I will say this was our first time here. I have some good things and some not so good to say. First, very confusing when you walk in, not sure where to go when you have reservations or want a table. The bartender looked at us like o' here are some more. Not friendly, did not say a word, just ignored. That was not a good start to the night. We went to check in for our reservation and the hostess was actually the manager. She sat us and was very nice. Our table was not cleaned from the people before us. It was sticky and had crumbs on it. Once we notified her she rushed back to clean it. She actually took our drink order, and our food order. Our waiter was alright, overwhelmed and not too engaging. That did not bother me, but he was not what I would say made the night. We ordered the 3 filets, the risotto and beef, and the beef meal. The filets were burnt on the outside med inside. Out of 5 I would say 2. The risotto my wife loved. It tasted good well prepared. The beef meal was good too. I say way to much salt, but that because I have high blood pressure. We ordered desserts. I had the cheese cake which the filling was good the crust horrible. My daughter took the tiramisu, which was disgusting. I feel that the baker added too much alcohol. The outside was crusty hard, the inside gooey. My wife took the gelato raspberry, that is what we all enjoyed. First time here. I should have came sooner. This place is so nice! I made reservations but decided to hang out at the bar. The place is old looking in a good way.We had IPAs. We ordered ravioli and fried calamari. The fried calamari was really good. It was very tender and they come with banana peppers (great combination) .we drunken chicken parmigiana. The food at the restaurant was fabulous! The honey butter with warm bread to start the meal was delicious. I got the chicken parm with vodka sauce, they make the pasta in house! On Tuesdays they do a build your own pasta special which is really fun. The ambiance was really cozy and all the old design details throughout the building are beautiful. Not sure why there aren't more stars here. Consistently a good place with great drinks and wonderful staff. Appetizers here have never disappointed. Tonight was dinner and it was wonderful. We adore braised short ribs and they were amazing. The crostini were amazing with massive shrimp and a super sauce. Little touches like the honey butter with the bread were such a treat. I don't understand why the place isn't packed. I don't think they are unreasonable for the portions which are generous. My quaint, cheaper than a hotel visit turned into a $140 parking ticket. I was told to park on the street in front of the hotel, so I did. They never said that I had to move my car and the parking lot is very small, so I left it in the street. Also, I brought food with me, but couldn't heat it up because there was no microwave in the room, so I ended up having to spend money in the restaurant to eat. No elevator, so I had to lug my suitcase up a narrow staircase. In my opinion, not worth the hassle. I'll pay a little more next time and stay in a hotel or motel. read more

Went here last night for dinner and was blown away. The service, food and atmosphere were fantastic. My family had the friend eggplant and mozzarella- the eggplant was crispy and not dry without overpowering taste of oil. The entrees we got the drunk vodka parm and lemon chicken along with garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was fantastic! Great portions. Also, the bread with that sweet butter was nice touch. Very inviting and cute outside area to dine. Food we ordered not so great, ordered a $42 rib eye steak. Server asked what temperature would you prefer. So, you would think it was going to be a great steak. Wrong, here it came a very thin cut less than 1/2 in. steak, cooked but certainly not able to attain a Mid-Rare. Another great meal at the Tom Quick! Service is always excellent and the bartender, Lynn not only recommends wine according to your taste but crafts excellent specialty cocktails. The chef is consistently good and always comes up with great specials and even comes out to your table to great you as time allows. They are a lot of good restaurants in the area. This is not one of them! Though we are local residents, we had not been here for years. Tonight we decided to go here instead of to one of our favorite local places. The shrimp scampi (with four tiny shrimp and a big plate of pasta that was stuck together ) was an embarrassment for that price.. The salmon was ok, but It was about 1" x 4" but even though it was a little dry, you could eat it ...since I didn't want the risotto I order the mashed potatoes and was not told that they were loaded with garlic. I couldn't eat them. Another person in our party ordered a hamburger. What can you do wrong to a hamburger? Well, they did it. Crisp and so dried out even dosing it with ketchup didn't help ...not a pickle in sight. Not a piece of lettuce or a tomato. The fries were weirdly burned so they were left there. I must say that when I did complain, they offered to re-cook the meal ,But honestly, we didn't want any more of it. We paid the check and left ..And we will remember not to go there again. At fist glance, wow! your walking into the late 19th century. The ambience is quiet, low warm light, heavy carpets and a scattering of antique decor. The bar is well stocked massive and is prominent in the room. Craft drinks being their specialty. The wait staff seemed to be limited however we were dining late. Our server was polite, pleasant and business like. She offered suggestions from the specials of the day. My wife chose a pasta dish which she liked very much and I chose a steak that was extremely disappointing, thin and impossibly to cook to order. I felt I was robbed for the fifty dollars special, and receiving nothing more than a breakfast steak. I try to keep my reviews positive but even after taking into consideration the economy, Covid, and other excuses to keep businesses going there is still no excuse for serving a lesser quality meal from a self claimed "up scale" dining establishment. After hiking Raymondskill Falls we looking for a place that was open on Easter Sunday and ended up here. We sat a the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Jason. He was attentive and his recommendations were spot on! The drinks and food were all delicious. My only suggestion would be to offer some more vegetarian/vegan options. Had dinner for 4. Let me start by saying the wait staff was excellent. Very helpful and attentive. Now the meal. Goat cheese tart was very dry with minimal flavor. Tasted like it was made a week ago and reheated. The Bronzino was delicious and cooked perfectly. Needed a few bits of vegetables on the plate. The pasta was not cooked to the customers liking. Both diners felt the pasta was too hard. Meatloaf was not bad. Flavor was good but the texture was unacceptable. Too much breading in the mix. The bar and restaurant were well appointed. Overall assessment is good flavor but plate cost is high. There needs to be a better value to attract repeat local customers. read more

