This mini monster mash was quite the smash. Nonsense aside this was a really cool a little adventure. If you are are a horror fan then this is a spot for you. There's lots of cool knick knacks, memorabilia and onset used props for some of the great horror movies, such as the exorcist, Chucky, Halloween, nightmare on elm Street and Friday the 13th to name a few. You can get a discount by buying the tickets online. The gal upfront was really friendly and gave us a brief overview of how the spot came to be.also as long as you are respectful you can take all the pictures you want just as long as there's no flash photography. For those of us who live our lives in a perpetual state of Halloween, this is the place for you! If you're giving this place less than a 5 star review, you either walked into the wrong building or your expectations haven't had a chance at a one-night-stand with your reality. This gem is located in Boulder City, Nevada, which in itself, is the biggest surprise of all. The Zoltar out front pierced through my soul, as he dealt me a card with the greatest advice/fortune I've ever received. I didn't ask him for glory and riches, simply fed in a dollar bill and let destiny taxi the rest. Staff stayed open a little bit later than 6 pm to allow my group to experience the museum, which was greatly appreciated. Staff kindness gets a 10 star review. I'm not going to get too deep on the items inside. If you can't tell what you're getting into from the outside decorations and the name of the establishment, you're in need of a time-out. Just do yourself a favor, go inside, take all the pictures your camera can hold, and enjoy this inexpensive guilty pleasure. Honestly, I thought they would've charged me more to be here. This is a real delight for anyone visiting Vegas, or anyone local. It's only $15 to see one of a kind/hand made horror icons brought to life. Tom's father was working when I went, and he was an absolute delight to speak with! The museum is full of horror -- from classic to modern. Some of the items in the museum were screen used, which was awesome. I was particularly fond of the Creature From the Black Lagoon and Toxic Avenger, which were lovingly brought to life. Spur of the moment adventure and it made our day. Who knew that such a cool place full of monster movie history existed right here in our backyard of Vegas. Just a small drive out to Boulder city you will find a really cool museum and gift shop for the monster and horror movie lover. Walk through rooms of amazing history and art that will teach you things you didnt know behind the movies and characters. My family had a wonderful time exploring and talking with other visitors who live for monsters too. My son is 10 and loved it. Jeff & Robert were so open and eager to answer any and all questions, and never hesitated to offer a fun behind-the-scenes story about their adventures in the world of monster films. It was so awesome to meet individuals who are so passionate about their work & the horror genre as a whole. Although frightened at some of the especially lifelike creatures, my younger kids ( 6 & 7) were comforted by the wide & well-lit pathway. To anyone reading that has a service dog, do not bother coming here. The guy in the main building gave us such a hassle. We told him it is against the law to refuse us entrance. The dog has a vest and his proper identification card. He had to call his manager who wouldn't even answer the phone. We went next door to go speak to the manager in person to gain entrance. This shouldn't be happening at all. This business does not know their ADA laws. As for the museum itself, it was very little. Not worth $15. It took us maybe 10 minutes to walk it. I've been to Vegas dozens of times and I have never heard of this place. It's a hidden gem! If you like spooky, cooky, or creepy things; if you enjoyed b movies and blockbuster horror movies alike, you'll like this place. Plenty of parking, you're greeted by two decked out hearses. Walk inside and gaze at all the cool spooky merchandise and buy a ticket. You can get 4 tickets on Groupon for a good deal, or buy them online for a discount, but we decided to buy in-store to support them. (Only $13 nbd) Don't let the size fool you, there's a ton of stuff to see in there and the space is managed beautifully. There's something for everyone, old school horror actors like Boris Karloff, and nods to modern horror like the Saw franchise. Highly recommend. read more

This place is aaaaamaaaazing! Especially if you're into horror movies and monster make up. Jeff who was at the register, is an easy going guy with an upbeat attitude. He really made my husband and I feel comfortable. (We loved your Gremlin by the way Jeff, if you're reading this!). The museum is small but it is packed with information and a pleasure to look at (except for Regan. She scares the sh** out of me!) It's nice to support local business so our money was well spent. If you love horror movies/classics this is a great museum. The entry is $20 per person, but is worth it as you can stay in there as long as you want and take as many pictures as you'd like. Some of the areas are very dark, which makes it hard to read the descriptions or look at the actual figures. Overall, really liked it and loved how they had little theme music playing throughout, as well as, a little movie theatre at the end with the creator talking about his projects, I'm guessing. read more

Awesomethey have the neatest most interesting things in there, that I didn't expect to see! They got a new cool little ride opening very very soon! I can't believe I never knew about this museum!! I practically grew up in Vegas and never knew how many cool things there was to see in Boulder City! I love anything creepy/spooky or anything to do with horror movies. This museum is small but had tons of cool props and fun facts! The way it's set up is really cool it's like walking through a little haunted house with out the jump scares, besides one of the tree props that almost fell on us lol our fault! I'm a big fan of the exorcist and Freddy, Michael Myers so it was cool seeing them added in there. This place is kid friendly (well my kids loved it!) and I seen lots of other little kids enjoying it as well. They have a cool gift store to purchase costumes, mask, shirts cool post cards and gag gifts. My favorite was the Elvira purses!! Tickets are 13$ or you can go on Groupon and get a big discount for a group. I definitely think if you're near this place you should stop by and check it out! My kids can't wait to go back. Also I was told it's open at night in October and the have a haunted house! And they have movie nights that you can check out on their website. read more

Amazing! What an artist Devlin is! The displays are fantastic, very authentic and lifelike. I only wish it was bigger. It actually leaves you wanting more. I'm hoping they will expand at some point.
