This was a fun place, especially as horror movie fan. From my family, It wasn't exactly a full "monster" museum, as the name suggested, but my family wanted to see more monsters like Bigfoot, Loch Ness, and other "monsters". That being said, its movie monster displays were great and better than expected. Still, it was well lit, some great movie props, and the behind the scenes video at the end was entertaining.

Popped in here trying to kill some time. The staff was friendly and very informative. The museum was quick but very entertaining if your into horror. They even have a cinema and many photo opportunities. The price was only $20 for a ticket. You can take as many photos as you like as long as there is no flash. Def check this place out!

Was fun. Nostalgic to see all the old scary movie creatures. Great spot to stop and see.

This has been on my list of things to do for almost a decade now. Finally was able to make my way to it and it was definitely a cool exibit. There is a lot of movie history here which is very cool. The museum itself is dark, a little old and run down. While I appreciated all of the artifacts and movie information they had on the wall, I would say the $20 entry fee is pretty high for what it is. It is very dark inside which gives it a good vibe but in some parts it takes away from the experience because it is hard to read the information they have posted around. This is not an interactive exibit which could be good for those who fear things jumping out at them. Overall definitely worth experiencing at least once if you are in the area, but I probably won't be back unless they do some updates.

Awesome collection!! Definitely must see. Service was quick, informative. $20 wasn't bad for what they have on display. Wasn't scary nothing jumps out you.

Every time we're out in Vegas, we make the extra trip out to see this museum and we are never disappointed. Each time I've gone. It has been different and this time I absolutely loved the way they have it. It did go up in price so that was a little bummer, so much to see in there so much to look at if you love horror and all things creepy this is definitely a place you should check out if you're in Vegas area

We had so much fun here yesterday! Definitely worth it to stop !! We will be back ! Such friendly staff and love the gift shop

If you're like me, someone into all things horror, creepy, crazy and weird then this is your place to be! I highly recommend coming here and check out the museum in the back of the gift shop. Entrance fee into the museum lets you go at your own pace. Once you're done with your tour enjoy the gift shop, small arcade and free movie screening room. Parking onsite with plenty of photo ops. Gentlemen working the counter was awesome and engaging! I can't rave enough how AWESOME this place is!!

If you grew up in the 1970's-1990's eras, and watching VHS/DVD Horror Movies was/is your weekly passion, this is a must see, FUN little museum! Also has a unique gift shop and small arcade. Self guided, allow 1 hour to take it all in. About 45 minutes from the strip, it's worth the trip. Located in the inviting town of Boulder City, in itself makes for a pleasant 1 day side trip from your LV stay: lots to experience, museums, shops, some hiking and unique parks, vintage public pool, interesting restaurants nearby like the China Bistro, S.W. Diner, Tap Room, etc. The Hoover Dam tour just a few minutes away. On either way, try to ignore the endless sprawl of Henderson, it's planning/zoning dept. successfully made the city as unsightly as possible (it can't be accidental). Endless traffic, a dreary mismash of auto parts stores, gas stations, malls, strip malls, mini malls, convenience stores, banal "locals" casinos' and every corporate chain possible. Top it off with miles of "planned communities" bereft of any charm. 300,000 lucky residents and more on their way.

A horror movies fan will definitely appreciate this establishment. We enjoyed the spooky journey that displayed all the items with narrative. Some of the items bring back memories

It's easy to walk through and not overwhelming at all. We went last Friday and it wasn't crowded which made it even more enjoyable for our 3 year old son. He especially enjoyed coloring his own mythical creatures, scanning them, and then watching them come to life on the big screen. We also loved the star raindrops exhibit and seeing all the impressive colors. It took us about two hours and we could have easily stayed longer. We enjoyed a beverage at the Arte Cafe towards the end of our experience, which was fun and interactive. Our son loved drinking his chocolate milk while watching the balloon in his drink. It was so cute. The staff were very friendly, well-organized, and helpful. They advised us that if we want to pay extra for the Arte Cafe that it's best to buy it at the main entrance of the museum for $5 per person rather than at the cafe which was $7 per person. A few things I would recommend: - Use a Groupon deal if possible. We paid $48.99 per person for NV residents. Our son was free since he's only 3 years old. - There's valet parking at city center where there's an escalator that takes you directly to the entrance of the museum. It's $15 dollars for NV locals. - The only restroom at the museum is at the main entrance so be sure to use it before going through the exhibits. I highly recommend visiting if you enjoy immersive art. We will be back for sure!

The museum, which opened in 2022, honors Rita Deanin Abbey and presents a large selection of her art. Rita was an art professor at UNLV for over 20 years before retiring and devoted all her time to create art. On this property, it initially contained her home, art studio and sculpture garden before Rita and her husband built the 10,500 sq ft museum. Rita is known for her abstract expressionism, figures, landscapes, and non-objective subject matter that is expressed through paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, porcelain enamel fired on steel, stained glass and computer art. A docent gave us a tour of facility and sculpture garden. But we were the only ones in the museum so we able to enjoy the peacefulness and admire and be mesmerized by the artwork. Fast forward to now, and I've been to the OG House of Eternal Return in Santa Fe twice, Omega Mart twice, Radio Tave in Houston, Convergence Station in Denver, and I look forward to checking out the Grapevine Tx and LA locations. So, all that to say, I'm a fan! And so far, Omega Mart has been my favorite. I absolutely love the grocery store and all the humorous products in front, and I fully enjoyed all the areas to explore through the soda fridge portal (and other ways back). I like the art installations and various rooms at this location, y'all there's a Laser harp... I mean, come on! That's cool. It shocks me that this location has a 3.6 rating, however it is likely the most visited Meow Wolf of all the locations due to being in Vegas, and not everyone is going to "get it". It has reached the tipping point. The funniest reviews to me are the ones where people said they were bored, like right away. How?! There's quite a bit of content to absorb and so many details, many of them hilarious. My senses are definitely tapped into, in the best way, at Meow Wolf and I appreciate that. After all, as Dorothy Parker said "The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity." Coming to any Meow Wolf with the intention to explore is by far the best way to approach it IMHO. There are generally storylines that can be followed at each location but I like to wander and see what I see. Thanks Meow Wolf for building & making such cool spaces for people to love it or hate it. But either way it's an interesting place of art and a welcomed break from the mundane way of seeing reality. I have no doubt I'll be back to Omega Mart next time I'm in LV. Maybe next time I will get a boop card and follow the storyline to experience the space differently than before. Plus, there's a speakeasy bar called Datamosh that I missed the times I was there, so I'll look again and stop in for a drink for sure since I loved the interdimensional honky-tonk dive bar hidden inside the Meow Wolf Houston, Cowboix Hevvven.
