I had these guys come out and give me an estimate on an old 2 car garage on a house I had just…read morepurchased. I wanted to add 2 remote opening door overhead units, needed new springs on one door, and a new cable on one door. The total was close to $1000 for everything. After comparing prices online they had what seemed like the best price, best service, most knowledgeable crew members, and could do the install for me the quickest, in only a few days. They did not attempt to over sell me on any parts and their labor costs were very reasonable. I did buy top rated Lift Master units, and being a gadget guy, I wanted most of the extras. They were able to tell me what I needed, and made sure it was at the lowest price they could offer me. Very fair and trustworthy group of employees. No hard sell, no slick talking, no up-selling, just the facts and info I requested. I can use the Lift Master remote app on my cell phone, via the wi-fi set up, the built in push buttons on my truck console, the key pad out side my garage door, the small sun visor remotes, and of course the 2 separate push button controllers mounted in my garage. I think I can safely say I will never be locked out, lol. They installed everything in one day, made sure it all worked fine, and it has still been working just fine and is used on almost a daily basis. I am very happy with the service provided by this company. I would use them again based on my current experience.

He replaced all including rails for a fair price. Last year my husband unfortunately backed into the new garage door and amazingly Mike was able to salvage rails and everything but the bottom door panel. In the meantime, we had another company replace the opener; a short time later the garage door wasn't closing properly. This time I called Mike and he came the next day. Turns out the other company didn't engage a stay clip to hold the garage door track in place. Moral to this story: just call Mike FIRST and LAST. We have found him to be very responsive, knowledgable, and fairly priced. Thanks Mike!

Whether you are on a budget or want something really high end, they'll take care of you. For my last job I had the basic screen doors put in, and I love them! They have a hidden screen, so you can have it be all glass, or slide down a panel in nice weather and let the breeze in. Even though I went with the base options, they still handled the job thoroughly. Everything looks great. They are also fantastic at handling questions that might come up after. If a small issue is noticed that might need to be looked at, they are responsive and will follow up with you. I see one or two reviews mentioning service time. During certain times of the year, home improvement companies have to schedule way out. Whether it's roofs or windows or whatever. Parts have to be ordered, jobs are dependent on the weather.. ignore those. These guys are professional and first class.

The installation did happen a few weeks later than we originally thought it would, but that was likely due to a miscommunication, and does not change our opinion that Tommy D's is first rate. Chris and Bill arrived this morning, on time, in the snow and did a fantastic job installing six new high efficiency windows on our front porch. Watching these guys work, you can see that they are knowledgeable and care about the workmanship that they put into the job. The final result is beautiful. They also took the time to show us how to use the hinges on the windows so that you can clean the outside of the window from inside the house. Terrific work, friendly and skilled workmen, a beautiful high efficiency product. AND a local company. Very happy we chose Tommy D's.
