It all could have been avoided if Robert was honest about this team's capabilities from the beginning. They were way in over their heads with this project. I bought my dress at Angel Rivera under the impression Angel would be making my custom sleeves (these sleeves were integral to the dress, I've always wanted a wedding dress with sleeves). A conversation happened behind the scenes and Angel was not doing them anymore and I unknowingly arrived at my first fitting to see Robert from Christine's Custom Tailor. The first seamstress they assigned me to had to be REMOVED from the project. She gave me different versions of the sleeves that were 4-5 sizes too big, the next version: raw hem, still too big, buttons not equidistant, and one arm with an outside seam down to my mid forearm the other one had a seam down to the bottom of my bicep, the next version: the seam was sown crooked so it did not sit right on my arm whatsoever. I then went to Angel Rivera Bridal Shop to talk to Danielle about this awful experience, and she had to step in and try to advocate for me. Danielle got a new seamstress from Christine's Custom Tailor on the project. She basically had to re-do the whole sleeve 2 weeks before my wedding. She fixed the sleeves and dress a lot, but I still was not being listened to about the lack of structure in the sleeve. And, now there are lipstick stains all over the sleeve. So, long story short, a week before my wedding I have a new seamstress inserting some fabric to the top of the sleeve to provide more structure like I want. Then, I will have to quickly get these to the dry cleaners and pay for a 2-day turnaround because of lipstick stains all over the sleeve. They are small stains, but noticeable to me and not what you expect when you pay over a grand for alterations/custom sleeves. I lost sleep over this whole experience, and after 6 fittings I am exhausted... one of these fittings being 5.5 hours!!!! There are still random threads/stitches visible on the sleeve and the fabric is pretty roughed up by the buttons. I have very high attention to detail, as should any tailor shop, but this business does not. I also did not want visible seams on the forearm, and now I have them. Unfortunately, I had to compromise on my original vision because of their lack of skill many times. Save yourself so much mental anguish and take your dress elsewhere. In the words of my new tailor: 'This is so bad. Why did they do this? These are stitches that should be on the inside, not on the outside like this. Terrible.' Don't expect compensation, let alone an apology, from Robert if they mess up. He's not a bad man, but he is a bad businessman.

A colleague had…read morerecommended her and since I was clueless about anything-wedding I decided it would be good choice. My dress had arrived late (I ordered from a different place) - 6 weeks before my wedding but Susan was able to fit me in her schedule and get started on alterations right away. My dress was strapless but I felt the need to have my shoulders covered in church and she was able to add sleeves made from tulle that were removable! These straps made my dress feel complete, and I was so happy to have something unique about my dress. My bustle was GORGEOUS she had included I believe 7 bustle buttons - and my very layered Cinderella-like dress stayed up in the bustle the ENTIRE night! (Ever been to a wedding where the bride holds her dress because the bustle fell?) My mother's dress arrived 3 weeks before the wedding (again, from a different shop) and Susan made sure she was able to fit my mom in as well. Turned out that the dress the other shop had ordered was way too small for my mom - and 5 days before the wedding my mom decided to can it. Mom couldn't even sit in the dress!! Luckily - Susan had a dress available in her shop that fit my mother perfectly!! She was able to make some small adjustments that night and 3 days before my wedding my mother FINALLY had a dress! I honestly do not know what we would have done if we hadn't gone to Susan for alterations. She is clearly knowledgeable about gown alterations - and creative! She was able to quickly find a solution to a huge problem for us. I am so grateful for this and I have been back to her shop many times since. I've had 2 other dresses for other weddings altered since and Susan hasn't let me down! I also love her shop, it's very cute and unique and she has a lot of great wedding purses and jewelry to shop for!

Yelp steered me here for the suede -- although most of the Yelp reviews predate the new owners. Great job -- as and when promised. New owners know their craft. The suede coat (done offsite by leather specialists) was spotless and was reblocked into its original shape. My suit and shirts were perfectly done. I'm usually pretty loyal to long time service providers and my go to cleaners are closer to home -- but the 5 min drive to Bagari is worth it for their quality at what I consider market -- or even a bit below market pricing. Top tip: You get 20 percent off as a new customer. Decent savings on a big order. Also -- parking in this tiny strip mall is tight -- might want to leave your wheels at street level parking during peak times like noon or early evening.
