Our room was on the first floor with a view of... the parking lot along with all the sounds that go with it. This a very photogenic hotel so I won't deny that we got some great photos. However, the bathroom was outdated and not maintained, and as far as the rest of the room - you could tell they were doing their best. But the certain spots like the walls had dust/dirt and although the bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft, the comforter was light and flimsy. Not cosy at all. Our restervation came with a breakfast credit and I'll say this - the coffee was not bad (and I am picky- I won't even drink Starbucks)! I'd come back to eat at the restaurant because we didn't get to try it but I don't think I'll come back as a guest until they can renovate... though they might be the best accoms in the area. *the 2 bedroom suites seem better but I toured them and just feel like it's more of the same just with extra room.

Room didn't even have a closet.

Way overpriced. Don't bother. Gorgeous setting, very nice lobby, decent bathroom. But the room itself was VERY small, and the ventilation was so loud it kept waking us up. After this, we stayed at the High Street Guesthouse in Jim Thorpe in a MUCH bigger room with a kitchenette and living room included, for HALF the cost of the Ledges.

This is the pumpkin gnocchi... for two people Just fell short

Went to glass for vantines day. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was excellent.... however the food fell short. We paid a staggering 179$ for shared plates and 2 drinks ... 69 a person... the food was so salty. I'm not sure the chef even tasted any of the sauces before the dishes were sent out.... its a shame because everything was cooked to a perfect temperature and texture but it was so salty neither of us could eat it ... hope it was just an off night

Ambiance is amazing! Nice drink menus, small but eclectic and delicious food menu. Would definitely recommend for drinks and shared appetizers or small plates.

Great stay. Comfy sheets, soft towels (and plenty of them), great staff, SUPER CLEAN, and awesome high tech shower. Recommend to ask for a room on the 'falls' side. That was our only negative, our room was facing the parking lot. Fortunately we were not in it often as we only stated one night. We will definitely be back!!

    Patio and view.

Make a reservation ahead of time to get your table and time. 4 The Activities (included in the price), check out their website, classes are listed ahead of time, and you should sign up for them before your stay. Reviews of super honesty, from a guest for a day…read more Not good: Trying to get there. As soon as you get to the edge of the property, you are navigating a maze of tiny signs in Woodloch handwriting, trying to figure out where to turn to sign in. I made a couple of wrong turns. Once I got there, I had to figure out where the door was. Signing in was actually quite painless, mainly because other family members had signed in moments before, but I didn't get a map so I was lost the rest of the time, depending on others to navigate around (and we definitely had questions). Event timing. I missed out on a couple of events because things we wanted to do were double-booked. Then we had off time when nothing was booked. Why not spread things out throughout the day? Events themselves. We thought bowling would be fun. It was a hollow ball so that anyone any age could roll it. The bad bowlers did better than the good ones. That's what made me miss trivia, though perhaps that would have also been no fun. Okay: A nice house we got, though the living room had a bunch of wasps outside the window so I was definitely not happy there. Clear your nests. Also at least one of our cards went bad, but I wasn't staying more than a day so I didn't have to worry about that. Beers. A couple of locals, just poor selection overall. Good: Pools. Multiple. All ages, all temperatures. Too crowded outslde? Go inside. Three different hot tubs. Kiddie splash area inside, which added to my family's enjoyment when I accidentally discovered it while wandering inside to use the restroom. (Part of that being lost problem. Lack of signs for anything.) Food. Though it went on my family's tab, they will feed you whatever you want for whichever meals you sign up for. My family will enjoy breakfasts and dinners to their hearts' content. Very high quality meals. You are assigned a table and a server, for whatever that's worth to you - definitely one less way to get lost! But if you don't like your server... I'm willing to bet they would work something out. Guest service was not a problem. Overall: I am being a little generous in stars because resorts are not my thing. But this place is in desperate need of an upgrade in signing everything. Post maps in more places. Upgrade your experiences and spread them over the course of the day. For now: You have been warned. Good luck.
