The part itself maxes out around $200 even at a dealership -- so I don't know what the other $500 is for. It's disheartening when you come in being completely transparent and honest about your situation, and this is what you get in return. It feels like the more straightforward you are, the more certain shops try to take advantage of you. I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but I can't in good conscience let this go without a warning to others. Do your research before you come here. Know what your parts cost. I took my Tundra into Haney's for the dreaded Secondary Air Pump Valve (they are located under the…read moreintake manifold on these!) error. Bob Haney diagnosed it and gave me my options and I decided to replace all three valves because of the amount of labor taking off the intake manifold. Without going into technical insanity, it turns out that the new valve from Toyota was faulty, but it reported it was working to the computer. Bob chased this thing around for days and ended up having to take the manifold off many times, talk to toyota on the phone, consult the tech specs online, etc. Finally, using his oscilliscope, he determined the sensor on the new valve was giving bad readings and he replaced it again. I know he took a bath on this one, but when I went to pick it up, the truck was fixed RIGHT and he didn't charge me an extra cent. In fact, he said he learned a lot. Show me another mechanic who is this fair and who insists on doing the job right,.. Hard to find! Thank you Bob Haney.

The owners Casey and Graham are two of the most friendly, knowledgeable automotive service workers I have ever done business with, and I have done business with them for about four years.
