It is typically not busy early on Saturday and Sunday and someone always comes in to clean by 8 or 9 am. They have he machines and a few smaller as well as 3 larger ones. They could do with one more. Otherwise, I can't complain. Also no place nearby has a bathroom. This is usually not a big deal.

I'm writing this review to bring the owner attention to a recent incident…read more First, I want to mention that this is my go to laundromat. I drive 40 minutes to wash my clothes in this particular place. The machines are new and great! They accept cash and cards which is super convenient. Last Friday (06/07/24) around 6:30 pm I observed one of the young female workers with her husband and two children washing and folding clothes. I'm not sure if they washed their own clothes or customer's clothes, but it was not right. They let their children to take clean clothes from the dryers and place it in the carts. During the process kids dropped clean clothes on the floor frequently. They stepped inside the carts and on the folding tables with their outside shoes. Again I'm not sure if the worker was there during her work hours or not, but the laundromat looked dirty, with mess inside the machines and on the floor. Kids were on the loose! Running and climbing everywhere! I'm not against children in the laundromat, but everything has its own limit.

Living on the road in the van (Yes, I still have a home but I've been traveling in the van), one of…read morethe things I don't have is six weeks of clothes with me. So I need to stop every so often, run a few loads through a washer and dryer, then continue driving. So I stopped at SpeedWash and did exactly that. Three stars because the place is clean and the machines are reasonably priced. I had no issues with washing or drying, there are enough tables to fold and there is some seating outside where it's a little cooler. Where it goes wrong is that you must use a proprietary debit card to purchase washes and dries. This is fine but there are no refunds. I asked. For folks who are here repeatedly, this works okay. For someone like me who is never coming back to Westwood, it's a waste of money. So before I left, I handed my card (with $4.50 in value) to a nice woman who was doing her family's laundry with her very well behaved daughter. I pointed out that it's great that she had help, gave her the card and departed before it got creepy. [Review 18328 overall - 161 in New Jersey - 1850 of 2022.]

On top of that, my clothes are usually done same-day, but without even checking, the woman (who acted more like a robot) snapped, "Not today. Tomorrow after 5." If you're overwhelmed or short-staffed, say that. Don't take it out on customers who are just trying to understand what changed. The attitude was completely uncalled for -- yelling at people who have supported your business is a guaranteed way to lose them.
