Not only did he listen to my ideas and talk about how to accomplish them, but he came up with additional ideas that were even better suited to our ultimate goal of a family-friendly yard. After an hour of conversation, I knew this was the right company for the job. The company provides all the necessary drawings, samples, and information my HOA needed to approve the project. Once it got started, the workers were polite, focused, and hard working. I was impressed with the level of detail they took in making sure the ground was well compacted for the pavers they were installing and used a laser level to ensure the entire patio was laid correctly. When it came to installing plants, rock, and drip irrigation, again, they showed their experience. They helped choose appropriate plants that do well in the climate and that helped achieve the look I wanted. At the last minute, I asked to add an additional element to the plan. The Project Manager figured out a way to include it without adding any additional cost! A year later, some of the plants didn't survive the hard winter. Antonucci showed up the day after I called and replaced each one with a similar plant at no charge! Very impressive and great customer service. I am so pleased with the job Antonucci Lawn and Garden did. The compliments I have received on the design and work are endless. This family owned company wants to make sure their customers get the landscaping of their dreams and they definitely succeeded with me! They dug trenches for the irrigation but left hundreds of large rocks in the dirt and then laid sod right on top of that. They told me, "Don't worry, soon the grass will grow right over the rocks - no big deal. Give it a year or two. That was 3 years ago, and my yard is disgusting. I can't mow it as the wheels of the lawnmower drop down into the depressions where there are large rocks all around them. As you walk in the grass, there are pits and rocks that you can feel under your feet. Half of the sod has now died, even tho I spent hundreds every month over the summers on water and fertilizer. It makes me sick to even go into my backyard. I have asked the owner to come look at my yard and talk to me, and no replies - ever. He knows he did a cheap crappy job and now he just wants to hide from me. Stay away from this 'company'.
