This is a warning post about the car lot in Meridian. Sharing my experience that was not good…read more Hoping to save someone else going through what I did. I have been waiting on writing this review, hoping they would do the right thing. That way it would have been a rave instead of a warning. Pros-cars do look nice. Financing is easy. Cons-very misleading on the border of dishonest. I purchased a 2010 Rav4 12.21.2023. On 12.28.2023 it did not want to go into reverse. On 1.02.2024 more problems of not wanting to go into reverse. Their mechanic told them it looks like my transmission was going out. I was not given this information, I was told to call if I had any other problems. On 1.21.2024 Driving in Ft Worth to go see my family and all of a sudden, on the freeway no less, the car is revving but stop going forward. Coasted off the freeway into a gas station, God definitely lined that up for me. Called the mechanic, he told me I would need to get it towed, that he didn't have the means to get up their and tow it. Called Mike, the person I bought the car from and he tells me to get it towed that he couldn't give any suggestions because they didn't even know what the problem was yet. Thankfully I had road side service on my auto policy, because the extended warranty road side service they sell you with the car is a joke. You pay extra for that garbage and they want to charge you $8.50 a mile. They quoted me close to $800, Geico did it for $360. 2nd nightmare is no one in Meridian or Clifton will work on toyota transmissions. So had to have it towed again to Waco. 3rd issue was the extended warranty would not authorize a new or rebuilt transmission. They would only authorize a used one. So zero history on it. Other than it only had 76,000 miles. I am a single person and had just put $3,000 down payment on the car, then $360 for towing it home, so the car had to sit for another 2 months before I was able to come up with more out of pocket on top of making the car payments on a car I couldn't use. I finally had a drivable vehicle again 3.16.2024. Even with extended warranty it still cost me an additional $474.52 for towing and transmission and additional $300 for front tires, because they were worn down to metal. At the very beginning I thought Worldwide ASAP All Done LLC was a God send. My previous car had been totalled when it got submerged from the Oct flooding. I am beginning to think their is no such thing as honest, trustworthy car sales people left on this planet. Even when they are referred to you. These cars are purchased at auction and than thrown on the lot for resell. Some, in the case of mine was not even checked out by their mechanic. Cunningham Brothers did the transmission work, and when they found out how badly I had been screwed over, they cut my costs where ever they could. My bill was suppose to be $680. So my advice, if you chose to buy from them, get a mechanic to go over it with a fine tooth comb and run diagnostics on it before you pay them a dime. If they promise you anything, get it in writing. Do not get the road side service. Your car ins road side is way better. Mike claimed he would see what he could get done for all of the $ I spent, I dropped off the transmission bill close to 4 weeks ago and not a peep. I contacted Mike after 2 weeks and all I got was he passed it onto the owners to see if they can do something. If they ever decide to do the right thing, I will update the review. Ghosting unhappy customers is really poor customer service. In the mean time, I will continue to spread the warning about them. Alot of people need their vehicles for work and doctors appointment, etc. One of the biggest lies I was told was that the extended warranty covered everything escept electrical with no out of pocket/deductible. Obviously that was false.
