I have literally had Tommy D's replace every window and exterior door on my home. These are the guys to go with. Whether you are on a budget or want something really high end, they'll take care of you. For my last job I had the basic screen doors put in, and I love them! They have a hidden screen, so you can have it be all glass, or slide down a panel in nice weather and let the breeze in. Even though I went with the base options, they still handled the job thoroughly. Everything looks great. They are also fantastic at handling questions that might come up after. If a small issue is noticed that might need to be looked at, they are responsive and will follow up with you. I see one or two reviews mentioning service time. During certain times of the year, home improvement companies have to schedule way out. Whether it's roofs or windows or whatever. Parts have to be ordered, jobs are dependent on the weather.. ignore those. These guys are professional and first class. read more

From the time we called Drew and he came over to measure our windows and write up our estimate, through today when our new windows were installed by Chris and Bill, we have been extremely happy with Tommy D's. The installation did happen a few weeks later than we originally thought it would, but that was likely due to a miscommunication, and does not change our opinion that Tommy D's is first rate. Chris and Bill arrived this morning, on time, in the snow and did a fantastic job installing six new high efficiency windows on our front porch. Watching these guys work, you can see that they are knowledgeable and care about the workmanship that they put into the job. The final result is beautiful. They also took the time to show us how to use the hinges on the windows so that you can clean the outside of the window from inside the house. Terrific work, friendly and skilled workmen, a beautiful high efficiency product. AND a local company. Very happy we chose Tommy D's. read more

Not impressed...spent a few thousand dollars with these guys last year and just had a window busted and even though they carry the brand owner told me in essence wouldn't help me and to go elsewhere-did the legwork to get exact part number from manufacturer called back and answering employee told me owner Mike would call me back...never called. I'll find someone else. I worked in retail my entire career and I will never do business with a company that doesn't want mine. read more

Tommy D's is one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. Service is not a part of their priority. They are an Andersen Window preferred vendor yet they are unable to provide quality service and repair work. Took 7 months in 2022 to replace a bathroom pane of glass and now it has been over 11weeks just to get an estimate to replace another Andersen window unit. When queried about their delay, I was told that due to my condescending emailed inquiry, they would no longer do business with me. I highly recommend you do not do business with them. read more

I walked into the showroom with my husband and I immediately explained that I was only visiting Indiana, but that I was searching for windows for my California remodel. I wanted them to know this up front, since I know these people work for a living and I felt it only fair that they know we would not be buying. To our surprise and appreciation, Mike (co-owner?) patiently answered our questions for 45 minutes and spent the time reviewing the pros/cons of all our choices. The showroom is neat and clean and the windows and doors are plentiful and nicely displayed. I find it very rare these days when a salesperson will go out of their way to help, especially when they know there will be no profit. Thanks to Mike, we know what Andersen windows we want for our remodel and we feel confident about our choices. I thought the least I could do was to write a review and help them get more business. I wish we had a salesroom and a salesperson this wonderful in California! I would be happy to purchase from Tommy D's! read more

We had a storm door replaced. They were great during the whole process: providing estimate, installation, billing. Prompt in answering questions/concerns, and easy to call/e-mail. Would definitely use them again! read more

Recently had windows installed by Tommy D's. Installers were friendly, professional and answered any questions we had. Could't Have asked for more. During the purchasing process we talked to three different people. Two in their great showroom and another individual, Mike Corn, in our home. Always very informative and never once felt pressured. Great product, great people, VERY competitive price!!! read more

These guys did some warranty work for my doors. Replaced the glass in 3 of them due to a poor initial installation by someone else. These guys were prompt and pretty quick. I only paid for the labor since it was warranty work and I think that $90 an hour is a bit on the high side. No problems with the work they did though. read more

After had purchased storm windows and doors from this company, one of the storm doors had a panel that wouldn't stay in place. Evan came out to take a look and said that it was a discontinued model that was purchased several years ago by the former owners. However he fixed it for free. Now that's customer service! Thanks Evan! read more

These people are easy to work with, great selection at all value levels of Windows and very responsive to customers needs and requests. The young men who were the installers were professional, thorough and very nice. I highly recommend this business and I will be a return customer. read more

I'll start by saying that Tommy D's products are high quality, which is why I am so disappointed I won't be back to buy anything from them. My first impression of Tommy D's was that they are pleasant and willing to help. I was so excited to not only find a window for our needs, but also a bathroom vanity cabinet. The two people who helped us are Austin and Michelle. We ordered a vanity after the window. We decided to pay just a deposit on the vanity to wait until it came in so we could look it over. The window and vanity were delivered. The delivery driver broke a big branch from our redbud tree, which was disappointing. He then broke our old window into our back yard (from a second-story window!) and on our deck. I asked him to clean it up as we have small children. He was kind enough to do that, so that's nice. He then said that I could either pay the balance or talk to Michelle about it. A few days later, we received an invoice for the balance. Then two days after that we received a receipt for the balance. When I looked at the postmarked date, the receipt was actually printed a day or two before the invoice came to us. I had previously spoken with Michelle about just charging our card with the information on file, but she said they don't keep that information. When my husband asked why she went ahead and charged the credit card, she said I had authorized it, which I certainly did not. I have since learned this is illegal, so she's lucky I don't pursue it. I followed up with Michelle about some cultured marble pieces that we were still waiting for. She said they would be in by a certain date, but probably earlier and that she'd call when they arrived. She never called. We were out of town for a week, so I didn't bother following up until we got back. When my husband called (I asked him to make the call because I was sick of dealing with Michelle) to ask about the pieces, she told him she had already called me and left a message. She never did such a thing, which means she lied big time twice! I called her to ask when the pieces could be delivered (which she had previously told me they could be delivered), I told her I did not receive a call. She proceeded to go back and forth with me about whether or not she had called. I assure you that if I eventually get that mystery voicemail, I will call her and apologize myself. I also had somewhat of an issue with Austin, who also had told me a few times that he would return my calls and follow through on a window paint issue. His follow through was spotty at best. Generally, I think Tommy D's customer service is about as bad as it can get. They do not follow up, they lie, and I felt that once they get your money, you are no longer important to them. We would have loved to buy a few more things we need, but will end up going elsewhere. read more

I could not be happier with the products and the service at Tommy D's. From owner Mike Corns on down, everyone is knowledgeable and extremely professional and skilled at what they do. I would highly recommend Tommy D's for all your window and door needs-plus so much more in their showroom! read more

This is our second time doing business with Tommy D's Windows and Doors. Our first experience was great, bringing us back to them a second time. Our recent installation of three new exterior doors and a storm door was first rate! We have a home built in 1963, so renovations can be tricky. The two gentlemen who did the install encountered some challenges with our home and did an excellent job overcoming them and we have a beautiful finished project! read more
