The Dead Experience is located in the Palazzo part of the Venetian Casino/Hotel. This is a free admission interactive experience on two floors. It's filled with lots of photography, a miniature of the wall of sound, T shirts and lots more. This is open Thursdays threw Mondays 10am - 6pm

Wonderful overview of the entire history of the Grateful Dead, along with some wonderful art from Mickey Hart. This is one of the best things you can do in Vegas right now for free.

(5/5) ARTE Museum…read morewas one of the most beautiful and immersive experiences we've ever done in Las Vegas! Every room was breathtaking, with stunning digital art, music, lights, and projections that made you feel like you were stepping into a different world. It was relaxing, unique, and unlike anything we've experienced before. It is definitely on the pricey side, but we felt it was worth it for the experience. We also loved ending our visit at the ARTE Cafe, where our admission included a beautiful specialty drink that came to life with interactive digital art on the table--a really fun and memorable touch. Admission: Around $50-60 for adults and $40-50 for children (ages 4-12) depending on the day. Tickets that include the ARTE Cafe drink are about $5 more. Children 3 and under are free. Nevada residents also receive a discount. Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with last admission at 9:00 PM. Parking: The easiest option is to park at The Cosmopolitan self-parking garage and take the pedestrian bridge to the museum. Valet parking is also available at the 63 CityCenter building where the museum is located. Best Ages: Great for all ages, but I'd especially recommend it for ages 5 and up. Adults will appreciate the artistic experience just as much as kids. Tips: * Plan to spend 60-90 minutes exploring. * Charge your phone beforehand--you'll want lots of photos and videos. * Visit earlier in the day or later in the evening for fewer crowds. * Take your time in each room and don't rush--the changing visuals are part of the experience. * If your budget allows, get the ticket that includes the ARTE Cafe drink. It was one of our favorite parts! If you're looking for a unique indoor attraction in Las Vegas that's both relaxing and visually stunning, ARTE Museum is absolutely worth visiting!

Also cause I am ARMY, I wish they would have more BTS integrated, like a room that had close to real life projections of their videos & photos to take pictures with. My good friend took me. She bought the added drink bonus. Which we never got because the line was horrendous.

Every room had something unique, and we found ourselves laughing, taking tons of photos, and trying to figure out all the mind-bending illusions. Kids 4 and under are free. Hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM, so it's easy to fit into your schedule. Parking: We found the easiest place to park was the Aria self-parking garage, with an easy indoor walk to the museum. You can also park at the Cosmopolitan or 63 CityCenter valet, but all charge for parking. Nevada residents may receive free or discounted parking at some garages. Best Ages: I'd recommend it for ages 5 and up. Younger kids can still enjoy parts of it, but older children, teens, and adults really appreciate the illusions and interactive exhibits. Tips: * Plan to spend 45-90 minutes exploring. (Museum of Illusions Las Vegas) * Wear comfortable shoes since you'll be standing and walking through each exhibit. * Take your time--many illusions look even better through your phone camera than in person! * Let the staff help you pose for the illusion photos--they know the perfect angles. * Go earlier in the day if you want fewer crowds and more time for photos. If you're looking for a unique indoor activity on the Strip, this is absolutely worth it. We had an amazing time and would definitely come back!

If you go in expecting a quick walkthrough or something you can half-pay-attention to, I can see why it might feel confusing or underwhelming. But if you take your time, start opening doors you're not sure you're supposed to open, and actually lean into the story and details, it becomes a completely different experience. There's so much layered into it visually and conceptually that I found myself going down rabbit holes (sometimes literally) trying to piece things together. It's chaotic in the best way. That said, it's not my favorite Meow Wolf location overall - but I still think it's absolutely worth a visit if you're in Vegas. I later learned that this is interactive art at its finest in Las Vegas. On a recent trip to Las Vegas, my friend and I decided to give it a try and see if it lived up to its hype. We purchased our tickets online in advance and selected a specific day and time to go through the experience at AREA 15. We arrived in time for a 11:20 AM entrance to the Omega Mart. I brought an empty water bottle to fill up inside AREA 15 as I knew I'd get thirsty (and you're not supposed to bring full water bottles or other food or drinks into AREA 15. We went through a small security station to get inside, and then we were let loose in the most unusual grocery store I have ever been in. I was told to expect to take at least two hours and perhaps three to four hours in Omega Mart. You could buy an "Employee Card" for additional access to different features. I was told before I go to just enjoy the experience and not to overthink things. If I went back a second time, I may want to really dive into the story that we were following which went over my head on my first visit in such a short time. Some people buy passes to keep going back over a season. Definitely be prepared to touch things both in the store and in the various portals. You never know what you may find yourself controlling. It may surprise you how different the store itself is from the various portals. During the summer, there are even characters that you can interact with in the portals. Otherwise, I don't think it would be appropriate to discuss how to get to any of the portals or what to expect in the portals themselves. I will post some images of the incredible artwork you may see should you find the correct portals, but finding it and making sense of it is up to you. Think of the story as a mystery, and don't start too late in the day as you may get tired sooner than later. Also, have fun looking closely at the items in the store as the items are very creative. You can even purchase many of them as souvenirs. Also be on the lookout for a secret bar hidden in one of the secret rooms. The Omega Mart experience is Meow Wolf Las Vegas as an immersive art experience. There are other Meow Wolf experiences around the country. You can learn more about Meow Wolf Las Vegas at https://meowwolf.com/visit/las-vegas including buying tickets and learning what to expect. Though you may find the cost to be quite high, definitely give it a try at least once for the unique experience!

Many of the wax figures look realistic (which was a bit scary up close lol), but it was still fun. I liked that the staff allows you to get as close as you want to the figures to take pictures and really observe the art pieces. We also learned from the staff that the sculptures are built to the same height as the celebrities, which was cool because we got to get a glimpse of different celebrities' heights and guess what we thought they would be versus what they actually were when we stood next to them. This was a fun game we played as we went around. I liked that every section had its own theme and music, like actors, '90s artists, 2010s, etc. As you get closer to the end of the museum, there's a Marvel section with a 4D theater. The place was pretty dead as we had just missed the lunch rush. But, we didn't mind. So, this place is an experience that I highly recommend if you are at the mall, especially if you have elementary aged children. It's so fun and colorful. We started by paying $15 each at the door and getting a wrist band. This cost was for the experience and if you decided to dine there then you can use the $15 credit toward your food. We chose to eat first. My husband and I enjoyed delicious cocktail, the cilantro bliss and the margarita. Both were 10/10. For food we had a cesar salad, fideo seco, picadella, and of course chips and salsa. Food review: For the table they bring tortilla chips and refried beans. It was pretty good. 8/10 Cesar Salad- 6/10. This is not a traditional cesar salad. We didn't care much for it. Picadella- 8/10 pretty good. Enough for two people if you are eating light. It comes with beans and rice. Fidea Seco- 8/10 different but good. Chips and salsa- 4/10. There were 3 kinds of salsa; green, mild and hot. The mild was hot and the hot was too hot. I wouldn't order it again. There were 3 of us so we applied all $45 to our bill, making our bill close to $50 before tip. After eating we went to the experience and it was so cool. All three of us are adults and we enjoyed it but younger kids would really enjoy it. After you are done, the door that you leave out of leads you outside so if you want to eat or shop at the gift shop, I suggest you do it before you do the experience. Final Thoughts: It was fun, but we won't go back. Definitely for tourists and I would suggest it to friends with younger kids for sure.
