Some cleaners really don't do nice work at all. But I chose kings as I wanted more attention to detail and someone told me they were a bit higher end. They do however charge for what they do. They are far pricer than many others. I get that hand labor costs money especially in New York City. I frankly most of the time choose to not send out items to cleaners as it's either very costly or not nicely done. My experience is kings did a good job. They have a good system for connecting with texts and emails and really keeping you informed on status and they delivered on time and with my instructions considered. So I paid more and was happy with the choice for my items that needed this level of attention.

About 5 minutes after I dropped it off the owner Mark called me and told me that moths had gotten into the bag and created holes. He didn't want me to waste the money on a damaged tux. I told him to go ahead and he did. When I picked it up today, he was right, there was moth damage, but not so bad that I couldn't wear it. We stopped in that day (it was a Tuesday) and everything was ready by Saturday! Such a stress-free experience, especially compared to tailors I've visited before. It's a small store so we waited outside until the patrons in front of us left to ensure social distancing. All employees were wearing masks.