I ordered the pork chop, and it was absolutely perfect! If you want a thick, succulent, flavorful chop absolutely studded with flavor, look no further. The Tom Quick Inn is open!!! Milford Pennsylvania finally has a fine dining establishment right in the center of town. I was lucky enough to be invited to the soft opening and I tried many of the menu items. Every item tasted fresh (not the frozen stuff reheated) and was perfectly seasoned and cooked. For my appetizers I had the beet salad, the goat cheese tart and the meatballs and they were all truly impressive. For my entrée I ordered fresh pasta that was made by the chef that day, the pork chop with red cabbage and apples and I also ordered the steak. Just so you know I had somebody with me I wasn't eating all this food by myself. If you're looking for a great meal I would encourage you to try the Tom Quick. I do also have to say that I got all four desserts and they were amazing! read more

Very happy the Tom Quick reopened with new owners Had dinner on the porch. It was lovely. The staff is wonderful , Our food was good. A little heavy handed when it comes to dressings. Maybe less on the salad with a little extra on the side would solve the problem. My Branzino was delicious though a bit oily unfortunately The side of creamed Spinach had way too much cheese in it ! That said, TQ may be the best place in town, overall very good. Salmon was great , fingerling potatoes also. We will dine there again soon. Their choice of music is hip and at the right volume. Good wine list and good options by the glass at good prices. Nice cocktail list as well I wish they would have one extra main for vegetarians aside of Pasta but the place is so I have a feeling they soon will as more people in Summer may ask. Decor is beautiful. Staff are so nice and attentive. The food - as other reviews state - lacks presentation and quality. I've had dinner here a few times now and tried a variety of dishes. They lack flavor, are over cooked at times or in the case of the meat, have gristle and in one instance, pieces of bone in the ground beef. There's also no attempt in making the food look nice on the plate. You have to order sides but maybe a small two bite salad on the plate to aid in presentation? If you order a burger that's all you get on the plate. I found the cocktails are mostly mixer and lack alcohol. The wines could have a little more of a pour as well. I'd love for this place to be my go to for a nice meal so I hope things improve. read more

I was very excited when this restaurant opened. Milford, PA needed another good restaurant choice. Since opening, we've been there at least 6 times. The decor is beautiful. They spent quite a bit and it shows. The service has been excellent. In the beginning, the food was quite good. With that said, our most recent visit was on 9/11. Something has changed. We brought a guest who started by ordering a bottle of wine. They were out of it. The same guest ordered the meatloaf. They were out of that too. Finally, he ordered a coffee with milk...and they were out of milk. How can a busy place be out of all of it at 7:30 on a Saturday night? I ordered the same pesto/pasta dish I always do (which had been delicious). It was completely different. No resemblance to the meal I had previously experienced. Mothers Day buffet was an epic fail.12 noon reservation for 8 of us.we were seated in a small dining room off the bar room.We had a new waitress and she did fine. Got our drinks and headed to the buffet room.everything looked good,don't believe everything you see. Pasta salad was good.chicken francaise was good but cold.pistachio crusted trout was dry & cold.roast beef was flavorful & cold.double stuffed eggplant rollatini was under cooked/ hard and Luke warm.potatoes were cold..highlight of the meal were the chicken tenders & fries..hot & fresh right out of the fryer.Clearly somebody missed the mark on prepping for this buffet.the dessert table was staight out of a Sysco box and the chocolate fondue fountain was too thick to flow.never got offered coffee or tea.We asked for some dinner rolls for the table and that must have been a curveball for somebody..we got some kind of roll that was thrown in the oven to warm & cut up and thrown on a plate. We got our checks,the waitress was nice enough to do separate checks for us..For $117 the food should have been a lot better. We wanted to try a new place,well it didn't workout.and putting the 18% gratuity on each check for a buffet is a little much.Still a beautiful place to eat.Hope the regular dinner menu is better then their buffet. read more

Has truly gone downhill since reopening......at the opening the food was great....and so was the service. The service has generally been good but quality and preparation, as well as the quantity of food has been so poor that I will no longer be going back.....and I live within walking distance! If you expect to eat well and don't want to go home hungry, stay away. This includes the Hotel Fauchere on the same block......food downhill. As of this day of my review, there are 20 open positions, not including wait staff at the restaurant. So, it seems that nobody even wants to work for the new ownership. read more

We were very disappointed in the Tom Quick Inn restaurant. We started with meatball appetizer and it was not good. Fried hard and lumpy. My husband had the fried calamari which was good. Main entree was linguine with clam sauce and it was pasty and tasteless . We had the pork chop which was okay but sat on soggy red cabbage from a can. I cannot say enough good things about the newly re-opened TQ. I cannot wait until the bar is fully open because their cocktails are out of this world tasty and beautiful. Went for a date night on a Wednesday and our server, Victoria was gracious, incredibly knowledgeable, and witty. She made the experience 6 stars! Everything we ate was perfectly cooked and tasted great. We had the Octopus app, Salmon, and the Branzino. Branzino was the star, but everything was really great. Can't wait to go back.
