The Dead Experience is located in the Palazzo part of the Venetian Casino/Hotel. This is a free admission interactive experience on two floors. It's filled with lots of photography, a miniature of the wall of sound, T shirts and lots more. This is open Thursdays threw Mondays 10am - 6pm

Wonderful overview of the entire history of the Grateful Dead, along with some wonderful art from Mickey Hart. This is one of the best things you can do in Vegas right now for free.

I didn't feel crowded in or crushed anywhere. There were many interesting photo opportunities. It was GREAT of the museum to notify you about some rooms that might make some people feel unbalanced. In our case, I am a local, I went with my 5 year old grandson and my 81 year old friend. I had a chose of not going in or paying "VIP" PRICING -- $82 per ticket, no local discount, no age discount. What do you get? Shorter line to get in -- for a moment -- then you merge with everyone else. You wait on same lines for slides, ice cream, etc. The quality of that ice cream is average, the soft serve is below average, the topping cheap. I had expected - and I read a lot of about it -- a fun experience, with good ice cream, and highly engaged staff. The staff was fine, however, they were more like crowd watchers than engaged staff. They fooled me once, and they will never fool me again. However, AREA 15 is well worth it in so many other ways.

If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." Vincent Van Gogh Van Gogh painted as a way to make his inner soul happy and shine. He painted from the heart. He loved nature, the night and the mundane things in life . Just people watching he did this as his art of painting! A troubled artist that "painted," a man who did not know he was talented! Come and explore his life through an immersive experience of art . The world of Van Gogh comes to life here. You can feel the world, the power of his life and art with real life. The music and artist who painted the famous Starry Night . Stand strong within the brush strokes of his art. They have given Van Gogh a chance to shine . Now I've been questioned on the value of this particular experience. For someone who doesn't put a value on an event, price is not an object. For the main purpose of attendance to this event was for my daughter. She has been wanting to go here and price an object for her; let's just say, "it's going to make her happy, it's happening." Sometimes my young daughter is plagued by troubles of the heart from the past. She can relate some of the pain of her childhood to Van Gogh perhaps . Quick search on Yelp & Google, and knew this was gonna be THE spot. With down time finally in our favor, we stopped by on a Monday afternoon. Took the elevator up and paid at the register. I asked if cash and/ or card are accepted, but it's card only. There are complimentary lockers available before walking into the museum. Watch the quick 2 minute video and away you go. Next to every display or immersive exhibit, you can read what is happening. And why you are experiencing this special effect. It's a great flow of exhibits. And if one particular area is crowded, you can continue on exploring. And return back to the previous one. Staff is so friendly with photo opportunity suggestions. * Restrooms are located near the slot machine/ pole dance area! There are WARNING signs if you have sensitivity to flashing/ strobing lights. Some rooms can be a bit darker while throughout the museum is well lit. The optical illusion to some of the exhibits can cause dizziness. Even the graphic geometric patterns you'll see throughout. Very budget friendly. And from a previous review I read on Yelp, you can also find discounts directly on their website. You'll exit at the gift sho

We were able to snag our tickets from Groupon and got the Gondola Ride package. If you're getting your tickets from Groupon, I recommend that package deal. The staff was friendly and directed us to where we needed to go, and they also helped take some of our pictures. Many of the wax figures look realistic (which was a bit scary up close lol), but it was still fun. I liked that the staff allows you to get as close as you want to the figures to take pictures and really observe the art pieces. We also learned from the staff that the sculptures are built to the same height as the celebrities, which was cool because we got to get a glimpse of different celebrities' heights and guess what we thought they would be versus what they actually were when we stood next to them. This was a fun game we played as we went around. I liked that every section had its own theme and music, like actors, '90s artists, 2010s, etc. As you get closer to the end of the museum, there's a Marvel section with a 4D theater. The movie is free and about 10 minutes long. It was a cool animated experience with 4D elements, if you have time, I recommend checking it out. After we finished going through the museum, we went on the Gondola Ride, which is based on the gondola rides in Venice. Such a peaceful moment, you really feel as if you're in Venice. Our gondolier was very nice and had an amazing voice. I liked how he gave us the history of why a version of the gondola ride was made in Vegas and the meaning behind certain songs he sang. Overall, I had a great experience, and I would go back again!

This exhbit fit the bill and more. Located in the Fashion Mall, there are several rooms, some immersive, with music and steeped in culture. As mentioned by others, if you pay the entrance fee there is a credit applied for the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that if you have a conference badge, entrance is free. Dinner was wonderful as well. Steady and delicious. I attended on a Tuesday night and while the strip was hectic, this museum was not. I am not sure what the crowd is like on a weekend but do yourself a favor and visit this place for a different kind of Vegas experience.

The place was pretty dead as we had just missed the lunch rush. But, we didn't mind. So, this place is an experience that I highly recommend if you are at the mall, especially if you have elementary aged children. It's so fun and colorful. We started by paying $15 each at the door and getting a wrist band. This cost was for the experience and if you decided to dine there then you can use the $15 credit toward your food. We chose to eat first. My husband and I enjoyed delicious cocktail, the cilantro bliss and the margarita. Both were 10/10. For food we had a cesar salad, fideo seco, picadella, and of course chips and salsa. Food review: For the table they bring tortilla chips and refried beans. It was pretty good. 8/10 Cesar Salad- 6/10. This is not a traditional cesar salad. We didn't care much for it. Picadella- 8/10 pretty good. Enough for two people if you are eating light. It comes with beans and rice. Fidea Seco- 8/10 different but good. Chips and salsa- 4/10. There were 3 kinds of salsa; green, mild and hot. The mild was hot and the hot was too hot. I wouldn't order it again. There were 3 of us so we applied all $45 to our bill, making our bill close to $50 before tip. After eating we went to the experience and it was so cool. All three of us are adults and we enjoyed it but younger kids would really enjoy it. After you are done, the door that you leave out of leads you outside so if you want to eat or shop at the gift shop, I suggest you do it before you do the experience. Final Thoughts: It was fun, but we won't go back. Definitely for tourists and I would suggest it to friends with younger kids for sure.
