The software is made by a company called DrawStitch International, and marketed by Janome as Artistic Digitizer 1.0. The DrawStitch company markets identical software called DRAWings X Pro. My chief complaint is that the bundle included a MacBook air, which does not meet the minimum system requirements for the software. My second complaint, is that the user manual, help files, and tutorials are all below standard. Any print materials put forth by the company are very obviously not written by a native American English speaker, and contain numerous errors, including incorrect screenshots of older software and incorrect labeling of terms. I even purchased a binder from my authorized Janome dealer, which was marketed as a way to learn how to use the features of the machine. That was just as poorly written. These products are not cheap, an one would expect, for such a high price tag, the customer support to be stellar. Instead, all of the available resources, including the website, are not only difficult to navigate, but the resources contained within are confusing and incomplete. I feel like they rushed production on both the machine and software user materials and paid no attention to building a relationship with their patrons. Product user/help manuals are supposed to help the user learn how to use the product, as well as troubleshoot any difficulties or errors. Disappointingly, Janome falls far short of the mark in all regards.

About 5 minutes after I dropped it off the owner Mark called me and told me that moths had gotten into the bag and created holes. He didn't want me to waste the money on a damaged tux. I told him to go ahead and he did. When I picked it up today, he was right, there was moth damage, but not so bad that I couldn't wear it.
