bill came. The complete experience was astounding and I would recommend this establishment to anyone near enough to visit it. I know I will be going back and I don't even live in Idaho. read more

Great restaurant! Excellent place to take the lil woman for a nice sit down meal. I noticed their customers appeared to be golfer so that's usually a good sign. Portions were nice sized and prices were good Service was excellent. We ate out on the balcony facing the lake so it was a nice view too. We will definitely be back. Not sure what to tell you what to order yet. I know the salads we both had were great salads. Very fresh veggies. read more
